  1. @Barbara Hey I once learned from a guy who said this book https://www.amazon.ca/16-Word-Sales-LetterTM-multi-million-dollar-possible/dp/1088742785/ref=sr_1_1?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlaeCzYvw9QIVRW1vBB2ewA-LEAAYASAAEgKvx_D_BwE&hvadid=386471077122&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9001531&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=11220371476457291718&hvtargid=kwd-820539156683&hydadcr=26080_9772485&keywords=the+16+word+sales+letter&qid=1644322756&sr=8-1 Is the most practical book on how to learn copy writing. He told me most resources are very technical and unnecessarily complicated. If you want to learn copy writing I highly recommend that book above.
  2. It would be awesome to see a high conscious emperor again
  3. @catcat69123 What did you do to clear your energy centers?
  4. The stress would probably kill him
  5. I wanted to share a quote I came across from user @pluto a while back. I don't think this person is active anymore but this pointer is quite profound. "Awareness is key... and surrender is the key to awareness" The simplicity of awareness is the goal of many spiritual practice imo. You can essentially rest your mind in the simplicity of awareness. When you surrender the ego's activity awareness becomes primary. Awareness takes no effort, so when you surrender effort all you are left with is awareness. Let me know your thoughts
  6. @bejapuskas I see that now. You can do what you want, it's not my forum, and I'm not a mod. I probably shouldn't of commented anything, this entire thread is ridiculous imo
  7. It's embarrassing that people are getting points for racism on this thread. Mods need to grow up
  8. That makes sense thanks. Yeah psychidelics make surrender much easier and more significant ime. It's like every thought, movement of attention etc has such dramatic effects it's easier to recognize what really reduces suffering and what doesn't.
  9. @undeather What is your take on seemingly wise and conscious individuals choosing to not get vaccinated?
  10. @SOUL That's fair I really don't know either way. So you don't think something like shadow work or energy work is useful for reducing suffering and being more at peace
  11. I wonder why its easiest to surrender on psychidelics, or at least for me right before bed
  12. This is why I like practices like shadow work etc. I think for each person depending on their egoic baggage it's more or less easy to surrender and just abide as awareness. It's why some people love psychidelics because it puts you in a state where it's easier to let go.
  13. Wow cool. So you just realized you could surrender effort? How long were you seeking before that? And was that your last big realization or have you had others
  14. You guys are completely clueless about how people benefit others. I hope everyone realizes the way you ridicule JP you can just as easily ridicule Leo or your favorite teacher from an alternate perspective. I was never a fan of JP, but I had a friend who was inspired to take responsibility and get his life together by listening to JP's lectures. JP really inspired him to make positive changes in his life.
  15. When/How did it happen for you?
  16. @SOUL Ahh. Idk what to do, my instinct is to ask what do I do. But i guess thats the exact trap I'm in
  17. @Lyubov That's interesting, one thing I'm really trying to understand and work through right now is my shame and letting go of strong convictions about right or wrong. And yeah i hear you about psychidelics. I've had incredible trips alone, but I'd say 95% of my trips alone were completely worthless, and the few times I did trips while getting some guidance they were always profound. I haven't done psychidelics in a few months now, but I think trying them with a life coach or meditation teacher could be a really enlightening process. I have some 5 meo malt I'm excited to try. I think I'm at a point where psychidelics can be powerful for me, I'm just hoping Malt suits me better than lsd and shrooms
  18. I came across this reddit article and I'm curious to hear how people on the forum would handle the situation? https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueOffMyChest/comments/sgcmku/theyre_not_my_kids_and_not_my_problem/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share Basically this guys wife cheated on him and so the 2 children from the marriage are not his biological kids and he's going to walk away from the family. My first instinct is to say I'd never get in a relationship with a woman like that, but idk if I could continue parenting and remaining attached to a situation like this. I would hate to continue to be attached to a crazy woman, but I would feel guilty about abandoning the kids for the sins of their mother.
  19. If a person is in new age self help spaces and not receiving much benefit from the mental masturbation that comes along with these spaces, then surrendering to a higher power and really listening and practicing the words of Jesus will be a major improvement
  20. @Tangerinedream Maybe you have an issue with trusting your boyfriend? Why do you think it bothers you that he is being very social with woman? How is your relationship otherwise? Maybe this is the tipping point, or maybe you there are other parts of the relationship that are going very well
  21. @SOUL Hey I get what you're saying I think. It's like when I surrender there may be some genuine surrender of the mind, but then the mind/ego comes in and attempts to try to surrender. Is that accurate? Is this what's preventing true surrender? Because sometimes I feel like I'm genuinely letting go, but others time its really a struggle and I'm not sure how to account for that difference
  22. @Phoenix11 Yeah I find sometimes surrender comes easy and I can really notice the energetic shifts, and other times I really struggle and it seems like I can't surrender even though I think I'm doing the same thing as when the surrender comes easy
