  1. @Phil How does it feel to "write" your life, instead of reading it ? I mean, in your awareness, could you describe ? I ask because I try to "feel" it, when my consciousness is "writing" instead of being driven unconsciously, it's hard to describe, but to me it feel like a lucid dream. What do you think ? When we focus on something in waking-state it takes years to be attracted, but in dreams it's almost instantaneous, because there is no physical-limitation, and everything can be transformed in seconds. (By writing these words, I feel like "out of body" it's strange^^)
  2. Day 5 : It seems time/space (or amount of time) between meditation sessions is shorter, so that it's just a continuous meditation. Even if I meditate just 45 min a day.
  3. Day 4 : Today meditation gone well. I was in a train, I missed the end of the timer, so I meditated until the train arrive (+15 minutes than usual). Well, dunno what else to say, except that I notice more stillness in my mind maybe, and observe the rest of my day as if it would be a dream. It's funny because "trains" are usually one of my dream-sign, for quest of lucidity in lucid dreaming, but I didn't performed reality check, maybe because I was in the "mood" of meditation already.
  4. Day 3 : I've noticed different "qualities" of meditation, I've been the observer, then observing the observer, then get lost in thoughts... I got music stuck in my head, so I decided to focus on it (still, it makes the mind quiet).
  5. It should be possible to travel/actualize/teleport through various alternate realities^^
  6. Day 2 : today the meditation was painful, in the body and emotionally. My body wanted to move. The 45 minutes seemed shorter this time.
  7. I wanted to share a video, but it's non-english and there are no subtitles available. Still, it could benefit to some people who speak the same language. We could share non-english material here, and specify the languages so that we could easily browse the thread. Write a short english summary if you want to.
  8. Day 1 : things gone well. After few minutes I felt more relax. I noticed my mind bouncing from here to here many times, I got lost in thoughts... but my body was still. See you, next time.
  9. For me, intuition comes when my mind is still, and when it appear, it's like crystal clear, with no doubt. It's difficult to know what's authentic in us, because what we think as "authentic" may just be a layer, which resonate with inner motivations, which are unknown to the conscious mind. "Follow your bliss" it's a very personal thing, only you can know, and requires years of research/evolving. I hope to drill into the superficial levels, and find the true reasons for my passions. Leo said once "everything you do in life, is a quest for awareness" maybe it means that we need to experience things first, to step back and growth from that. Ra (in Ra's material) call it "polarization" which I think is interesting). Then, it would be possible to reach awareness without experiencing Samsara at it's peaks, and take the shortcut thought meditation, or experiencing stuff in full awareness, so that the pain dissolve as it is occurring... Back to topic : you have to try it, to know if that's authentic, and you'll figure out on the path (+meditation practice). Personally, I see 2 kinds of intuition, the psychological one (subconscious, neurons...) and the esoteric one (synchronicity, deep meaning, dreams...) I think it's 2 aspects of the same thing, but I don't understand yet the connection between neurons and "infinite" consciousness.
  10. @Kaity My assumption is that you can't die from SP, because you'r body is safe and alive. I've heard of people who have recurring sleep paralysis every night, and get afraid of this. Is it the case for you ? Did you asked to your subconscious, in a lucid dream, why this ?
  11. Having a journal is great, it's inspiring, I'll do the same! Would it be possible to have email notifications ?
  12. @Old Soul don't attempt this when you go to sleep at night, instead, set an alarm after 5 or 6 hours of sleep, then meditate for 20-30 minutes, and go for a morning nap (when it's still the night time). Control your breath like this : inhale deeply and slowly, hold your breath for 3 or 4 seconds, and exhale slowly, consciously, trying not to fell asleep, but to "notice" when your brain go in sleep mode. At this point, don't try to "check" if you'r in sleep paralysis, by moving or so, because it's better to don't know (it may afraid your brain, and it have strange reactions, like creating illusions to justify the sensation of being paralyzed). In case you want to stop sleep paralysis, just hold your breath for 2 seconds and you'r body will awoken. So just rest still, you'll maybe notice sounds or sensations in the body, sometimes a voice or an huge sound. The trick here is to remain alert enough so that you'r still aware of yourself, but don't stick with it too much or your mind won't allow you to fall asleep, it's a balance (consciousness is outside of the brain). When you feel you'r body is "slipping" it means a lucid dream (WILD) is coming, and you'll have to wait until the next REM stage of your sleep, then a dream will appear (for me, it look like fractal noise transition). Once you'r in a dream, if you have your body, rub your hands, or turn 360 degrees, which help stabilizing the dream (you can influence and choose the content of the dream while falling asleep, but your subconscious mind will always find something interesting, often related to your deep motivations, at least for WILD. MILD dreams are more random, and the plot is already set when you arrive). I can't tell for astral projection, I haven't done it consciously.
  13. I've done the life purpose course once, but I did it within the prism of music (because I knew it was what I wanted to do). I'll do the course a second time, but without any preconception. My values will change at bit, but it's essentially the same : 1. beauty (arts) 2. consciousness/awareness (being) 3. elegance/simplicity (the way of doing it) My truest life purpose would be like just "being" and by the way injecting it into music. My strengths are appreciation of beauty & hope. I'm in my zone of genius when I work on several fronts at the same time, so that my mind is distracted by several things, and I switch from one to another, and the work become automatic/subconscious. I've noticed that while cooking, and it applies to decisions/projects, when I'm stuck, I do something else, and when I'm back, the solution is clear. The "something else" can be related to the same work/project, but from a different angle. I took drums lessons from 6 to 15, then switched to electronic music, which I think I have spent 5000 hours in my DAW over the last 6 years (like kung-fu master, working the same side-kick over and over). Also, I see the work which had been accomplished by artists I like, emotionally and technically. My main weakness is not "fear" but "habits" (I'm experimenting several things, to work with my subconscious). @Leo Gura what about the new subconscious-tips you talked about ? does it applies to life-purpose course ? I've failed, here is my post-mortem conclusion (I growth from this fail) : Paralyzed by analysis / lack of action & loosing side of my vision. I'm still on track.
  14. Life is like climbing a rope, we have two arms, we have to use both to level up. If you are stuck, it is probably because you are using one arm only to climb the rope. Which means, we have to alternate between opposite forces/aspirations/modes, to make a progress.
  15. "Wear comfortable shoes" Dino De Laurentiis
  16. @Ray I mean, sure the subconscious is affected by video games.
  17. It seems like, yes. I like this quote from Nile Rodgers, at 0:52 "spiritual, primal, intellectual and physical levels"
  18. The contemplation of silence is important, but we'r designed to be social creatures.
  19. I wondered the same questions when I bought "Agony" on kickstarter^^. The subconscious do not know that it is a game/movie but just pick the mood of it, IMO. Drama in theater is known to help people express theirs feelings with mirror neurons, which is "catharsis", may help with the polarization of psyche. I know someone very "competitive" and he plays only "beat them all" & "shoot them up" 2D scroll games with many enemies. This makes me think that he like to "fight against others, or various problems in life". This reflect in his work/personality, he's very sociable and effective at bursting every kind of little problems in a project/team work. Since I'm not an AAA gamer, I prefer things such as "Proteus" or "Space Engine" without enemies or goals.
  20. Exactly... I'm currently watching it "A Rant Against Naive Realism - Reality Is NOT Physical!" Usually I don't post comments until the end of the video, but I'm so exited by this one, and this topic in general...
