  1. I agree. Absolute Truth is not a perspective. All perspectives are pure mental masturbation. But perspectives (in general) are needed for practical living. The only alternative is purely 'living' in accordance with Truth. Which would quickly result in physical death.
  2. Let me add: practical relative perspective: The exact same as "expanded relative perspective" except that time exists. So all the Solipsistic bubbles exist paralell to each other similar to how "paralell universes" would exist paralell to each other. But they are evolving. Only the present Solipsistic bubbles are real, right now. Past Solipsistic bubbles/realities happened in the past and others will happen in the future. Change is real. Impermanence applies here (while Permanence applies to the 3 above-mentioned perspectives).
  3. From the "expanded relative perspective", yes. Change doesn't exist.
  4. @BipolarGrowth Imo, more perspectives than just the typical absolute and relative perspectives must be considered when talking about such matters. ABSOLUTE perspective: Only one 'substance' exists. Potential = Creation. Absolute Perspective: Solispsism expanded relative perspective: All of Infinity is manifest right now. potential = creation. Time doesn't exist. Every possible Solipsistic perspective/creation (including humans, animals, aliens, stones, atoms,......) of the past, the future and all possible paralel worlds/realities exist right now. Similiar to the scientific theory of parallel universes. Just a lot more radical (as it contains all of Infinity) I haven't included what is generally considered the "realtive perspective" because it doesn't make much sense to me. If someone can explain it, I'm curious to hear. Great! My current upgraded technique is : Always try to remain within the sweet spot of 20-40 hours of sleep deprivation. No deliberate sleep. Alarm clocks every minute (during training). And a further upgrade of the FILD technique. Most days I don't manage it yet, because unintentional sleep is damn sneaky. But I'm slowly getting the hang out of it. When I do my current technique + sweet spot sleep deprivation (which hasn't happened often so far due to unintentional sleep ruining it), I can consciously enter a very light form of light sleep.
  5. Exactly. As I just mentioned, I was talking about it from the relative perspective. In previous posts, people basically said "some of infinite potential will turn into creation". This is from a relative perspective, because with "some" they mean more than what is happening in direct experience right now. So your argument can be applied to all of what they said. Ultimate perspective: Solipsism relative perspective: All of Infinity is turned into creation. potential = creation.
  6. Of course, ultimately, only what you experience right now is creation. And it is all of creation. Nothing else happened before and nothing else will happen in the future. But I was talking about it from the relative perspective. And you guys were too.
  7. You guys are saying that Infinity means there is the potential for everything to happen. And that this doesn't mean all of it will actually happen. Not all potential will turn into creation. But what is the difference between potential and creation? I propose that potential and creation is the same, in the exact same way that nothing and something is the same!
  8. "om namo bhagavate vasudevaya" (liberation mantra, recommended by Lahiri) "om namah shivaya" (recommended by Haidakhan Babaji and Sadhguru) "hare krishna, hare krishna, krishna krishna, hare hare, hare rama, hare rama, rama rama, hare hare"
  9. @Leo Gura It doesn't? Not even within infinite time?
  10. The ultimate is God. God imagines a "relative reality". The end. Or is there more to it?
  11. I assume it is quite rare to actually shift timelines. so you would be lucky to find some people here on the forum. But there are people who are very into reality / timeline shifiting out there. I'm sure they have forums too. There you will probably find people with similar experiences. Anyways, welcome in this timeline
  12. Measuring Brainwaves with the Muse S In this thread I made a few posts about my results from using the Muse S to measure my brainwaves. Here I pasted the main points from the different posts into one post. If someone is interested in the Muse S, the original posts are more detailed. - About the data: it's the average values of a couple of sessions: Consider the number as the strength of the particular brainwave. The higher the number, the more brainwaves in that frequency. When you measure your brainwaves you don't get a simple result as "10Hz". You always have some brainwaves of all frequencies "Baseline" is an average of: reading, watching youtube, thinking with eyes closed. It is difficult to determine your baseline levels because if you have your eyes open then that has an impact on your brainwaves. As well as any tiny movement or muscle contractions. My high delta baseline is undoubtedly due to that (because movement and muscle contractions has its most influnece on delta) I never had perfect signal accuracy. But I think it was somewhat ok. Except during sleep. There it was a mess. So that data might not be reliable. - Some findings from using the Muse S: the biggest difference between awake and sleep are lower gamma waves. Hence my emphasize on gamma and beta in my sleep yoga posts. Another big difference is an increase in delta. change in gamma always coincides with the same kind of change (increase or decrease) in beta change in alpha, theta and delta coincide. - I am doubtful of the accuracy of the data, because: My baseline brainwaves shouldn't be that similiar to the ones during trance (and meditation). And definitely not to those during light sleep, lol. (However, children's baseline brainwaves are similiar to those during their sleep. Even though sleep is a completely different state of consciousness. I'm confused. I think I don't understand brainwaves at all) I don't really see much difference in brainwaves when experimenting with different meditation techniques - Conclusion I don't think the data of the Muse S is accurate enough to continuously compare my sleep yoga practice with light sleep and draw conclusions about my progress. That is too impractical. Subjective experience seems to be all that is needed. If you are interested in measuring your brainwaves, then I recommend the Muse S. I guess the Muse products have the best benefit/price ratio. They are said to be quite accurate and are relatively cheap (I think I paid around $330 for the Muse S on amazon). But If you are purely interested in sleep yoga progress, doing the techniques is all what's needed.
