  1. This is why I think things need to take place slowly and not too fast. Too fast and orange takes over. Or worse, blue makes you suffer for it. Or worse yet, red kills everyone in it.
  2. Interesting....This reminds me of how regard our forefathers here in the U.S. They were ahead of their time in that generation yet all we see of them now is that they were slave owners.
  3. I see most large cities incorporating the socialist platforms and I don't see it working. Do you think a form of this would work if it was done on a voluntary basis and not forced?
  4. I found that Alaska has the lowest fuel tax, in fact, it is half of what we pay here in Wisconsin. However, fuel prices are higher in Alaska. Sounds to me like the people, not corporations are paying for this.
  5. @RichardY Do you at least think it is a good place to start BI?
  6. I like the idea that it starts with a state and not the whole nation.
  7. I'm sure you know that people own corporations. Millions of people own these corporations. perhaps we should have BI at 60K per family annually. I think you know what would happen then. Starts with ourselves....... I have been involved in this world, and this life, for over five decades, and the world has been ending for centuries. Things will happen on God's time frame, not ours. If we think it has to happen now, we are all doomed. Doomed without knowing serenity is an unfortunate waste of life.
  8. Reading this confused me as to the word 'she'. It dawned on me that you may have gotten this from my profile. I don't recall the gender question when I signed in, but I corrected it. I apologize to you and everyone on this site. I meant no deception and yes, I am a male.
  9. Now this is good. Keep it within the states. I like how they are capitalizing on there own resources.
  10. I recall him saying what I said earlier in a debate replying to Bill Clinton. Although, I was only 25 years old and perhaps hearing what I wanted to at that time in my life.
  11. I am trying to discuss this in a serious matter. It is difficult for me to take this article seriously since it is written by an intern from San Francisco, and the it is about Iran.......really. How much truth do you think the Iranians gave this kid. Furthermore, is this a country you would want to emulate? Not me...
  12. And where are they doing this?
  13. As I stated prior, I don't care about after market bump stocks, make them illegal. The reason he needed all the guns is because AR's are not military rifles and cannot handle the amount of heat created by shooting it as if it were fully automatic. The guns jammed due to the heat and he would need to grab another rifle. How many lives would have been saved if bump stocks were illegal. I think this guy having all these weapons was definitely a lack of care on the part of FFL dealers as well as others. The ATF or FBI should have been tipped off about him.
  14. @Serotoninluv People have the power. They just don't know how to use it. I see people complain and complain about those evil corporations, yet the majority of the complainers are still buying their products and own stocks in them. Yes, their are many thugs in the corporate world, but there are thugs all around us. Most likely they are not truly happy and that is where we can be an example and show them a way. Controlling others has never brought happiness but controlling ourselves may. Most likely, if any of this does take place, it won't happen in our lifetime so for now, do what you can and help out.......one person at a time. @Revolutionary Think So you think that I am stuck.....I am open to many ideas. the fact that I don't think like you or many who agree with you does not mean that I am stuck. Show me an example of things I have said which makes you say that. A great man once said, "shhhhhh.......here that sucking sound? That's the government sucking your money out of your bank account".
  15. It doesn't sound like government is doing a good job with this. But then, where does government do good for the people? The answer to a problem is not to add more of the same thing. The CEO will just raise the prices, thus taking my money. I know, you will put safety net in their for me, but I don't trust the government to either write it up correctly or implement it.
  16. I don't recall anywhere in the bible where Jesus complained about being poor and uneducated. I think it may be a hope for more freedom. People don't want to be forced onto or into things by politicians in Washington D.C. They would rather be lead by people in their own State. I think many of the pro Trump people want State rites to come back to them.
  17. Their is a 3-day waiting period now. What about the girl who just broke up with her crazy boyfriend, would she need to wait a week, or will a restraining order during this time? Another tough one. Who will make the many variable rules? Remember the MEGA hats and the Pink shirts. No way are the majority of Americans supporting "All of this." Ok then, pick out a past mass shooter and tell me which law you would put in place that would have prevented it from happening. I like the discussion.
  18. What do you consider high? I would consider a 30 round high. I would be okay with a permit for this. I know people who have these and although they can be fun, they are not effectively accurate. Without a high capacity magazine useless so I don't mind either way. Body armor is good when in competitions so I would be okay with a permit. Armor piercing is unnecessary so I'm okay with the ban. Tough one here. You could probably have a topic on this one alone. Would people with MEGA hats or Pink shirts be banned? Most people who own guns legally are trained. I was trained when I 12 years old. Many of the mass shooters have not been trained, and I doubt they would be. Why? Do people in the cities freak out LOL. Why? I'm sure the other guy doesn't have a lock on his gun LOL. I think people need to have common sense if they own a gun. Okay, people should be a responsible gun owner. Like I said before, there is an amazing number of unregistered guns out there. Yes, people who have arsenals should be permitted to certain limits.
  19. This is the basis of why people don't want to register their guns. No country has ever said, 'We need to register all the guns so we can ban the ones we don't like'. All new gun purchases are registered. Young teens cannot legally purchase a gun. People who purchase a significant amount of guns and ammunition should be red flagged by the store owner and the ATF should be notified. I know this doesn't happen like it should but in most cases there are warning signs which people ignore. Again, I'm not sure why they call it the 'Gun Show Loophole' because anyone can make a private sale of a gun. I can purchase a registered or non-registered gun, gift it to a relative, friend, or stranger and their you go, a gun which not registered to anyone. Their are 100's of millions of unregistered guns in the U.S.
  20. @Revolutionary Think Feeding the beast will only make it settle in even more. We need to become more collectively conscious, and although helping people is great, helping ourselves is where it starts. If it starts with force, it will end with tyranny. If it starts with Love, it will end with knowing God.
  21. People are helping, just not near as much as years ago. I think it's a multitude of reasons. One being, people have less time because they have to work more for less money due to governments taking there 40%. I think people spend more money on vacations and material things. People are more selfish and I think government plays a role in this, because they think helping people is the role of government. @Revolutionary Think Do you fall into the category of, "It's the governments role"?
  22. @Revolutionary Think I can empathize with this, my mother has MS. So government has fudged things up again, and the answer is more government? People in need like this, were helped many years ago by other people. Whether it was church communities, private organizations, or individuals. I think this was a more efficient, cost effective, and less corrupt way of doing things. In my experience helping others also helps us have serenity in life, and isn't that part of consciousness? For instance, AA was formed by two men and their wives with no help from government. It has helped a billion people since it's conception and nobody was forced to give them anything. People helping people, How beautiful is that..... Giving individuals 10 grand a year will cost the tax payers 16 grand per person through the government. Not efficient, never has been, never will.
  23. Still not sure what they mean by gun show loop holes. Anyone with an FFL license does a back ground check on every gun sale, does not matter if it is at a gun show, a store, or private. I think this term was made up because it sounds like it means something but it really means absolutely nothing.
  24. Well, now we're talking....I would like to take each item up separately so we don't get into generalizations. This will require everyone to register the guns they own. Of course this will make many decent people become felons because they will refuse to register them. This has been done in the past and the next step would be to ban one type of gun at a time until all the guns are gone, well, except for the guns that aren't registered. Also, there will still be millions of unregistered guns which are owned be the thugs. Now the only people who would have guns are the thugs and the smart ones who hide them. This will not work in the U.S.
  25. Okay, I think I understand.....so what I see as earn is basically what the teenagers see as earn. Got it. With that being said along with the bank CEO you would advocate taking money from me, which I earned (The way I see it) and passing it off to everyone who is a citizen of the U.S. or do they need to be a citizen?
