Sales is absolutely crucial to learn. No matter your skill level or talent in a certain field, if you cannot sell it for money it will not serve you.

Hey, don't give up! First, identify why you are suffering so much and then work towards resolving those issues. Keep your meditiation practice going during this period. Only after you have worked through these issues heavily, then I would suggest truly looking into serious Enlightenment work. I wouldn't go into this work with the sole agenda of "feeling complete." At the purest level; yes. But start by building self-confidence, getting your relationships in order, ending toxic relationships, becoming financially stable... Whatever issues you are facing (stage orange values) fix those first and foremost. Your inner voice is only tormenting because you see it as such. Don't fight with yourself all the time. Start loving that voice. -
You taught me the courage of stars before you left How light carries on endlessly, even after death With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite How rare and beautiful it is to even exist I couldn't help but ask For you to say it all again I tried to write it down But I could never find a pen I'd give anything to hear You say it one more time That the universe was made Just to be seen by my eyes I couldn't help but ask For you to say it all again I tried to write it down But I could never find a pen I'd give anything to hear You say it one more time That the universe was made Just to be seen by my eyes With shortness of breath, I'll explain the infinite How rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist

While this is highly specific to the certain stage that you are trying to transcend or advance in, there are a couple of things which are generally good to do when trying to advance to a next stage: Research your current stage and what valuable insights you are yet to integrate from this stage. Do this first. Research the next stage very thoroughly. Integrate specific actions/habits into your life and see how it goes. Contemplate your belief system and world view to see where you feel resistence. If you are a blue person who is not yet ready to let go of her Christian beliefs, for example, you are not ready yet to fully advance to stage orange or beyond. Stay extremely open-minded and question your own beliefs and reasoning constantly. It is all of this and much more. Leo has a lot of videos on spiral dynamics. If you watch all those with genuine intention to learn, you will definitely understand the basics of this model.

I personally do not read ficiton books, I believe you can perfectly do this work without reading a single fiction book or novel. That being said, I do believe these kind of books can bring inspiration or improve creativity or even teach you lessons about life. That is if it is a high quality book. If you don't like reading fiction, just don't do it.

The video you are refering to is meant for slightly more advanced practitioners of meditation. The one I linked here is for actual beginners. I suggest you watch this one and start from there. -
Having a great vision or sense of life-purpose is not necessarily something that you find extremely exciting or motivating to undertake RIGHT NOW. Oftentimes, these things have to grow on you. The best advice I can give you is to do the following two things: Turn within and ask yourself what you really like doing, what you would really want to do in life if money or circumstances were not an issue. Then, go out there and try some things. Experiment with a few different hobbies, workshops, events, experiences, travel... A life-purpose can literally be anything: Being a great artist/producer/creator, helping other people/animals/ecosystems, being a great chef, lawyer, policeman, coach, teacher, meditator... Also, make sure not to misunderstand ego-backlashes: You will not prevent those from happening simply by having a sense of life-purpose. In fact; the more you work towards your life-purpose, the more you will experience backlashes because you are improving yourself and the ego does not like that. Anyone who is trying to better their life will experience them in some form or another. Be mindful when you are going through a rut and be loving towards yourself.

Take this opportunity to focus on your own growth by applying the principles explained in previous videos, instead of eagerly awaiting new content to consume, that is most likely what Leo is doing, too!

I am a 21 year old male from Europe, Belgium. My current life project is to combine my life-purpose with attaining financial freedom by becoming an online dating coach. After a good couple of months of contemplation, strategizing, learning and researching, I feel like I am almost ready to start attracting clients. The only problem is; I don't have a business yet... Well, I don't have an officialy registered business yet. I don't know anyone in my personal life who has their own business. I have searched the internet thoroughly, trying to figure out how to handle the legal side of running an online coaching business, but I can't seem to find a clear explanation on the following: Where do I go to if I want to start a business? This might be a really stupid question but I literally have no idea. Can I do this completely online? Does this cost a lot of money? In terms of taxation: How do I know how much taxes I have to pay as an online coach? I mean, I would go ask another online coach in Belgium but I haven't come across any so far. Would I only have to pay taxes on my income? Or is there a certain amount I have to pay each year/month simply for being self-imployed and owning a business? Liability: Can I just have clients sign a self-made form in which I distance myself from any legal responsibility? Can I record my coaching sessions? Should I? If so, should this also be included in the form I would have my clients sign? How do I get a client to sign a form through the internet? It says here that any business needs a physical address that is not your private home, yet as an online coach I don't want to pay for an office, of course. Is there any way around that? Would it be interesting to move to a country with lower taxes on income? Would I actually have to move and live there or just have my business registered there? Can I register a business in a foreign country if I'm not a resident of said country? I understand that these sorts of things are going to differ heavily from country to country, but even for you Americans or otherwise on here: Any ideas on where to turn to for help? I find it weird that none of the answers to these questions seem to be easily accesible online. Or perhaps I am not that good at researching after all. Lots of (noobie) questions, but these are what are currently holding me back from actually starting to actualize this exciting goal of mine, so any input at all would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Tl;dr: Am stuck on the legal side of starting my business. Would GREATLY appreciate some help.