  13. I forgot addressing sleep yoga in the previous posts. In case the data is actually accurate, the difference between my trance practice and light sleep was gamma, beta and delta. So if I wanted to achieve sleep yoga from trance, then I would need to increase delta during trance while keeping gamma and beta at roughly the same value (otherwise I would lose awareness). The focus would be on increasing delta (and theta probably too), but that approach takes way too long. I prefer the approach of working with sleep deprivation. Thus I basically already have the low brainwaves (delta and theta). Don't need to struggle to get them. They are automatically there. The only job is to remain conscious. What I wrote below "some findings" in the first post, had some value for sleep yoga. I don't think the data of the Muse is accurate enough to continuously compare my sleep yoga practice with light sleep and draw conclusions about my progress. That is far too impractical. And I also don't think I need any brainwave data, subjective experience seems to be all that is necessary. And I believe I'm close to a breakthrough. Therefore I currently don't really care about brainwave data. (On the previous posts: In case someone wonders how I got the brainwaves for the different sleep stages: I wore the Muse and my Fitbit at the same time)
  14. The image in the last post had shitty resolution quality. Here are the raw numbers. Now you should be able to see them: Consider the number as the strength of the particular brainwave. The higher the number, the more brainwaves im that frequency. When you measure your brainwaves you don't get a simple result as "10Hz". You always have some brainwaves of all frequencies. When people only mention for example "10Hz", thats a simplification. For simplifictaion, it could be considered the average (though I doubt that is true).
  15. That was the main reason why I bought it. I actually intended to make an extra post about it, but never got around doing it. Here you go: Here are the average values of a couple of sessions: image doesn't seem to have the best quality, sorry lol. I forgot to add the baseline waves at first. So I had to squeeze them in. I connected the dots with a line only so you can better see what are the same points. The connecting line has no actual meaning. Baseline is an average of: reading, watching youtube, thinking with eyes closed. It is difficult to determine your baseline levels because if you have your eyes open then that has an impact on your brainwaves. As well as any tiny movement. My high delta baseline is undoubtedly due to that (because movement has most influnece on delta) I never had perfect signal accuracy. But I think it was somewhat ok. Except during sleep. There it was a mess. So that data might not be reliable. I doubt these results. Because: My baseline brainwaves shouldn't be that similiar like during trance (and meditation). And definitely not like light sleep, lol. (However, children's baseline brainwaves are similiar to that during their sleep. Even though sleep is a completely different state of consciousness. I'm confused. I think I don't understand brainwaves at all) ,I don't really see a difference when experimenting with different meditation techniques. Not even thoughts vs no thoughts. Some findings: the biggest difference between awake and unconscious sleep are lower gamma waves. Hence my emphasize on gamma and beta in my sleep yoga posts. Another big difference is an increase in delta. change in gamma always coincides with the same kind of change (increase or decrease) in beta change in alpha, theta and delta coincide. All the data is from November. I haven't measured my brainwaves since. At first I was very enthusiastic about it but then I got bored. But there was an upgrade recently. Now it calculates your sleep stages as well. I guess I should try it soon. But there is also the issue with stableness. In order to get accurate results, whatever you do should be stable/constant for at least 10 minutes. Currently I have alarm clocks every minute. Pretty stable, lmao. Does anyone know some stuff about brainwaves? Do my results make any sense? Or are they bs?
