The children factor makes this incredibly tough and complex. Because you know what the answer is to this situation, if you both didn't have children. This is what you're grappling with because if you guys spilt, your children will be negatively affected. And if you don't, you will continue to grapple with the cheating situation in the back of your mind like a splinter in your mind. Did you forgive your wife? Yes... balding, a receding hairline, etc is unattractive but it is what it is. You have to put in harder work to make up for it somehow. The older I get and the longer I've been meditating--it's becoming clear to me that the things I once thought were bullshit (tarot readings, astrology, psychics, home remedies, religion to an extent, superstitions, paranormal, etc) are actually true. These things can happen and you have to experience it for yourself. The trick is to not be scammed by someone out doing it to get something out of you, like money.

What if they're right? Although, in the 2nd link... they show a photo of what seems like a 'nu-age' guy meditating shirtless on a beach. I think that's the 'type' that they're talking about. I seriously doubt they're talking about the common, well-adjusted folk who realized that material things, validation and money does not bring them happiness, so they look inward. That's quite a bit different than someone looking to escape their mind with spirituality, meditation and psychedelic abuse.

That’s wild OP, I’m sorry you’re going through that. I had no idea that’s even a thing. Hearing loss or getting tinnitus is a big fear of mine. I can’t even imagine your situation of things being incredibly loud and uncomfortable. My best friend suffers from tinnitus from listening to lots of loud music with stereos and headphones when we were growing up. Ever since he told me about that, I have always put EQ loudness limits in the settings of all my devices. And Leo is right about the music thing—too much music loses its specialness. Taking a few days off from music makes it so much more amazing when you come back to it.

Ironically, the "woke-ification" was a sign that America was getting more powerful. If we have enough free time to get real messy and try to sort ourselves out in society (racism, immigration, gender, pandemic response, taxing the wealthy, etc) that means we're making progress. And at the same time, dumping trillions of dollars every year into the military. Meanwhile, Russia was stagnating not moving anywhere except riding on the coattails of America, using American products and devices and mimicking American lifestyles (only the rich though). I think what happened is that Putin ended up believing his own propaganda he sought out to inject into America with Trump (which worked by the way). He started to believe his own bullshit and now he has $1 million dollar bounties on his head, a crashing economy, political unrest, using 1980s military equipment and having a hard time taking over Ukraine, looking like Hitler on the world stage. The world is moving on.

I know the Russian propaganda machine is working overtime in Russia right now, but is there maybe a small chance the Russian people are seeing Zolenksy for example--as being an actual REAL leader; putting on a uniform and carrying an AK with his fellow brothers to defend his country's freedom? I know the younger Russian zoomer generation doesn't want this God awful system that Russia currently has. Especially now that the luxuries of the West are being ripped from under the feet of everyone there. Maybe like a seed planted into the mind of the 'Gen X' Russians to maybe go "hmmm maybe we can maintain the badass Russian image but also not be stuck in 1940s with these old rich power hungry fucks"?

1) They're currently getting their asses de-westernized right now lmao. I think that’s what she meant when she says cancel culture. Society canceled Russia en masse for this. Sanctions out the ass and tons of banning. It’s gonna hurt badly.
