Whether it reflects Leo's knowlegde about the topic or ignorance, it's an open question: * crypto is used, for instance, as a means to exchange cash for fiat, and vise versa, in order to bypass expensive, scrutinysome and slow international transfers * crypto is used in the countries under the sanctions that Leo's own country tends to impose "to support demoncrasy" to attempt to cause a revolt * crypto can be used to preserve one's money in the countries with high inflation rate * crypto isn't controlled by anyone What will a freelancer from Iran, for instance, use to receive to a payment from an employers from a 1st world country? He could use a bank or a payment system, if he's able to open an account. But the most cheap and fast way, without any fuckingly stupid KYC will be crypto. Leo, or whoever has drawn this picture, isn't only capable of spreading conspirasy theories, sometimes, but in a smart way: - pretend that you're against conspirasy theories - perhaps even be against it in reallity - AND, whenever you want to, inject some conroversial seeds into your narrative -- the seeds which you WANT everyone to believe to be misinformation For if almost everything in your story is deemed correct, then those controversial seeds, mixed in with, would by extension become believable as well -- as misinformation or conspiracy theories, or not, depending on where you'd place them in this pyramid.

Why would the collective West - US, EU, UK ... not sensor those who claim that the Earth is flat? But they'll gladly, whenever the stakes are high, censor certain people -- the ones who go and speak against the herd -- and almost any news that come certain countries that they don't like? "Ohhhhh, I see. This is propaganda from X again. Why would you even read it?" Or "Let's finally shut it down. More over, let's counterfight it by creating "fact-checks". But those "fact check" websites are nothing but pure disinformation itself. Therefore, can it be that what's censored is not a lie? But the truth? Or least, partially? If Leo, however, had known that there's a 8-year old history of it, as well as had applied system thinking by following the chains of events back to 2014, when a US-induced and sponsored "democrasy" revolution, or rather a US-puppet and anti-russian government, came into power in Ukraine, Leo probably would've called this conflict "Biden's stupid war", or "yet another US stupid war" instead.
