Most don't .. but not all and specially Carl-Richard. And there should be a mechanism to address that. Currently certain mods have formed clans, favor clans and corruption is abound. There should be an independent board that is a higher hierarchy than the mods.

There is really no point to that if the mods back each other’s ass. What is the point if they always choose the side of their fellow mods? This is corruption and it should be weeded out. Mods shouldn’t be allowed to form clans and favor clans, do self promotion for anything and people with low consciousness or big ego shouldn’t become mods. It just takes the quality of the forum down.

I’m not obligated to agree with extreme feminists on this forum. If I receive couple of reports from this fringe group on this forum that doesn’t mean I should get a warning. The warning I got for being ideological and my opinion was basically the same as that of Leo. So why do I get a warning and Leo doesn’t get a warning? This is what I mean. Carl-Richard misuses his power and uses his mod rights as a stick against his opponents. I’m not the only one with this complaint. Multiple people said Carl-Richard is in fact the ideological person, and he is a mod. If multiple people complain about this mod the problem is not the people. I’m one of the most easy going people you can meet. You can believe me when I say this. This is just my advice to Leo: he should break the back of the corruption between his mods, the mods should serve the community, not a fringe group and mods should be independent, not back each other’s ass. This is how corruption is created. The quality of the mods determine the quality of the forum.

This thread exposes the toxic culture between mods. Several people made serious remarks about Carl and the other mods just blindly support a fellow mod while mods should be independent. If Leo wants to fix the culture on this forum it needs a top to bottom approach, not a bottom to top approach. He should get rid of toxic mods and mods that don’t understand their role. The role of mods should not be to cover each other’s ass. They are here to serve Leo and the community but unfortunate a lot of them develop an ego and spiritual ego.

It is not that I don't like Carl-Richard. I respect different view points. This guy has a huge ego and shadow side. He accused me of being ideological while I hold 0 ideologies. He is just projecting his ideologies/shadow and it is not a nice trait for a mod to have to be so dishonest. The underlying problem is that some mods are misusing their power for self promotion. Some do it to promote their coaching and others use their mod privileges for their ego gratification.

There are far more problematic mods than Nahm. Yes, he is out of this world from time to time but he was clearly making progress compared to last year. Mods like Carl-Richard are far more problematic(in a different way and a big nuisance ideologically imo). I hope at least Nahm gets a chance for reinstitution.

In my opinion Leo should be ruthless on this point. A lot of people are here for self promotion and "finding clients" and it just taints the character of this forum. Self promotion should be banned.

I felt like Nahm dailed it back and became more down to earth in the last few months. Sometimes I didn't understand what he wrote and I thought it was my mistake; I had to reread it. Afterwards I discovered it is just his style. He likes to talk in riddles so to say and you have to unpack it to understand it. He helped me a few times and I'm thankful for that. If one doesn't want to change it is spiritual ego and I don't think he is the only one guilty of that.
