Hey everyone, I recently discovered Todd Perelmuter, and I must say his teachings have been a game-changer for me. Todd emphasizes the practical application of mindfulness and meditation in daily life, making his approach incredibly accessible and relevant. He blends ancient wisdom with modern insights, focusing on finding peace and clarity in the present moment, regardless of external circumstances. If you're looking to deepen your practice and explore consciousness in a grounded, practical way, I highly recommend checking out his work. Would love to hear if anyone else has come across his teachings and what your thoughts are!

@Museful/Ted thank you so much, I'll look into this!

Hi @CARDOZZO In one of his insightful videos, Todd Perelmuter uses a powerful metaphor to illustrate how we can approach life, drawing a parallel with the ocean—a metaphor that resonates deeply within Buddhist teachings. He suggests that the waves on the surface of the ocean represent the transient, everyday challenges we face—like stress at work, personal conflicts, and the myriad distractions that often consume our minds. These waves are impermanent, ever-changing, and ultimately, they have no lasting substance. In Buddhism, this concept aligns with the idea of samsara, the cycle of suffering and constant change that characterizes human existence. We often get caught up in these waves, mistaking them for the whole of reality. However, Perelmuter encourages us to look beyond the surface, to the vast, deep ocean beneath the waves. This deeper part of the ocean symbolizes the steady, unchanging essence of being—the nirvana or enlightenment that lies at the heart of Buddhist practice. Just as the depths of the ocean are unaffected by the turbulence above, our true nature—our Buddha nature—is untouched by the temporary fluctuations of our daily lives. By connecting with this deeper, spiritual energy, we can transcend the superficial disturbances and cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity. This is the essence of mindfulness and meditation in Buddhism: to quiet the mind, to see beyond the illusions of the surface, and to realize the profound stillness that exists within us. This metaphor has personally been a tremendous help in my everyday life. By embracing this perspective, I’ve found it much easier to navigate the ups and downs of daily living. When I feel overwhelmed by the surface-level challenges, I remind myself to connect with the deeper, more enduring part of my being. This practice has brought me greater resilience, calm, and a profound sense of peace amidst the chaos of the modern world. In doing so, we not only find relief from the stress and suffering of everyday life but also align ourselves with the deeper truths of existence, allowing us to live with greater wisdom, compassion, and serenity. The ocean, in all its depth and stillness, becomes a perfect metaphor for the enlightened mind—unmoved by the waves, and in perfect harmony with the flow of life.

Next level: https://vimeo.com/633172534 This is the most complete and extended opus from the ongoing series, exploring complexity emergence, based on the feedback loops. Multidomain image-to-image transforming neural network StarGAN2 has been used here recurrently, reprocessing its own output without additional inputs. The models have been trained on both figurative imagery and abstract art, to enrich and intensify visual & semantic experience. Moreover, part of the training data was synthetic itself: few source datasets were generated with custom StyleGAN2 models, adding another layer of mediation to distance even farther from the real. What we eventually get is an ever-changing shape-shifting loosely controlled abstract flux, which appears more lifelike and expressive on its own, than obscure resemblance of the origin flesh, stuck in neural convolutions.

"Ra: I am Ra. Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to yourselves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the Creation. That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity your must identify of define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent of meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity. In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/ spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are not speaking of similar or somewhat like entities or things. You are everything, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinity. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One." -

After enlightenment it just becomes a matter of expanding your consciousness to the point of view of Infinite. Becoming enlightened isn’t a way to measure your spiritual progress or success. This is just something the inner judge does. The enlightened person doesn’t measure success because there is no failure. When you stop identifying with the phenomena within Awareness (e.g., thoughts, emotions, body-image, etc.) and wake up to the fact that you are Awareness itself—the only constant in the ever-changing world of your experience. You don’t become a categorically different kind of person, you just finally see the truth so clearly and completely that you can’t unsee it, and thus you dwell in a different paradigm from before. The core of your being is pure radiant divinity, and you are always already one with the infinite divine Consciousness which gives rise to and supports the entire universe. You are That; here and now. Connected with this you get a glimps of the transcending ... not able to put this into words or in other concepts we know as humans We as humans are limited... I would describe it as infinite love ? “Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water.” — Zen Kōan -

@Yonkon Correct, but: You choose your own thoughts (not affirmations) It's not necessary to write them down but for me it works best You don't have to look into a mirror After that it's life changing PLUS you are more aware of your (positive - neutral & negative) thoughts Deleting your negative thoughts: you can do this already when you are aware enough of your thoughts. After a negative though you have to think "erase" or "delete" Good luck with the exercise !

Thanks for sharing this @vander87 I'm in this situation where I had a few awakenings (f ex after a tantra massage ) where I had insight into a transcendental truth or reality. In my experience, when you become more aware the sexual drive is getting (a lot ) higher. + I'm still convinced by doing the practice of tantra you become more aware. I'm single at this point and I feel I'm perfectly ok not having a relationship and living on my own. I don't have the feeling I'm lacking anything. Now I'm thinking having different deep relationships (more than "friends with benefits) that will give me the chance to share my love (which I feel I have a lot ?) and sex ^^ I can't imagine to have a (serial) monogamous anymore (or poly) . In my limited experience I notice that it's not that easy to say the first time you meet someone on a date how you feel about monogamous relationships It's also difficult to explain it to a men that isn't aware yet. .. I also asked myself (also mentioned in another post of mine): What is the essence? Why do we want to deepen our relationships? What vibration are we searching for? Is it that simple TO BE the vibration what a deep relationship represent? The vibration we want to find in the other we have to create by ourselves? @Mu_ Gave me this insight : A relationship is actually a relationship with yourself > in action on a micro and macro scale. You can learn about yourself through science, interaction with something, relationship with another, alone in silence and many other ways. Maybe it's just time to learn about myself within relationships that are not revolved around one person who I commit only to... Still exploring how to evolve from this state further ...

Hi @abrakamowse , Thanks for sharing. Feel free to add your own thoughts. You don't have to do the exercise with my examples Were you laying down or in meditation posture when you did the exercise? Did you do it for 2 hours in a row? Because if you did you only have to do it one time to make life changing results Keep me posted!!

@abrakamowse Please share your thoughts if you did the exercise
