  1. Hi @CARDOZZO In one of his insightful videos, Todd Perelmuter uses a powerful metaphor to illustrate how we can approach life, drawing a parallel with the ocean—a metaphor that resonates deeply within Buddhist teachings. He suggests that the waves on the surface of the ocean represent the transient, everyday challenges we face—like stress at work, personal conflicts, and the myriad distractions that often consume our minds. These waves are impermanent, ever-changing, and ultimately, they have no lasting substance. In Buddhism, this concept aligns with the idea of samsara, the cycle of suffering and constant change that characterizes human existence. We often get caught up in these waves, mistaking them for the whole of reality. However, Perelmuter encourages us to look beyond the surface, to the vast, deep ocean beneath the waves. This deeper part of the ocean symbolizes the steady, unchanging essence of being—the nirvana or enlightenment that lies at the heart of Buddhist practice. Just as the depths of the ocean are unaffected by the turbulence above, our true nature—our Buddha nature—is untouched by the temporary fluctuations of our daily lives. By connecting with this deeper, spiritual energy, we can transcend the superficial disturbances and cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity. This is the essence of mindfulness and meditation in Buddhism: to quiet the mind, to see beyond the illusions of the surface, and to realize the profound stillness that exists within us. This metaphor has personally been a tremendous help in my everyday life. By embracing this perspective, I’ve found it much easier to navigate the ups and downs of daily living. When I feel overwhelmed by the surface-level challenges, I remind myself to connect with the deeper, more enduring part of my being. This practice has brought me greater resilience, calm, and a profound sense of peace amidst the chaos of the modern world. In doing so, we not only find relief from the stress and suffering of everyday life but also align ourselves with the deeper truths of existence, allowing us to live with greater wisdom, compassion, and serenity. The ocean, in all its depth and stillness, becomes a perfect metaphor for the enlightened mind—unmoved by the waves, and in perfect harmony with the flow of life.
  2. Hey everyone, I recently discovered Todd Perelmuter, and I must say his teachings have been a game-changer for me. Todd emphasizes the practical application of mindfulness and meditation in daily life, making his approach incredibly accessible and relevant. He blends ancient wisdom with modern insights, focusing on finding peace and clarity in the present moment, regardless of external circumstances. If you're looking to deepen your practice and explore consciousness in a grounded, practical way, I highly recommend checking out his work. Would love to hear if anyone else has come across his teachings and what your thoughts are!

  5. Next level: https://vimeo.com/633172534 This is the most complete and extended opus from the ongoing series, exploring complexity emergence, based on the feedback loops. Multidomain image-to-image transforming neural network StarGAN2 has been used here recurrently, reprocessing its own output without additional inputs. The models have been trained on both figurative imagery and abstract art, to enrich and intensify visual & semantic experience. Moreover, part of the training data was synthetic itself: few source datasets were generated with custom StyleGAN2 models, adding another layer of mediation to distance even farther from the real. What we eventually get is an ever-changing shape-shifting loosely controlled abstract flux, which appears more lifelike and expressive on its own, than obscure resemblance of the origin flesh, stuck in neural convolutions.

  9. "Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to yourselves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the Creation. That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity your must identify of define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent of meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity. In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/ spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are everything, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One."
