Has anyone who applied the law of attraction manifested their wings and their big donger yet? jokes aside I did write down what I wanted to attract into my life a while ago as I was intrigued but skeptical and it hasn't arrived yet or perhaps I just misunderstand it. what do you think of this short excerpt relating to the LOA ''HER MOTHER’S STORY I have to try to contain my anger in writing this. My mother was following Abraham Hicks for about 5 years. She became completely brain washed and her personality, connection to family and sense of reality changed as a result. She bought and listened to everything they had along with her circle of new spiritual friends. She learned and believed that our minds have the ability to manifest our physical being and that anyone that has a disease or illness somehow manifested it upon themselves. She believed as a result of Abraham-Hicks teachings that people could heal themselves from Altzheimer's, cancer, etc. And yes, you could have anything you want if you follow the laws of attraction. They also teach that if your family or friends don't believe or understand to separate yourself, your past doesn't matter, etc. My mother came to live with me 6 months ago because she had suddenly lost her vision and of course thought this was a spiritual thing... Well, we took her to real Physicians and found out she had metastatic cancer. Hmmmm, guess she manifested it in herself. Upon finding this out she was in denial and became frantic to listen to her audio Abraham-Hicks tapes, meditate, etc. I ended up listening to them by default and found their tactics to be very cult like and a lot of what they said was very manipulative. Every book says the same things in different ways over and over. Other things they said were no big secret but plain old common sense. They have just found a way to package and sell to susceptible people and keep them coming back for more because they become dependent.''

Is she legit or is she a scam/fraud? She does spiritual reading medium stuff a lot 150 bucks.

I haven't watched the colour stage stuff from Leo. mostly the basic self help.

I cannot wrap my head around some of the stuff you say, I don't get it. Your answer is not the answer I wanted. I'm not as wise or conscious as you and all I asked for was someone to point me to a legitmate psychic that I can contact like the other person did. I shouldn't really be posting on the spirituality section if I don't understand stuff I guess.

This is a poor answer, imagine someone pretty much handwaving beliefs, concepts and ideas that are potentially dangerous in your average braindead joe/jane who can't properly handle wild or esoteric concepts like this that may or may not be a load of bull. I didn't see any safety disclaimers in LOA books ive read through If things like redpill can be challenged on this forum why not this?

Even though im not sure if meditation is for me as Leo said something along the lines that consciousness work should ideally start when you have your basic life/needs in order with basic self help or consciousness work won't be efficient. Regardless I'm asking if guided meditation is as efficient as normal meditation.

I understand the dream board substantially better now after re-reading it yet again. I probably need to pick up meditation to let go of resistant thoughts/live in the now.

Re-reading this I think the hard truth is that you probably need some sort of awakening to utilise the law of attraction/dream board you're proposing to people. which is too much to ask for 99.99% of the population including the people you're trying to help. I found this enthusing but also a bit iffy. I've never had an awakening myself but I still think you're not thinking this through enough. I imagine such a power only exists to those who are spiritually gifted, selfless and loving people.

What certain kind of meditation does this?

Are social skills more important than work skills/degrees? because it kind of feels like that more and more. I'm autistic and I find it difficult to wrap my head around getting better at social skills but I think I have improved a bit. Do autistic/socially awkward people just ruin the immersion/atmopshere of the work place even if we are particularly good at doing what were doing? why aren't people just satisfied with seeing a job well done? I have a job by the way.

I need to accept uncertanty and emotional labour to get better. I need high quality resources for how an autistic man can improve his social skills(I don't care about having a romantic partner).

I am a funny looking ugly guy and I can prove it. I have high functioning autism and introverted. I have never had a true friendship, I have 3 siblings who are nothing more than just siblings with no friend like connection. I'm somewhat hyper active and I get distracted a lot even writing this. I failed secondary school(high school) that lessens the chances of me getting a job. I am socially inept and all the jobs require me to be not socially inept. I get made fun of for my appearance sometimes, I stick out like a sore phumb in public. The things I used I enjoy/cope with, are not as enjoyable as they used to be with things like movies, games, books and also feeling insecure about what media im into. I have never had any passions. Comparing myself to this guy in this video who may be weird looking and has a severe physical condition but at least has a neurotypical mind(normal) and has a beautiful meanwhile I get the double whammy of being ugly and autistic. I don't know what to do.