While it's certainly possible that girls can get attracted to you because of the reason(s) you mentioned, if you want to attract girls you might as well learn attraction directly.

Thanks so much for your response. I have coached only one client so far, whom I charged half of what I'm planning to charge future clients once I consider myself more experienced. Thanks for your perspective, that does ease my mind indeed.

@Burstyourbubble Allow for the possibility that your limiting beliefs will not get you to what you are looking to figure out here. We are talking about the very nature of anything at all! It wouldn't make sense for this to have a simple explanation. Consider going deeper into the actual work, rather than reasoning about it logically. -

Interesting, thanks for sharing! -
Remember, those negative things coming up only means that you are healing yourself. It is not something to fear, but to be embraced. Good luck on your meditation journey.

Be gentle and loving towards yourself; Do not blame yourself for not following that routine. Instead, slowly build up towards that spiral of positive momentum again, and you will soon realize that a life full of self-imposed challenges (like your morning routine) is a good life. Don't be discouraged!

In the Netflix show "explained", in the episode of season 1 called "Can we live forever?", some scientists contemplate the possibility of not only extending human individual lives, but even going as far as making them live forever through the use of future technology. They want to manipulate the aging process to have the current "set" of humans live forever. When I watched this I was like: "And then what?" My jaw dropped at their ignorance when I watched this what Leo would call devilry. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I cannot fathom how serious scientists could be so incredibly ignorant as to believe that something like this is not only possible, but that it would be beneficial to the human race and Reality. This is truly the pinnacle of egotism and stage orange disfunction. My point is: I don't quite understand how people, throughout human history, across all possible cultures and time frames, have come to realize the highest wisdom about live and have found God, but then here we are in the 21st century spending time, energy and resources on funding devilry like this. Why is it that the Truth is only ever discovered at the individual level, but that it never percolates through to whole communities/societies? I guess these folks should wear a wristband for a week and surrender to the impermanence that is Reality.

I wouldn't usually recommend watching Joe Rogan podcasts as I don't find them very valuable most of the time, however I was really curious to see what Bernie Sanders would share with Joe's audience. I am not disappointed. I must say Bernie Sanders truly understands the (most urgent) problems America is facing today, and I find his agenda and solutions to these problems mostly very valid. What I found remarkable is the parrallels I was able to draw between the concept of conscious politics and the reforming of current politics Leo proposes in his latest videos and the agenda of Bernie Sanders. They both advocate similar changes in similar areas, such as: * Healthcare (loved his criticism of pharmaceutical companies and lobbying) * Education * Climate change * ... The main difference I would say between Bernie and Leo is Leo's ability to go 'meta' and his understanding of consciousness and spirituality as a vital factor for the future of mankind. I am curious, where would you guys position Sanders on the color scale of Spiral Dynamics? If Trump is what was needed as a collective ego backlash to now get a more conscious president in office I guess you american folks can live with that, no? I for one hope he makes it.

An interesting conversation between Joe Rogan and Dan Bilzerian on the topic of happiness. These two men very clearly approach happiness from spiral dynamics stage orange and from the materialst paradigm. Start watching from 2:31:40 and notice how both men sort of understand that chasing material possessions does not make one happy, yet they can't quite grasp why that is and what a fulfilling alternative might be. An especially enlightening comment on the ignorance of the materialist paradigm is made by Joe Rogan (2:37:03) where he says he once tried to convince a monk that his rejection of hedonism is wrong because he simply didn't have enough materialistic possessions. IF ONLY the monk would have as much money as Dan Bilzerian, for instance, he would realize that money can make you happy, or so Rogans' reasoning goes. By the way, around 2:45:00, the men briefly touch on the topic of psychedelics. Bilzerian seems to only use them for recreational purposes, though.
