They all seem to point to the Oneness/Awareness/Enlightenment part of reality but none of them, at least that I’ve read, really go into the “illusion” how it works, why it’s this way, how it comes to be, how it’s formed, the reason for it, the depths of it, understanding it. They all seem to just obsess over awakening. Which is great, but I don’t think Being is stupid, why don’t we also address the Illusion and the human and the ego? There must be a reason for all this even if it is ultimately Nothing

It’s funny how people just ride the wave of whatever Leo is saying haha. The best example of this is the whole Solopsism fiasco. Leo claimed that no one else had a conscious expereince and everyone flipped out and got depressed because they believed him. They even started a thread for dealing with the depression of being the only real person in expereince! 😂 How ironic! You need fake versions of yourself to make you feel better about being the only real person hahaha The stupidity! It’s mind blowing 😂 Consciousness can be developed and grown. The problem is people are just too lazy to do what it takes.

Hey brother it sounds like you are on the right track actually. Having some confusion or uncertainty is normal. It seems like you do have that spiritual longing and it’s something you would need incorporated into your life to feel satisfied. Maybe now you are older and more mature/ready for it than when you were 18. Doesn’t mean you have to quit your job but maybe take up a meditation or yoga practice and find some spiritual community around you. I’m sure there are lots in Spain. Places where you can do ecstatic dance, yoga, etc and meet other spiritual people. As for the anxiety, spending time in nature and cutting out toxic habits is very effective. Also a therapist if it’s really bad That’s just the vibe I’m getting from this post. Hope it helps

No. Those are all the church and religion that skewed his original teachings, so seem rooted in duality and ego. That’s not what the actual person, Jesus Christ, was teaching. They skewed it for their own gain. Check it out; Google “Non dual teachings of Jesus, there’s also “The Lost Years of Jesus” a book about this as well

Honestly it feels like you guys are a bit lost in reactivity (possible at other people spiritual egos) but making a crusade against non duality is unwise. Non duality is the truth of reality, Christ was a non dualist, Buddha was a non dualist, are these people just ignorant rats? Be careful of your own grandiosity

I’m genuinely curious. How is non duality brainwashing? Are you sure you’re not mixing up the teachers and their students and their monkey games with the truth of non duality? Are Ramana Maharishi, Peter Ralston, and Martin Ball all brainwashing non dual rats?

@Leo Gura I think a flaw in your theory here is the component of Spiritual Development and Grace. I believe that with practice and proper study and teaching, most people can have awakenings. It’s more that they aren’t really interested in it and definitely unwilling to do that tedious meditative work. I would not have discovered my spiritual gifts if I never took a leap of faith and began practicing. And just said “oh it’s all genetics I’m not born enlightened so fuck it.” You see what I’m saying here? Even Ralston had to work his ass off and contemplation like crazy, Ramana spent 15 years cultivating after his initial awakening

I’ve finished about 30% of the book list. Some books, like Ralston, I’ve read multiple times. One thing I’ve noticed about Leos list of books is that almost all of them, even stuff around Life Purpose are rooted in Realization, The Self and have a Spiritual component. It’s utterly profound. I’m always amazed when I’m reading a book on Shadow Work or Life Purpose from the list when all the sudden it spins off into a rant of Consciousness of Oneness, Universal Love or Selflessness. Wow. Leo, I don’t know how you found all these books so quickly. It will take me another 5-10 years to finish them all (I read slowly and really soak in the understanding, I’d rather read one book in a year and really get it, then speed through 10) I have to attribute it to your hard work and also a component of Grace in finding these books. Also, the term “spiritual rat” is making less sense to me although I’m grasping what you’re pointing at, why not say “baby Jedis” or “baby Gods” Anyway. Much love
