  1. Boss, remember she has insecurities as well. Contrary to public opinion, Women generally have lower self-esteem than Men.
  2. @Gianna Buy, 'Feeling Good', by David Burns
  3. Step 1: Allow yourself to feel the emotion you are experiencing now in your body Step 2: Ask yourself, 'Could I welcome this feeling?' Step 3: Ask yourself could I let this go? Step 4: Ask yourself would I like to let it go? Step 5: Ask yourself when would I like to let this go? There's more to it. This is the basic structure though.
  4. Before approaching, between each set, and after you finish your session for the day practice the 4-step Sedona method! Is a beautiful thing that really helps out.
  5. @StarStruck Keep talking to her after you get the number.
  6. @Raptorsin7 @Raptorsin7 I would be wary of trusting a man's opinion on what is attractive to men. Its the 'I got knocked out by Mike Tyson' mentality.
  7. What are people's opinions regarding the European Super League (ESL) in Football/ Soccer, and Spiral Dynamics?
  8. @Cocolove You're welcome! A book I have found to be effective, in numerous aspects, for overcoming limiting beliefs is 'feeling Good', by David Burns. It could be a useful book for overcoming some of your own limiting beliefs. Good luck!
  9. Wow! Sounds like a super cool life purpose! Love it! Preliminary comment I'd say this. I only know this text that I see before me. I don't know you, only you really know you. Also, there are many things one could talk about here, in relation to your post, but for want of time I'll just pick a couple things 1) Overcoming Resistance However, I sense that the Sedona Method might help you. Gura talks about it here. Letting go of your attachments to things will be something that allows you to better see aspects of what you really want to do. Gura also talks about resistance as one of the core concepts in the course! It may be that you have an attachment to finishing college, and when you consider not finishing it there is intense resistance. If that, or something similar is so, then letting go could really help you. 2) Limiting beliefs You might consider doing some limiting belief work. Having said that, you sound really positive in general! However, I noticed that when you said "This fall i will go to college and my harvest will be fucked". The law of attraction means that what we focus on is more likely to occur. Perhaps, it is certain that if you go to college, your harvest will be fucked. However, even though I don't know much about your chosen medium, I am presuming it is not, in truth, certain! Perhaps, you could do some inner work on some limiting beliefs. It might help! End Hope this comment provides you value!

  11. Aside from the money part lol
  12. @QandC The impacts will likely be significant. However, its likely Gura will barely be remembered by anyone. If you have access, watch the 'Detachment from Outcome' video in the core concepts part of the Life Purpose Course
  13. @Mind of a beast I wouldn't discount college. A real issue for you will be not re-inventing the wheel.
  14. One thing that causes complications in many aspects of the rape issue is the attrition rate. Only a small minority of those who commit criminal offences get sentenced for committing the offences. In many countries the attrition rate (Criminal offences committed for which the relevant parties are sentenced: criminal offences committed for which the relevant parties are not sentenced) is below 1/ 10. One interpretation of those statistics is that there is a systematic issue with the criminal justice system in relation to sentencing. It is likely that one aspect of the low rape offence sentencing ratio issue is the attrition rate.
  15. Perhaps, buy 'Feeling Good' by David Burns. CBT book. May help you with your inner game. It certainly has the potential too.
  16. Added need. By this, I am referring to it potentially being the case that you have an added need for caffeine. I.e. something like ADHD (often respond well to stimulants). I'd advice looking up ADHD, and running through some symptoms. It may be that this is not the case at all. Then there are many possible reasons why you may feel this way. However, if it is ADHD then maybe your entire changes.
  17. Paul Thomas Anderson's filmography is great. Punch Drunk Love is a great starting point.
  18. Hey guys! I'm gonna talk through where I've been and where I'm at now. Where I've been: Depression, schizoid defence mechanism, suicidal ideations, PTSD, social anxiety, insomnia, low energy, low grades, hated studying. Where I'm at now: Depression is now 1/14 days, not 13/ 14. Schizoid defence of experiencing the world as not real, and experiencing the world as if through a glass jar = not experiencing anymore Suicidal ideation (18 months experienced everyday) = Gone PTSD caused anger outbursts = Gone Social anxiety = alleviating gradually, but significant progress made Insomnia = Dealing with it Low energy = Higher energy Low grades = Now at medium grades, but the trajectory is on point. Hated studying = Now look forward to studying Thoughts These things happen. Big changes. Its possible to change. Stay blessed, stay peaceful.
  19. Lol I don't know how to quote from other parts of the forum. Copy and paste it is . "Hey guys! I'm gonna talk through where I've been and where I'm at now. 20. Hey! I'm going to make a journal. I'll quote some other posts of mine to start me off.
  21. @flowboy Thanks! My PTSD may still be there, but the anger outbursts are mostly gone. I say mostly instead of gone, as they still come around maybe once a month, but it used to be multiple times a week. Honestly, behavioural activation has been immense for me (essentially smart scheduling). I have also been in weekly psychotherapy for coming up to a year. However, the impact of that is hard to actually analyse. @Willie Thank you as well!
  22. @aurum Thanks! Took another big step today. Left my group of friends from childhood and am stopping hanging around with people who I don't feel I have a healthy, or relationship I want with. Am already seeing more worth in myself! (1:10)
