That doesn't make any sense How can I realize what I am without consciousness? Sure, everything needs to be forgotten, but consciousness remains. Otherwise it would never be 'known' that the ultimate Nature was found. -

How can "what you are" be 'known/experienced' without consciousness? If there is no consciousness involved it couldn't be 'known' in any way. And you couldn't be sure that 'you' 'found' the ultimate Nature. How is consciousness a thought? In 'my experience' thoughts happen within consciousness. And recognition of consciousness can 'occur' without thoughts. What makes you think that sleep is possible? I'm not making the point of saying that sleep and what happened 5 minutes ago is imagination in the now. I'm proposing, that from the relative perspective, what happened 5 minutes ago is one "experience" or "now moment" within Infinity, whereas sleep is not possible, never happens, is not part of what can 'exist'. To 'know' that you are/be it, requires consciousness. -

When I meditate without thoughts, there still is consciousness. But you said as long as there is consciousness, it is not it. So how can it be it during meditation? Or are 'your' meditations so deep that no memories are formed. Can your meditations be recalled? Also, in what way is meditation different from psychedelics? It is surely possible to have no thoughts while tripping. -

@James123 Would you say that the true Nature, Nothing, is Self Conscious? Or is any kind of self consciousness ego? For example, the experiences of the Void which @Breakingthewall had (and 'you' too I think), was that the ultimate Nothing? If the ultimate Nothing is Unconsciousness, and has no Self Consciousness, then no memories of it can exist. Basically every experience of it, is not it, because that which enables to have the experience, to be conscious of it, is ego? That would mean the true Nature could never be 'experienced' no matter the psychedelic dose. It could only be be-ed without ego, which means no memories of it are formed, which means the ego can't recall anything, exactly like with sleep or before birth. The argument against that would be that Nothing = Consciousness. And that non-existence or unconsciousness doesn't exist. Only Consciousness. And Consciousness is Self Conscious. And sleep or before birth is not possible. What do you guys think?:) -

Very unlikely that you will get deep non-dual states from daily activity meditations alone. Once you have had many nondual experiences during formal meditation, you can try to get there during daily activities well. -

"Different planes of reality" exist if you imagine them. Mahasamadhi is the end of all imagination. -

You're welcome! It looks like a good model. But you don't need to go through all of that. By doing full mahasamadhi you skip all these densities and go straight to the 7th density, actually completing 7th density. No need for millions of years, 'you' can do that this 'lifetime'. I'm not sure about there being an 8th density in the way he describes it. From the relative perspective yes. But from the absolute perspective, mahasamadhi might be the end. For ever. -

In what way does seeing through the illusion of a seperate self correlate with the end of seeking? No matter how 'done' you are, there still is the appearance of a body, desires and thoughts. So what is this bundle going to do? just sit around do nothing and starve to death? Decicions are still made. The illusion that they are made by a seperate self is gone, yet decisions still happen, by themselves. If a decision to eat something is regarded as 'legit', why is the decision to deepen the awakening not 'legit'? Where does that bias come from? 'you' have to do something after all. For 'you' seeking has stopped, but for 'me' the desire for going deeper is present in the same way as the desire to eat. Whether 'someone' stops seeking doesn't so much depend on what awakening into no self they had, but what the reasons for awakening were in the first place: end suffering get a one-time glimpse of Truth know that there is no "you" but only the true Self be subtly aware of your true Self become deeply conscious of your true Self Truth itself ... All these reasons are just thoughts floating around, in the exact same way as the desire to eat. No? -

There is no anesthesia. And sleep doesn't exist either. You only imagine that. Guys, if you ever want to sleep in your life, you gotta learn sleep yoga -
There is no paradox and you are not human and God at the same time. It only appears that way in 'your' limited consciousness. You are fully God. You are not perceiving sounds, smells and visual objects (chairs, walls,...) through sensory organs of a human body. You are Consciousness/God imagining/being body sensations, thoughts, the belief and sensation of being a human, emotions, colors (which you call your body), and more colors (chairs, walls,...), sounds, smells. All hapening within You. No appearance is more You than other appearances. The chair is just as much You as body sensations. The belief that body sensations are more You, is yet another appearance, floating around. Did you ever say "I am a human"? But strictly speaking, what did really say that? It was your mouth, not a human. In that sense saying that you are a human is a lie, only saying that you are a mouth is true. Yet it is clear that this is ridiculous, and that it makes fully sense to call yourself human. Well, the same thing happens when you wake up. Calling yourself "human" is just as ridiculous as calling yourself "mouth". "God" is the most accurate label. You are not saying that the human alone or the ego alone is God. You are saying that God is God. And You are that. If identification drops back from "God" to "human", then it would be more accurate to say that you are a human. In the same way as when identification drops from being a "human" to being a "mouth", then it would be more accurate to say that you are a mouth. The human is not God (at least not more than other appearances). So as long as this human doesn't act superior (as though it alone were God), it is fine. As long as the mouth doesn't believe and act as though it is a full human (rather than a part of a human), it is fine. So practically speaking, if you believe you are a human, call yourself human. But know that truly, You are God, even right now. If you are conscious that You are God, then you know Yourself as God, because nothing else would make sense. However, the human will keep acting as though it is a human. Because you never said that the "human" is God, you said that "You" are God.

Check out the link I posted about subliminals. And in the coming days I will post a more detailed post. For most subliminals there is a way to find that out if you are good at eg. audacity. But when the affirmations are sped up and layered like crazy, there is probably no way of knowing it. I personally don't care. As long as the benfits are greater than potential (or aftual) negative effects, I'm totally fine with it. If you do happen to listen to subliminals with negative affirmations, you can reverse everything once you notice. -

You're welcome! Worshipping is silly. But devotion can be beautiful, and powerful for further spiritual growth (particularly baseline consciousness). -
GreenWoods replied to Frosty97's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's kinda difficult. Until you realize there is no universe. How to understand Reality? There are many techniques. Psychedelics are your best shot. yes. You are God. So realizing God shouldn't be too difficult:) -
GreenWoods replied to joshuahuebner's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Subliminals are affirmations that are not audible to the conscious mind, because the affirmations are either too silent, ultrasonic, too sped up or layered. Thus it bypasses the critical/analytical mind and goes straight into the subconscious. Benefits over normal affirmations: bypasses critical mind affirmations can be sped up and layered like crazy, thus the subliminals can become far more powerful ultrasonic (silent) subliminals can be listened even while doing stuff like studying without distracting you -

I've done hardly any research into that stuff, but from what I can tell, what you describe sounds like it could be a legitimate partial merkabah activation. Have you seen much progess over the past 7 years? Will you achieve full activation any time soon? Would be pretty cool -
GreenWoods replied to joshuahuebner's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If you are into binaural beats, I recommend listening to them during daily activities as well, thus you can slowly change your baseline brainwaves: During sleep, I recommend listening to subliminals.