  16. @Tovius you spend 2 h each day dreaming without realizing it. How can you be sure you aren't dreaming right now? ???????????? Contemplate. Contemplate. Contemplate. Till you realize that you don't know. You might be dreaming right now. If you contemplate enough, it will eventually feel more and more like a dream. Or try comparing dream vs this reality. Except for differences in content, they are perfectly the same. Life is a dream. There is no metaphysical difference between a dream and your experience right now. Ever got lucid in a dream? Try to fake/replicate the sensation.
  17. @Vision I have the Muse S. It's good. But I'm not sure how reliable and exact it truly is. Though it is said to be pretty good. In any case, it gave me some valuable insights. You definitely should additionally get the app Mind Monitor. It gives you the different brainwaves. The Muse app has been useless for me. It compares your meditation session to the calibration which you do right before your meditation. Thus you can't really track your performance over time. The performance it shows is always relative to your calibration session.
  18. @meow_meow yeah, I also can't really define it. I don't like defining stuff. It's so relative. But for practicality, I would say meditation has these main categories: non-dual mindfulness, presence concentration (active) letting go, surrender (passive) contemplation / inquiry trance Love, compassion visualizations (energy work) (There might be more, but that's all what comes to my mind right now. And there are of course all sorts of combinations.) Some of them can be integrated into your baseline continous every-day life. To some extend. In the first post you asked whether "everything is already meditation". That is the case if you define meditation as "being You".
  19. Practically speaking, there are infinitely many higher degrees/levels of consciousness. The end would be when your level of consciousness equals actual Infinite Consciousness. Which might be the case after mahasamadhi, but I'm not sure. Awakening is when you experientially know you are Infinite Consciousness, the end is purely being Infinite Consciousness. Which is somehting far more radical. Absolutely speaking, they are the same, and you are right now pure Infinite Consciousness, but relatively and practcially speaking, you are not. Relatively speaking, no matter how awake you are, it's still a finite consciousness, with finite phenomena. One drop within Infinity. As I said, absolutely speaking you are that Infinite Absolute Consciousness right now. When this is realized, many body-minds consider this the end. However, there are infinitely many degrees of depth of this realisation. It is not black and white. So there is no objective line. No objective point of when that is the case. So the 'point' when someone says to have reached the end is completely random. A mouse could say that just as well as Sadhguru. Or where do you draw a hard line between the two? There is none. So saying to have reached the end doesn't have much to do with actually having reached the end (imo) but rather is a random point of when this body-mind is satisfied with the current degree of realization. For the sake of practicality, we can somewhere create a line between a mouse and Sadhguru. And say that the mouse is not awake, while Sadhguru is awake. However, there are certainly advanced aliens out there who regard Sadhguru's degree of awakening in the exact same way as Sadhguru regards the degree of awakening of a mouse.
  20. I'm pretty sure @Vibroverse means "parallel realities" in a relative sense. Many (or infinitely many) imaginary worlds/universes 'within' Oneness. So it doesn't contradict Oneness.
  21. That depends on how you define "meditation". It would require a narrow defintion. There are many different kinds of meditations, and many can be very valuable (from the relative perspective).
  22. Impermanence the Highest Truth? I don't think impermanence is true when describing God. Impermanence obviously applies for everything that happens in the game/world. But I wouldn't describe God in its Absolute Form/Essence impermanent but permanent. For impermanence to be possible there needs to be time. But the Godhead is not subject to time. Everything that ever happened or could ever happen exists now. Thus God is never changing. Only from the relative perspective, it seems like stuff is changing.
  23. That comparison doesn't work. The relationship between software and hardware is completely different than the relationship between Consciousness and what you would call an external objective material reality. It does. When one says that a bullet is imaginary and then dies from a bullet, then that was not a failure of our spiritual truth. Absolute Truth is still Absolute Truth even when it fails to ensure practicality and survival. Practicality and survival are purely imaginary. They can only be conceived of when believing in an imaginary relative truth. Direct experience is proof. No logic or words will ever prove our claims. You need higher consciousness. Thats the only way.
  24. @Michal__ So you listen to his subs as well, awesome! Yeah I know. And listening for 19 hours is likely too much, making it counter productive. I knew that but couldn't resist LOL. Also, my goal during the past three weeks was not necessarily to get much practical results, but I primarily wanted to overwhelm my subconscious as much as possible in order to cause/force an intense general shift/change of my subconscious. And it seems to work. That's actually the most significant result I got so far, but it's a bit complicated to explain therefore I didn't list it in the first post. btw, I think his affirmation repeater is included in his ideal reality sub. Great advice!! There are many factors that determine success. LOA stuff (including beliefs) as well as consciousness are both big. The best results happen when combining subliminals with other methods.
  25. I'm gonna link it here:)
