@puporing I get violently nauseous and get bad headaches during my trips. If you can relax and feel into the headache with equanimity then it will dissolve. Try inquiring into the root/source of the headache

I never really watched much of H3, but I watched his original video where this woman called in accusing Myron Gains of sexual assault. I'm curious to hear if anyone on this forum was following what happened. This seems like a clear case of slander and using me-too to cancel someone they hate. What is the consequence of using the sexual assault culture to slander and try to destroy someone?

Watch your back. There's no greater insult on the forum then calling Leo a human guy

You're welcome (;

@Vincent S You're a fool. When you develop some genuine insight and wisdom then come back and post. You're welcome

Maybe you can look into some organizations that interest you and email them directly about your interests/situation and see if they can find a job for you. I think it can be hard to find jobs that directly fit your interests, but maybe you can look into how you can create your own job in your own niche. Start from the ground up using first principles

This guy's a fool. Psychidelics can greatly enhance your practice and give you glimpses way beyond your sober level of practice. He clearly has no significant direct experience with psychidelics and yet feels confident in speaking about them as an authority.

Hmm. I think this book is the truth, it's possible this your aversion is based on avoidance. But maybe there are materials that you resonate more with idk. Could be worth investigating why giving off nihilistic vibes is so bad -
Does anyone have pointers on how I can improve my meditation practice? My main practice is notice consciousness and then notice the feelings that come up and then notice the sense of trying to resist or accept the feelings. I've also been trying to watch my own sense of effort and doing, but I don't know if I'm doing it right. One thing that's been happening recently is my brain is incredibly charged, I feel a strong pulsing there when I meditate, it can get a bit dizzying sometime but I take it as a sign of progress. My goal is have similar energetic releases that i've had with lsd in the past. I can already feel the tensions in my body start to unwind, and I can feel certain sensations now that I only ever felt on psychidelics but i'm still struggling to fully let go.

What are the downsides of having the wisest person in humanity at the head of an autocratic government? Do you think this system would be superior to our current democratic forms of government? I was just watching a video where a Canadian MP was talking about the negative impact that corporate investors have had on the affordability of homes for average Canadians, and I was thinking if this guy had authority over housing then that seems like we would have a positive evolution our politics. But this can applied to a broad range issues, there seem to be wise and conscious decisions that would have net positive benefits for most people, at the expense special interest groups with disproportionate power and influence. Let's take Leo as an example. We can all agree he is more conscious than most of society, and so when it comes to something like housing I would bet he would can identify a conscious approach to affordability of housing in Canada. Assuming someone like Leo would accept the responsibility, how is this form of governance not superior to having every citizen vote, when most people don't have the wisdom to understand what there vote means, and how those elected will influence their lives.

Yeah. I do the lessons too, but not every day, but I find the text has a more immediate energetic impact on me. -

There are multiple sections to ACIM. There's a part that's hundreds pages of wisdom and writings on various topics, like ego, healing, etc. And there's a part that has a series of lessons 1-365 that you do each day. The long paragraphs on each topic part I call the wisdom. -

@EternalForest I really like A course in miracles. When I read the words of the wisdom portion I can feel the energy, it has a soothing effect on the tension I feel in my head. It almost immediately shifts your mood in a positive way. -

@Ulax Thanks man. I think I'll try to get into these protectors more during my IFS sessions. After reading your post I remember just thinking about why I don't feel shame or guilt all the time because according to my own belief system I should be feeling guilty and ashamed all the time. Then I just thought there must be a part that protects me from all those feelings, and in that moment I could instantly feel tears come up. So there's definitely something here to explore. I have 2 IFS books that specifically talk about the critic I wonder if going through those books can be enlightening too. I think there are specific parts/protectors that carry a lot of our suffering so finding the big boys and working with them is probably going to lead to really good returns. The parts model is the best explanation i've seen for why some people don't get much out of meditation. If you have a part of your mind that is fighting and resisting all the time and you have no awareness of it, then any meditation you do will just be blocked by the part of your mind that won't let you access and deeper and healing material. -

No it would autocratic rule by truthful and conscious impulse. Sometimes the people's will can implement and sometimes it won't be. It's the will of murderers and rapists to be allowed to murder and rape but everyone agrees curtailing their will makes sense. The same can apply to demographic of people. -

You can give people an outlet to voice their concerns and maintain an autocracy. The autocrat would choose how much say and control the average person has -

Lol Don't answer my thread with tangential bull shit. And then demand answers -

Should people be allowed to murder? -

@Pacific Sage Can you share what about his techniques gets into the moment? And what is the shift like going from wherever you were into the present moment from his meditations? I have always been skeptical about Dispenza because he claims you can heal and manifest, and yet he still has a poor hairline, despite obviously caring about his appearance and hair. You would think if he had the ability and understanding to manifest and heal the body, why not just fix your hair, how hard can that be? -
I thought this was a great video. I wonder if you watched this video and applied the technique while on dmt or malt if that would lead to what Leo calls god realization

Hmm yeah that's a good point. I got in touch with my protector/critic a long time ago, but I haven't gone in depth with my ifs therapist. How do you get in touch with your proctors? And how many do you have and when do you know your in touch with certain ones? -
Raptorsin7 replied to Raptorsin7's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I'm don't know for sure. Part of me thinks they are deeply deluded and not helpful or useful, but also i'm not enlightened and maybe they know something I don't know. But what they are preaching does not coincide with my peak experiences from psychidelics so I am deeply skeptical. -

This is the main issue I have with this kind of teaching. What is your solution or advice to do this? If you don't have any practical advice then your approach is very odd and your reasoning to sharing it makes no sense. It would be like HEY GET ENLIGHTENED. STOP BEING NOT ENLIGHTENED MAN. -
Raptorsin7 replied to Raptorsin7's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is something i don't understand either. I think in Jim Newman and Tony parson's teaching there's an assumption that practice has nothing to do with freedom/enlightenment. Maybe once you're already enlightened there's no reason to practice? So if you really get it then that would be it, but at the same time it doesn't really help anyone else experience what they are experiencing. -

@GreenWoods I notice when I read a course in miracles there is a calming energetic transmission from the words. I watched on those KAP videos but I didn't really feel anything. What is your day to day state of being? I have a lot of tension in the head, it's like a pulsing energy. This is my marker for if something works or not. How do you discern what is effective, and how do you measure your progress?
