ColdFacts replied to ColdFacts's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's the edit part, what i mean is that some people think and die thinking they were humans so it's a failure, this is just one of many more reasons you can extract from this. -

Energy can't be created or destroyed is a law for at least mass and materialistic world. If the ego is something that can be destroyed and just vanish then that would mean that it is something independent from everything else right? Since it is not independent from everything else and it is connected it means that it will affect other things, this means that you can't kill the ego you can only "transfer" it as a whole or by tiny parts to everything else. You might say everything is one and that is true but for the ego that isn't such a bad thing because while it isn't independent from everything else it still exists as a chunk a undissolved piece in this ocean of watter as a example. When waves of suffering and desire crash with this ego it will deflect them according to his nature(strength) and it's this resistance which is expressed through your thoughts feelings, ect because if it didn't resist then it would mean there was nothing for those wave to crash in. So those waves are very useful(as claimed in religions) for detecting the ego or parts of it. Let's assume you have a ego and you know it and it will be expressed on those waves, if it is yours then you should be able to give it away right? If you can't give it away is it really yours? EDIT:oops wrong place

From my view everything is great though. -
So i personally am a casual human like 90% of me is human at least that's how i see myself. I have noticed that there are quite a few people here who have a different view of themselves and i would like to know any positive qualities they might have compared to us mere mortals as motivation. I know that you can't use words to perfectly describe it and i know that i am actually you, i say this so that you know that i respect your view and you can feel safer to become vulnerable and give honest info back to me or anyone like me. To make this fair i will give some info about my view currently. As of right now i have been able to nullify all my emotions including lust, this one was quite hard but i liked the challenge and i have reached a state where i can basically look at porn for months and feel absolutely nothing if i choose so and obviously no thoughts whatsoever on the street, if anyone could look into my thoughts history on that matter i would come crystal clean ahah. When people die including me they don't become god they don't become nothing, i think they become this undefined thing that is nothing but can become anything, that's how i see it. When i reached this state knowing that i came from a undefined state (before being born) and will go to the same state (after dying) it made reality between those things mystical and fresh just like in my childhood. That 10% which isn't me is my awareness which i like to think is almost the same as that undefined state, it's like the gate where stuff goes and comes from. I guess that's enough from me let's hear you guys, thanks for reading.

I am glad you have made it in a better world, and that you try helping us reach it as well. -

Hahah, who told you that? Is there any book or author about this topic? -
You can't have it both ways, it's like walking forwards and backwards at the same time, your options depend on each other, you can only choose one. I think the best is to ask her out in your case. After whatever decision she makes tell her why you had to do this, and see where it goes from there.

What i mean is that people usually have this default identity unconsciously installed to them when they are young, it does vary but they just kind of have it where you think you are a human separate from everything else. After you realize that my claim is that you ""might"" have the chance to choose and if you did have that chance why did you make your choice and what did it benefit you compared to that default state or operating system/identity. -

I appreciate the honesty, thank you for this. -
I'll tell you mine. I'm from some developing country, probably first or second stage in the spiral dynamics, grew up in a village, farm and stuff. People are as you might imagine and things are super super corrupted, you would not believe. While this was already hardcore to even survive i added another thing to this because i wanted it to be more challenging, and that is always telling the truth, being nice no matter what, honest, and fair in everything i did. I always did this without people knowing what was going on, and that was pretty easy because no one expects such a person in real life and whenever i did things for their sake, told the truth, was nice, honest, fair they always always would take it as weakness, foolishness, ignorance ect and for my cause or challenge that was the best that could happen to me the most awesome way to hide my intentions without lying. Around 13 or something i got into self help for obvious reasons, since i needed a upgrade for my challenge but unfortunately i could not meditate because that is seen as a mental disease or crazy religious person(i could not judge them though) another thing to make mattes worse is that during meditation i would give up my ability to react to things in a way to focus more on nothing and as a result i can't wake up or react if anyone comes in and finds me, i might become aware of them but can't move unless they push me or i somehow finish my meditation. While i was in a village with forests and such i could not meditate for those reasons and because my parents together with other people would follow me if i did something weird or that they could not see the reason of, pretty crazy i know haha. I guess this is enough for now heheh.

I just wanna know stuff, it's new it's nice. I did act like a troll in a few post before (wasn't my intention though) but i didn't care to scan properly the place. My self image just exists and if it were to die then as i mentioned i don't know what happens, so why would i protect it from something i don't know(including not knowing)? -

I have a contemplative form of maladaptive daydreaming. I guess it falls in contemplative meditation if that even exists, and since we are here it is not normal being able to not think for 5 minutes, i mean just a blank space for 5 minutes? -

I can understand your view i think, for me both triangles are that undefined state so i can't really judge the one in the middle, so whatever it is at least it is defined. Thanks for the comment. -

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other Matthew 6:24 -
Jesus as son of man is a very well known thing to humans but as a simple carpenter.

You have free will. If you did not have free will you would not be bothered about not having it. People in general and here too confuse free will with having it both ways, since they don't have something then they have no free will but wait a minute how did you know that you don't have it? Yes you don't have what you want but isn't knowing that you don't have it not enough already? If the want is yours then you surely can give it away if not then the better because you never wanted. -
The unwanted feeling or resistance is something forced on you something that you don't want and only the opposite can generate such a feeling, that is you are holding dearly into something that isn't yours or should not be yours if you want to remove that resistance.

Are those your words, or the ones of your desire to fry your brain? -
ColdFacts replied to Anton_Pierre's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The answer is simple, they don't want to do the work they want to cheat, they are cheaters. Of course they don't view themselves like that i mean what kind of cheater admits that? They think that in a state where you can't add 2 + 2 they will somehow add the most complex state ever possible by humans, great reasoning there. Let them kill themselves i mean they just deserve it at this point and age of humanity. -

Guys when people say things like language can't do it justice why does it sound like god works in mysterious ways? -
This is how you evaluate your progress. First we have the reason for this whole thing, usually it's a abstract thing or desire in your mind, second we have the problem, reality which usually is nothing like the desire or reason/imagination. Now how has any of this self actualization helped you in either changing the abstract desire/imagination or the reality? That's where your answer is.

Well, you can't be average unless you act average, which means to be a selfish person way more than what you are right now, exploit people, lie a lot and serve your desires like a good slave. You can't have that viewpoint so easily, it will cost you just like it costs them. If all this sounds fine to you it will be even harder to apply and it's just awful no matter how you see it. You just can't go down it's not worth it you've seen how it is, but you can always try see how it goes.

I think you should not rely on other people to validate whatever you fear they won't. With this mindset you're coming from a place of scarcity and dependence, instead assume the worst or assume nothing good or bad from them and let your actions originate from a neutral intent or one where you only give and expect nothing. Do to this you'd have to have what you are seeking from other and this is why you are stuck on a loop. You have to find that thing in yourself and only expect to express it or give it to other people otherwise i think it will be hard to get out of it.
