  1. Wow that is so amazing!!! It's possible to be conscious during sleep, called sleep yoga. That's what you experience. During conscious sleep you are sometimes able to leave your body and have OBEs. To get better at sleep yoga, next time when it happens, remain calm and try to lengthen the experience. Also, learn about sleep yoga
  2. Yes, the egoic interference pattern is part of God's will. Everything that's happening is God's will.
  3. The sensation of pain is different than the sensation of pleasure. But when you are selfless, your reactions to them is the same. Only when you are selfish can you experience pain differently than pleasure. If you are selfless, you perceive both sensations equally as God/Love/Isness, and literally can't distinguish between the two. It would make 0 difference whether you experience 1h of extreme pain or extreme pleasure. If someone told you pleasure is better than pain, you would be confused and not understand at all what they talk about. It would be a bit similar to someone telling you blue is better than green. That person is very serious about it and says to get headaches from seeing green and pleasure from seeing blue. When you are dreaming, and a knife cuts your fingers, is the pain caused by the knife? Of course not. Pain is just imagined, and has no cause. Like if you eat something in a dream and gain weight. Was it the food that caused you gaining weight?
  4. Actually there is not really a self or a person that experiences these things. It seems that way but that's a complete illusion. The body can't feel pain. Pain is an appearance, but has nothing to do with a wound of the body. In the same way as a chair is an appearance and has nothing to do with eyes or the body. Or that food has nothing to do with you gaining weight. Investigate how perception works. That there is a seperate self is an illusion, just as that the body feels pain. It's all just imaginations floating around, had by no one. Only by God. God is all of it. God loves all of it, as God is selfless, God is Love. It's God pretending to be pain. God pretending to be the imagination that someone is suffering. God pretending to be the imagination that the body is feeling the pain. God pretending to be the imagination that a knife in the stomach causes pain. Look at experience as a bubble of awareness, and inside that bubble imaginations float around. There is no cause or sepecial relations between these imaginations. And there is no brain or nerves or mind or person or self that experiences them.
  5. Maybe try repeating the word "me" over and over again, while remaining mindful. Eventually the word loses its meaning, and maybe its energetic content too.
  6. In that state you know that "grains of sand on earth" is your imagination right now. Or, if you want, you can make up any number you want, and it will be true. The number is imaginary, but so are the grains of sand. It's like asking yourself how many grains of sand exist in your day dream. If you say one million then that is true. There is no external authority.
  7. There is always only the Subject. Sometimes It imagines Itself as imaginary objects, and sometimes not. The Subject can experience Itself without objects, because the Subject is Consciousness, so It can be perfectly conscious of Itself. The reason why that is not possible for the self mind, is because it is an illusion, there is only the Self Mind.
  8. Not knowing is true for the ego. Omniscience is true for God.
  9. @RMQualtrough Awakening has nothing to do with the human mind. the human mind is an imagination within Consciousness just like a chair. And things like chairs are not dependent on a human mind. Existence = Consciousness. If it is not within your consciousness right now then it doesn't exist. There is only one Consciousness. God can't split Itself. I guess with nonduality you are referring to the formless Godhead/Singularity. You as God can 'experience' that. God = Consciousness. God can be conscious of Itself. Before birth doesn't exist.
  10. @Purple Man and @RMQualtrough God shapeshifts into the whole bubble. All of God becomes that bubble. Nothing else exists. @RMQualtrough There is no merging because there are not two. There is only One, God. You could metaphorically imagine God as a bubble of awareness that can dream up anything. What we call increasing consciousness is when the imaginations of illusions dissolve and God becomes aware of Itself as God. There are infinite degrees to that. But after a certain point it can clearly be called God Consciousness. It doesn't matter much whether some imaginations like the room and body sensations are still present. The important thing is whether God is conscious of itself or not. But there of course are states of consciousness where there are no imaginations like your room or body sensations. These states can be higher, but are not necessarily so. The measure of wokeness is the extend to which God is conscious of being God.
  11. Psychedelics would make that difference very clear. You don't take any right? And that even though you have 5meo in your name: Someone here The toad was talking with you when you chose that name
  12. I think pretty much all the stuff that other teachers talk about is included in proper God Consciousness. The reason why Leo doesn't often mention stuff like "is what it is" or "nothing really matters" is because it is so obvious and so minor compared to God Consciousness. What Jim Newman says is true. But it's not the whole story, it's like a few facets of awakening.
  13. If bubbles exist simultaneously, then that means you can't be God, because there is something outside your bubble, outside you. Therefore the highest awakening you can have from that pov is that you are a part of God, which is very different from God Consciousness.
  14. @Ineedanswers There really is no small self that experiences these things. It seems that way but that's a complete illusion. The body can't feel pain. Pain is an appearance, but has nothing to do with the body. In the same way as a chair is an appearance and has nothing to do with eyes or the body. Or that food has nothing to do with you gaining weight. Investigate how perception works. That there is a seperate self is a complete illusion, as well as that the body feels pain. It's all imaginations floating around, had by no one. Only by God. God is all of it. But God has no problem with it, as God is selfless and Love. It's God pretending to be pain. God pretending to be a human. God pretending to be the imagination that someone is suffering. Look at experience as a bubble of awareness, and inside that bubble imaginations float around. One of these imaginations is the belief/knowing that there is a seperate self. And everything is Love anyway, as Existence Itself is Love.
  15. @Imponderable Have you been a state of consciousness, where that became possible?
  16. Yes, including your body. But just because it is not the body or eyes that does the seeing, doesn't mean that there are no visual appearances. There are visual appearances. They are not perceived through your eyes, in that sense your body is blind. But these appearances still exist. You perceive them by being them. It is a direct 'process'.
  17. I mean, in the same way that eyes are believed to be responsible for visual appearances. Haha no lol.
  18. Yes, therefore it is limited. But not completely useless, because things like lemons and stones are filtered out.
  19. sweet, nutty, milky. That is close enough to be able to differentiate it from a lemon when blindly tasting.
  20. @Mason Riggle Yes, that might work. But it wouldn't be the sense organ responsible for that stuff. @Tyler Durden Well without that no one would buy into the illusion of sensory organs. So God imagines stuff that is in accordance with scientific theories, such that people actually believe scientic theories. In a dream, when you close your eyes, everything becomes dark as well. But were it the eyes that was responsible for the visual stuff? You might as well see all that visual stuff with eyes closed, or no eyes. If God decides so.
  21. @impulse9 I would say language is limited. If that person tasted stuff that is a bit similar, then you can describe the taste of choclate to a small extend. Enough so that if the person later blindly tasted choclate and a lemon, he would know that the choclate is choclate and the lemon not.
