  1. Trump 2028 life sentences more like
  2. I like white people too, they can walk through walls 👻
  3. He barely talks about it dude
  4. If Jeff Bezos actually cared about “bringing spaceflight to humanity,” he’d offer the seats to librarians, nurses and truck drivers. Not whatever tf this was
  5. Unrelenting force, vision, and commitment to victory. Don’t give fascists an inch. Oppose them at every corner, jump on every chance to undermine them, and take every win you can get. Know that you can win, know that Trumpism can be defeated, and work every day to make that a reality. Know that love will always trump hate.
  6. This is goddamn insane. Truly next-level stuff. I got them from this Reddit thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatGPT/s/nKxqtIYudj What do you think, @Leo Gura?
  7. A nice little musing for people struggling to get out of Stage Orange
  8. How hard is it to fish? We’re not cavemen anymore. Even someone with just your basic high school degree is vastly more educated than a peasant was 200 years ago. With access to cars, technologies, the internet, global shipping etc your average person today can be 100 times more productive in a year than someone born just a few generations ago. We’ve built a society of technological marvels, why not put them to human use?
  9. Green is better for society than Orange because it isn’t greedy as fuck. Green understands no one can build a society on their own, Green understands that different people have different talents (thus not forcing everyone into grindset mode just to survive), Green understands that destroying the environment to improve society is an oxymoron. If we truly want to avoid poverty, climate collapse, WW3, genocides, racism, bigotry, suffering, lost human potential, etc etc etc, the world needs Green. It makes perfect sense. Orange has had its day; it’s time for something better.
  10. I heard petar8p picks his nose and eats it!
  11. I think making them legal in a medical context makes sense; that way you give people access to their therapeutic benefits whilst also not letting some depressed dropout fry his brain with LSD or something.
  12. As funny as it is to dunk on Trump the sad reality is that a lot of regular people are going to be fucked over by this. Expect poverty rates to rise in the coming months.
  13. America already had perfect trade deals with everyone they needed to This is like a farmer threatening to burn 25% of his crops unless people sold him more candles (he doesn’t need candles) It’s pure nonsense
  14. Few people willingly admit this but Trump is basically only in power to maintain white supremacy. His cult would accept hellfire in the streets if it meant white people were the ones controlling the ashes. In many ways the battle for the future of America isn’t purely over economics but the battle between ethno-nationalism vs racial plurality.
  15. This tariff thing cuts to the core of their ideology. Republicans believe in nothing else if not “green line goes up.” Trump so far has been able to get away with some of the worst and most oppressive abuses of power in American history thus far, but so long as the economy had the facade of normalcy his base would support him no matter what. This changes that. The idea that Trump is some sort of economic demi-god who was divinely sent to bring back 1950s prices has been seriously challenged. And if he can be wrong about this, what else can he be wrong about? Look at the response by someone like Benny Johnson online. Suddenly going from “Dems are ruining the economy” to “actually we don’t need money after all” as a way to try and cope with these actions. And as economic instability harms more and more people, I imagine his support will continue to erode. Of course, there will always be those who support him no matter what, and for the time being he still has massive amounts of power, but as he fucks up more and more he’ll paint a bigger and bigger target on his back. Truth eventually cracks through.
  16. Honestly my take on these things is that I’ll never understand why people care so much about society’s opinions. Maybe it’s because I’m a straight male but I feel like even if I was gay, trans, whatever, I’d just accept that and not really care if other people don’t “get it.” It I was born with a penis but then had it removed and filled myself with hormones, I honestly wouldn’t surprise me that most people wouldn’t really know what the fuck I was doing. That’s incredibly fringe behaviour and accepting that you live in a collective context makes life like 97% easier. Of course, if someone was being outright dangerous towards me I’d tell them to fuck off and demand something be done, but at the same time I wouldn’t just focus on that as if that’s all that defined my identity (also risk is an inherent part of life for all humans so there’s that too🤷‍♀️ ) I mean fuck, I know it’s not the same as transgenderism but I sometimes get jealous of drag queens just for how much fucking *fun* they have. Why does everything have to be so goddamn miserable with these people?
  17. Seeking refuge is a human right. Remind asshats of this every time they complain about asylum seekers.
  18. Does this mean Trump supports paid maternity leave? 🤔
  19. Praying for the people of Thailand in this trying time 🙏
  20. It’s King Tut’s man cave
  21. @Leo GuraDo it man!!
  22. @Leo Gura At some point do you think these people will ever realise how fundamentally miserable, broken, sad and lonely people they are? None of them can stand each other. None of them sees any of the others as more than anything but as means to their own ends. Even their own families fucking hate them. Thiel, Bezos, Musk, Trump, Zuckerberg - they’re all so fucking miserable. As much as it annoys me they have all this power, part of me is glad I’ll never end up like that, living a constant, never-ending web of lies and deceptions, chasing the next high. It just sounds awful tbh.
  23. Who the fuck knows. If it suits them they’ll certainly try. But we can fight back, and we can win. There is a growing movement of righteous anger and a dawning realisation among the people that democracy isn’t just something you take for granted, it’s something you have to uphold and work for. There is a growing realisation that democracy truly is the best form of government, and the progress of history requires its expansion, not diminishment. There is a growing realisation that our safe, prosperous societies are only built off common work, which can only be done if the people are free and protected by the people around them. Trump cannot and will not win. The path forward is arduous and difficult to see, but it is one we will walk, and one will overcome. And at the end of it all, the great promise of world history, the great promise of prosperity, community and freedom for all, will finally be achieved. This is our moment.
  24. @aurum this is like a bingo card for people Republicans are caught having sex with
