Waitressing is a respectable job while most porn jobs are denigrating like cum on the face, tea bagging and doing a dirty trombone or dirty Sanchez. Finding a great coach is very difficult. A lot of charlatans out there. The best coaches are free but it is difficult to find. It must be somebody who walked a similar path and had the same struggles as you. Otherwise there won’t be a fit between student and coach. Talent is overrated. There is so much talent in the world but they have no discipline and right guidance and the talent fades away without being actualized. Talent is both a blessing and a curse depending on how you go about it. I have given up on finding a coach because my past is very different and I can’t find a good fit. I understood I have to be my own savior. And although I have coaches (not 1 on 1) and still do my own thing. Only when I started doing my own thing, coaching myself and being my own therapists I started solving my problems. One of them being my addictions which is a huge relief.

I don’t think it can be attributed to one thing. A car can be broken in many ways. But usually it is lack of action and there might be many reasons for that. One can have ambition or knowledge or whatever but still have no success because of no action. Usually a person with no so much ambitions or knowledge will have more success with somebody who has purely because he takes action. Now I think about I would say this: lack of self knowledge.

What you knuckleheads don’t understand is how difficult it is to get your life straight if you had a rough past. Usually getting it totally right in once is not even possible. Only little upgrades from a bad situation to a good situation. So that is why I have so much respect that are trying the best they can.

Most people just want to navigate New York and you are telling them to not use the map of New York because it is inaccurate to navigate the galaxy. Most people don’t want to leave earth in the first place. They just want to go around New York and having a good enough map of the city is better than having none. I used LOC to solve a lot of my problems and to understand human psychology on a very deep level. And at the same time I don’t use the maps of New York to navigate the solar system because there is a different map for that. But even the maps you poopoo like LOC recognize their limitations. At LOC500 you enter non duality and at LOC1000+ the map stops recording.

The map is not the territory but that doesn’t mean there is no practicality to the map. Everybody who uses a map knows that map is not the territory but that is not the point of having a map. That is what Leo doesn’t understand and why he is so impractical in his teaching. Being practical is essential to - navigating - reality .. Maps get outdated all the time but that is not the point of maps. There is huge benefits to maps. But it is important to not get too attached to maps. Both spiral dynamics and LOC has huge value imo.
