  1. modern society is not ill per se. the lack of consciousness work makes it ill the consciousness work could be anything like : meditation, concentration and...
  2. Yes, Carl Jung maybe. Stanislav Grof (Czech psychiatrist) could be great.
  3. all tribes are not the same, maybe one is more higher than other in spiral dynamics. bunch of them are welcoming if you happen to go and live with them. bunch of tribes are cannibalistic and they will chop your head off if they happen to see you around them (a different and modern person)
  4. It's not simple you'd say just because I saw a tribal community were doing psychedelics, then they're not purple. the spiral dynamics is a comprehensive approach. not only it considers the consciousness level but also lifestyles, culture, the place of living, the interactions and all stuff together
  5. you are the trident gum man
  6. if you'd be able to maintain that awareness, why not! but maintaining that awareness needs much power!
  7. @AlldayLoop @Elham the position of meditation isn't important. but the most important thing is the sense of your comfort, if you're meditating while you have distractions from outside (like your back is aching severely because of that unsuitable rough cushion or you're feeling discomfort because the temperature of the room is not well-regulated) I should tell you that that session of meditation is gonna be an unproductive one. so choose the well-suited position for your session. but you should maintain the full waking state while you're doing meditation. so solution for this problem is getting enough sleep before meditation, or having cup of coffee or green tea.
  8. do the work, that's great!
  9. maybe a myth but the more you practice, the more you fire and wire your neurons in your brain. but practicing consciously would most of the time reduce the hours significantly.
  10. don't expect someone would come and say that marriage is good or bad (in a dualistic way) because it's your preference at the end of the day. but speaking of my case, I'd like to prefer not to marry and have kids, it's completely outdated notion for me and I understand that what your girlfriend is trying to express and trying to be true to your love out of wedlock. most of the time, a person is immensely afraid of their own loneliness and solitude of their future and that's why they choose to get married and have kids.
  11. yes, 100% of problems are inside, yes it's hard for me to accept this fact, but hardcore consciousness work gives you the power and capability to realize that all the things outside are merely the reflection of your inside.
  12. this style has nothing to do with any stages at all!! those courses are trying to present you a fixed perception about one subject so try no to fall into that trap. as a matter of fact, saying romantic relationship is dead or alive is just focusing on the limited cases but you should consider the world-wide cases, billion cases! but the thing is related to stages is that how freely you behave with the sex subject. do you label the girls who want a sex combined with love a nice girl? and a girl who just want to have sex an asshole? (it's all in your head!!) remember, there's no need to be in love to be involved in sex, those who say that the partner should firstly see your soul and be one with it in order to have sex with you are the creepiest words that I've ever heard...
  13. @Leo Gura I just wanna raise a question here: it's said that if you hate something in your life, life will bring you more of that to teach you not to hate it but to love it. so why the heck is life trying to do that when hatred is the twisted and contorted form of love? why reality wants to be dualistic in this case?
  14. this doesn't apply for the emotional mastery achieved after an enlightenment. but yes, two sides of spectrum are far from each other but when you reach the end of spectrum it begins from the other side abruptly (YING AND YANG) It's said that the darkest moment of night is just right before the dawn so this applies to our emotional system too.
  15. Yes, Enlightenment makes you super-productive because the EGO is always leech off of your energy on a moment by moment basis.
  16. on the conscious level not really and maybe he wouldn't have thought about it at all. but on the subconscious level, yes!
  17. @Leo Gura still hard to digest for the mind which is not ready. I'm not a flatterer and I don't like to be flattered but as a matter of fact, I really appreciate your genius works, sometimes I wish I could watch every one of actualized.org videos for 100 times to internalize in order to put them into practice in my everyday mundane life.
  18. I don't recommend cigarettes, try to be cool another way
  19. I didn't tell you to go out and get dead drunk but again practice consciousness work. try to deprogram yourself from the "social conditioning" and shoulds and shouldnts
  20. If you're getting upset, then you're not enlightened if you're enlightened, then you're not getting upset at all
  21. Hahaha, have you ever been drunk? can you think how do you think and what do you think at that mode? you're just a Pure Patrick so remember what was your way of thinking, perspective at that moment. try to internalize them when you're sober.
  22. so far I've gone 3 hours and 20 minutes straight, not higher.
