  1. Insight from Christophe Allain : If we are able to create video games and VR, it's because humanity start to understand reality. Franck Lopvet : "Living life is enough, in itself it is a solution to life".
  2. The "image" of him you admire is maybe just a projection, not the "real" Rem Koolhaas. That would mean the person you admire is part of who you are already.
  3. My current mood seems to change the results a little bit. I would do this test once a month for 12 months, or once a year for 10 years, then make an average to be more precise. It depend on periods of life... I tried different "modes" in the past. I sometimes need to "reboot/refresh" to evolve (sagittarius here). My results (I took the liberty to correct some points in red) : - - - - - - - - “you in a nutshell” cognitive : pragmatic organizational : balanced energy : ambiverted stress management : responsive interpersonal : collaborative - - - - - - - - “openness” imagination : low artistic interests : average high emotionality : average adventurousness : high intellectual interests : high average liberalism : high “conscientiousness” self efficacy : average orderliness : high dutifulness : low achievement striving : average cautiousness : average “extraversion” friendliness : low gregariousness : average assertiveness : average activity level : high excitement seeking : average cheerfulness : average “neuroticism” anxiety : average anger : low depression : average self-consciousness : average immoderation : high vulnerability : average “agreeableness” trust : average honesty : low (i need to recognize that i’m not honest with myself) altruism : low (i think helping is evil) cooperation : high modesty : average sympathy : average
  4. I have just discovered this channel : "Abraham-Hicks Foundation" https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMOQNuUFc5c7QYRTRXo9sHQ/videos
  5. What is S.D.S ? Sound like a form of meditation ?
  6. I like exploration games, without enemies or goals. "Proteus" is fine, if you don't have nature around. Actually walking in nature is a more detailed experience. I'm a big fan on Defrag for Q3, I have a side project based on quakespasm engine with a similar gameplay, but it's not my priority now. Gaming is to me a childhood nostalgia now, that I want to keep alive to remember some of my past (it can be a movie, a music or an historical period/event). Nostalgia is a quite powerful tool for brain plasticity. It seems the memory and neurons needs an existing structure before creating a new life. Emotions act like a catalyzer.
  7. I forgive myself for having made this day exhausting. I accept it, totally.
  8. Could we say that the "external" world we live in, is symbolically attached to "mother" or "the matrice" ? Does it have to do with parts of the body ? I've heard that the coronal chakra (top of the head) is associated with "father" while the solar plexus chakra (stomach) is "mother" & "heart" chakra is where we are / where we transcend humanity. Source : Christophe Allain (I haven't found the interview, it's from my memory).
  9. An article on brain chemistry & music (workout also involve dopamine) : http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/science/2014/08/musical_nostalgia_the_psychology_and_neuroscience_for_song_preference_and.html
  10. Yes, and those aliens are simultaneous versions of ourselves. @Visitor has suggested the interdimensional thing, I think it's something to think twice about. I recently came across Dolores Cannon's books, which look like another web of belief / paradigm, but very practical hypnosis work.
  11. @crazycrazycrazy haha sorry its a super inside joke i have with myself keep talking
  12. Have you seen this movie?
  13. Taking 100% responsibility on a quantum level, I wonder what would happen I tried few times to "embody" reality as an entire creation of the mind, which is exhausting. It ended with positive results, it seems.
  14. “I can tell you everything you need to know in one word : STORY” - Hans Zimmer Hayao Miyazaki is an huge fan of dreams, may you'd like to study symbols and their meanings in collective scheme, and have lucid dreams to take inspiration from (at least a dream journal). Animation is great when it's used in a way that it couldn't be with real characters / sets and green screens. "Waking Life" by Richard Linklater blurs the distinction between reality and dreams (as well in "A Scanner Darkly"). Also, check the movie "Paprika" by Satoshi Kon.
  15. This video helped me a lot with boosting my meditation practice. Thanks Leo for being an adventurer and sharing your experience.
  16. Falling asleep while remaining totally conscious (during a nap). You can do this eyes open or closed, laying back on bed.
  17. Today I had a scolecite in my pocket, it made me kind of airy dreamy mood. When I wear red tourmaline my heart beat goes harder and faster. Turquoise make me talk a lot. When I sleep with black obsidian next my pillow, I do nightmares : it shows you the darkest spots of your psyche. It goes experimental, some crystals may work for you and some may not.
  18. @jse@BeginnerActualizer Well it's not art in a sense that it's my life-purpose, but more like an healthy hobby I had last year. May farming will turn into a life-purpose, but I'm not sure^^. Still, I'm thinking about doing some wwoofing in Australia/NZ.
  19. I wonder if boiling water kills vitamins or not. Why not raw ? (except for vegetables which must be cooked : steamed). Also, I wonder if there is an etheric, or "energetic" value to alive food, since everything is information (like colors, for example).
  20. @Martin123 Off topic but yeah. it's by Matt Zeilinger.
