There's so much more to the forum than the dating section. Why not just visit other parts of the forum? I think people should have their eyes open and realize dating and relationships is not the strong point of this place. There's so much to learn about meditation, non-duality etc

@VeganAwake @The0Self But what do we do if we still have the felt sense of being a body. I feel the tension in the head, my hands etc. Do you two not experience the felt sense of a body anymore?

@Illusory Self I have a similar problem. I've had some success working with a life coach that yells at me and holds me accountable. Try and get a sense of what you want to accomplish so you have an ideal to strive towards. You can also find a therapist/coach to help you develop a vision. I recommend finding someone who hold you accountable and will show some tough love to shake you out of apathy

@Knowledge Hoarder I think many woman expect a man to pay for dates. It can be a red flag if you expect a 50/50 split. I think many men have gendered expectations for woman, so it's only fair that woman have certain expectations on us. We have advantages when it comes to making money and being successful, I think it makes sense to expect men to take on more fiscal responsibilities. It doesn't have to be an expensive date, it's more so about showing generosity and showing you care enough to absorb the cost of meals etc.

Thanks. Yeah, I've realized being transparent and honest is the best approach here. I think woman will actually resonate with transparency because lots of guys think they have to lie to get what they want.

I wonder if anyone has learned anything from my journals. If the rules don't apply until after you flip the cup, then you start upside down with an artificial force keeping the water in the cup, and then because you are upside down when you flip the cup it will flip in the right direction, and the water will never leave the interior of the cup.

Go to the source of consciousness in your experience. Notice right now as you read this, you are conscious. That is the source of peace, go to the experience of being conscious. Hey YOU, you are consciousness. The fact that YOU points to anything means you are conscious as you read this. It's amazing how we always hear about the importance of consciousness, but it takes time for it really sink in.

Nice idea about going to rehab. I've thought about doing something like that as well. I think it lets you form new habits in a highly structured environment. I'm planning on doing a meditation retreat, I think it has a similar effect in breaking bad habits, and laying foundation for form new habits

There doesn't have to be commitment issues in a relationship. You're stating it like it's a fact of reality. A person must be psychology/emotionally ready/willing to enter into a committed relationship. If a person is not ready, it will be almost impossible to form a healthy and satisfying relationship. I think it's also possible to help someone develop, but I think this can only work if the other person is committed to change.

Yes, I would. I think you have to practice some tough love for some people, this guy I'm talking to now yelled at me a few times at the beginning. At first I was not sure about him, but now that I see results I know to just shut up and listen. I think if you come with the intention to genuinely help the person you can do it np. Selfless service. I think you would do a good job. And you would only get better with more practice.

Did you know the reason that there is a stereotype of beautiful russian woman and ugly russian men is because of all the terrible wars Russia has fought over the past few hundred years. So many men died in the wars that there was a shortage of available men, so woman were forced into high competition. The end result was woman who took exceptional care to be as beautiful as possible, and the men could be lazy and unkept and they would still be valued and desired
