Elham replied to Elham's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Since I have posted this topic and tried some techniques, I had ONE lucid dream. It was a familiar theme so I recognized I am dreaming. Although I knew I would wake up if I die in sleep, I jumped off a cliff . I was not deeply in sleep though -
@bejapuskas Yaaa Well she is definitely in higher stages in the taxonomy that enable her to manipulate the concepts this well

@Anirban657 Our professor always gave us many many papers in our test to write the answers and when the answer was similar to the book we got bad grades! He wanted us first to read the book then understand it fully as to be able to summarise it. Then we were expected to create a concept maps that organized different ideas and then write our own interpretation. When you deeply know something, you should be able to apply it in real life. For example you read about a theory. After reading it you should understand it. If you have truly learned it, it means that you can apply it in different situations in your life. Then you should be able to organize it in relation to other theories you know (maybe similarities and difference). After knowing these patterns start to come out with new thoughts and ideas which is originally yours. I think that's how the taxonomy of higher thinking works.

You have asked directly from Leo so sorry I am jumping in and answer I have studied Teaching English and in one of our courses we have been taught about Bloon's Taxonomy of Thinking Skills. This taxonomy can be used for answering questions. I don't believe science only need direct and logical answer but considering what you say, if science is in "comprehension" category (as you believe) I think fields like philosophy are in higher stages in this taxonomy. You will need to go on the stages one by one to the top in order to be able to think in analysis and synthesis level then you can turn that into answer. I am sure studying more about this model will help you.

I always dreamed of traveling abroad. Many many times I have dreamed it in sleep and then I woke up and got soooo disappointed. And now I am sitting in the airport waiting for my flight in an hour for the trip I have dreamed of and I don't feel a thing! Why is that?? Why I have no passion when I see my dreams are getting fulfilled? It's not just this time. I dream of having something or doing something and when it happens I don't feel satisfied! Why is that?

There is a quote in Quran that says "when God created human body, he blow from his soul into it". Since I was a child I always thought well if God has blown his soul into me and my soul is God's soul, then I am partly God. Now I see I was onto somethig?. I never shared my conclusions with anyone though because if I said I believe I am God I would certainly be executed like Mansur Al-Hallaj ? (He is a guy who got executed because he kept saying "I am the Truth or I am the God"). People here like people in Hallaj days, but not as cruel?, are so strict about religious beliefs. Here God is a bearded man up in the clouds and everyone MUST respect and afraid of him! Anyway nowadays I see many of the thoughts and conclusions that I had in mind since I was a child is either true or was near true! I want to say I think everyone has this spiritual clues in them but it's in a subconscious levels that cannot be evolved. It is only through conscious practices that people will finally connect to those inner beliefs that are ALREADY there! Do you agree?

This topic gives me an itchy feeling ? It is like they are normal and we are superior and now how should we view them... Sometime I have this feeling that well I know stuff on self actualization and people don't so I am better! I HATE when I feel this so when I see a person who has not even started the journey, I try to remember the past-me and the incomplete-present-me?

I am not sureeeee but with a quick thinking on the subject I think because you are right handed, your left brain hemisphere is involved. Trying to do things with your left hand, since you are not used to it, simulate an exercise for the right hemisphere. Right hemisphere in the brain is known for creative thinking ... So yes! It may effect creativity and imagination!

I haven't notice here is becoming a male dominant place until you mentioned. And now that you mention I still don't notice it ?

Agree! I have the experience of teaching to children and I always felt this burden on my shoulders. The system, with its all rules and lesson plans, is far from understanding the children. After trying to apply many approaches, I finally decided to work on children's independency, imagination and motivation. Although it worked pretty good, I finally quit my job because the struggle between what system wanted me to do and what children actually needed took too much energy...

I live in a hell named Iran! Everything is crazy here ... you can't even imagine what's going on! Forget the media and newspapers and all they say about us... The country is the world of paradoxes!!! Furious people with kind heart, rich history with poor present, Islamic country with no religion, tradition minds with modern appearance, sanctions, brain drain, economic pressures... the list goes on and on. I can write a book! I am still living in Iran because the value of our money is so low and I cannot pay the living costs in another country for few months... I am struggling to apply to a university with scholarship to be able to leave appropriately!

Disagree It was through technology that I could actually peruse my counciousness path and get familiar with the concepts!

My biggest fear in life is to get old and have regrets in my life... The regret of not experiencing things I liked... The regret of having came the path that I shouldn't have... The regret of having no time to start again... My biggest fear is to loose TIME with no oppourtunity to retrieve it!

"Bojack horseman" series is a good example of stage orange!

Recently I have watched Leo's videos on spiral dynamics. I watched blue, orange, green and they were totally tangible for me since I felt I was in those stages and passed through somehow. I felt the most belonging in stage yellow (however, not purely). Reflecting on the subject, I see how I passed all those stages so unconsciously with no guide, no role model and in a third-world country! What amazed me the most is how ONLY the hard moments in my life pushed me up in the spiral dynamics. If I could assign only one point where I changed the stages, I believe it would be those hard and sad moment of mine. Each stage made me quieter, deeper and a keener observant but with a sorrow and numbness that I could never understand. Although I am totally ok with this, I just feel each stage took one part of me that I can't retrieve...
