  1. @JosephKnecht Most people havent mastered meditation to the point of hours of studying or hours of meditating. Is another reason to do meditation more but plenty of folks don't apply here.
  2. I like yoga and meditation a lot but could use more balance but I struggle to enjoy studying for school and researching and interviewing and trying out over and over new fields to see which is the one for me. How do I actually enjoy this?
  3. @Leo Gura I'm not much of foodie nor give much thought power to food just eat to live healthy nearly always. Sex im not getting any busy with survival would be bad partner. Travel isn't happening. Entertainment yes to fill the time I do that with books/articles and video games. Somethings have 0 resistance to while getting skills often do it's like oh great my parents put me here now I have to struggle nonstop. It's like I struggle to get addicted to life by the way society is designed I have to keep grinding but instead id rather not.
  4. There's many types of yogas and organizations and I'm in the process of investigating them all out but curious what are your thoughts thank you :).
  5. Should I sign up for the Self Realization Fellowship? You pay like $90 an they give lessons they have bunch of books. If not SRF curious which living tradition could probably find in a major city in California which helps with raising Kundalini fastest. I had it raised temporarily for 3 months after ayahuasca but it went back down. Thank you.
  6. @GreenWoods Shaktipat seems like superstition and or just full on placebo effect. I'll try it potentially one day. I looked up Santata Gamana unsure why I should trust their authority. They don't run a organization or have photos of them online could be just one of those authors that writes books lots of people want to read but doesn't have own experience or no original content is in there to make that specific author valuable opposed to others.
  7. @IJB063 I feel like one cause life seems to have so much pressure/hoops to hop through and idk how to deal with that.
  8. @Osaid Me. But I enjoy lazying around.
  9. I'm done watching porn its disgusting me at this point. I read a bit but what else is there. I'm a bit tired of studying and the usual games I'd play online aren't doing it for me.
  10. @The observer Have not much else to do in my home so doesn't seem reasonable at the moment.
  11. I'm ready for mystic Matilda. Any movies you look back an think wow, sublte signs of high consciousness?
  12. Purple and blue are group oriented and very reserved. Us vs them is massive.
  13. They're so central because spiritual teachings are humanity's main coping mechanism. The type of suffering that leads to enlightenment is somebody who is super depressed/suicidal eventually the self has had enough and enlightens/disappears. The second type of suffering is deliberate as in, purposeful purification of your heart. Deep self awareness/self questioning.
  14. @DreamScape I guess that's just how it goes with a finite vessel.
  15. Survival. How does one go above and beyond survival? By not valueing it? By being willing to die and that's the end of life as we know it? Truth, fairness, love is all great but I enjoy doing that in physical form.
  16. @DreamScape Well include would be to okay with it and transcend is to get over it/be above it. So have it be a part of your life just not a focus on it is what I'm getting at.
  17. @SageModeAustin so what exactly should one do to raise their consciousness level? persistent meditaton/yoga practice?
  18. Why not just bring it down to earth and call it states of mind. Mentality. Your mentality dictates your actions and so it should matter a lot.
  19. Dark actions and dark thoughts begin with dark emotions. If everyone was emotionally purified they would be beaming love.
  20. Play online games. I like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 the most.
  21. Clearly mainstream isn't working so I would recommend looking into intentional communities. Tends to attractive alternative people. Some communities make their own products which sustains their system. When you want to die what you really want is a change in reality. A lot of jobs don't have much of a point, just a means to survive. Perhaps you may be interested in something bigger like transforming people's lives through therapy, working with charity type of organizations, maybe even in local politics.
  22. @Mongu9719 Any specific reason you recommend Isha yoga oppose to other types of yoga like kundalini/kriya?
