I'm talking about disharmony with your own being, not in regards to subjective social standards. I think living in harmony is known to yourself, but if you're not living in harmony or you have never felt it then you wouldn't know it. I'm not certain though. For example right now I am not living in harmony, so maybe the desire for monogamy is based on disharmony idk

Is it possible the desire for polyamory is rooted in some kind disharmony with your life?

Yeah I could see this working if everyone involved was as conscious as the most conscious people i've ever met. But even then I still would love having a wife and a traditional family. Maybe you mix some poly into that

This seems like it would require everyone to be virtually enlightened. You would need to essentially restructure society and have a system where this equality of access between partners. I don't mind the idea of polyamory if everyone involved was close friends or had a deep connection, but unless everyone was on the same wavelength i could see it getting ugly really quickly. Imagine if you have a poly community with one guy impregnating all the woman and forcing the community to raise virtually a small minority of men's children. I also like the idea of having abundant sexual options, sometimes I see so many attractive woman and it would be great to spend time with a bunch of them. The idea of being forced to commit to one woman is kind of constraining. But at the same time i'd love to find one person who I could form a deep bond with. I think i'd be happy with 1 person because life has so much more to offer aside from just sex

@puporing Do you think people will main partners, or will everyone just be independent and constantly be changing partners? And what about children? How would child rearing work?

I was going to make this as a separate thread, but I think I'm going to stuck to my journal more because Leo is cracking down and I probably should have been banned multiple times already. I think it can be useful if everyone remembers that you are communicating with yourself on the forum. When you give advice, insult, joke with, etc anyone you are speaking to yourself, most of us just aren't aware of it. So we can always reflect on what we're saying and remember you are talking to your self. We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are. If you ever have a heated convo with someone, or insult them, or give them advice etc. Remember you're only talking to yourself

@Someone here Use your social skills to make friends and be very social with everyone, without a specific intent like pickup, etc. Just be social and friendly, and develop a wide network of contacts. If you have a social circle then you will be able to see which woman you attracted to, have chemistry with, etc. This way it's more authentic and harmonious, because walking around with the specific intent of picking up woman without a broader purpose may turn woman off and it will be more difficult for you

@Lyubov I think she felt like you didn't care enough to remember Valentine's day and then wanted to you to over compensate by showing your care and commitment with an extravagant gift. She was likely feeling insecure and uncertain about your feelings

@Gabith I have been addicted to porn (daily use) for years and one thing i've noticed is that when I feel better and happier about life I don't want to watch it. It's not something I force, I just don't have the same desire. I've been having fun listening to music and dancing around my house, and usually I like to jerk off before bed but it seems like if I jerk off it will lower my mood so I don't have a desire to jerk off right now
