  1. In this video A Course in Miracles expert David Hoffmeister talks about all kinds of topics from an ACIM perspective. Again, I found that David has a hardcore take on ACIM. Excellent!
  2. By making my concept of consciousness compatible with Advaita it also becomes compatible with Leo's explanations of infinity as I understand them. That's useful as long as I keep my model consistent. And from a practical viewpoint consciousness as the infinite makes it clear that it's beyond mere concepts. Consciousness itself, that which the word 'consciousness' points to, is not a concept. That can be directly verified in our own experience. Consciousness is the awareness of things (concepts) while things are not aware of consciousness.
  3. In Advaita consciousness is the same as Brahman. In my model consciousness is a feedback loop as a part of Brahman. But I can make my model compatible with Advaita by saying that consciousness still exists in deep dreamless sleep. In deep dreamless sleep consciousness is aware of zero things. Even in the waking state there are many things consciousness is unaware of in our experience. So if I allow consciousness to be aware of zero objects, then my definition is compatible with Advaita. That's useful since it makes it harder to use homemade concepts that are different than established traditional concepts.
  4. An Advaita expert said that infinite is one. That seems correct to me. There can be different infinities as concepts. For example George Cantor defined all kinds of infinities in mathematics. That's fine. But the actual infinity is not some mere concept. Actual infinity described is more like Cantor's concept of absolute infinity. Does Indra's net correctly describe the one infinity? Yes, I think so! Indra's net can be represented as a circle of points where all points are connected to each other. There is no more infinite than that! Because more points can always be added between each other. It's similar to the concept of the continuum in mathematics.
  5. Wait a minute! What if the nonduality teachers are WRONG? The idea of nonduality seems correct to me, but the claim that the individual doesn't get liberated or enlightened might be a false perspective. Because consider integral transcend and include. Then the individual self gets included even in spiritual enlightenment. And I got an insight of how it might work. Just like how we can take a conscious breath it's I propose possible to from a liberated state to consciously take an individual perspective. And when doing so there is an individual self. Not as a separate entity but still as an experienced process. So I will experiment with consciously shifting perspectives. And this I think is possible even with reality being deterministic. If I choose to take a conscious breath for example that's a different experience than when my breathing goes on subconsciously. And that difference is still there even in a deterministic scenario.
  6. Notice that our personal free will is the same as God's will. Even in ego consciousness. Because as ACIM says, there is only God's will. So in theory it's super simple. It's just a matter of recognizing one's own free will as the nondual will. It's the same both from a religious and atheistic perspective. And our personal free will is a part of what causes creation. And free will is a high level of development which is necessary for more complex development of our universe. But is there actual free will? No, I think it's like how Stephen Wolfram has explained it. We need to actually perform our choices as a part of the evolution of the universe. Our personal choices are necessary. The universe cannot skip levels of development and increase of complexity. So our personal choices are necessary even if reality is an automatic and deterministic process. One way of illustrating it is that not even the universe knows what the future will bring or what personal choices need to be made. God/Brahman as the infinite and changeless "knows" the future, yet from an atheistic perspective God/Brahman is only timeless and infinite information in my model, so it's not some separate being able to make choices. As it says in the Bible: "I the Lord do not change." Nor is it the universe doing things to us. We are the universe in the process of creation. Nor have we been created by the Word of God. We are the Word of God. Jesus Christ, the Word of God made manifest, said that He is in us and we are in Him. How would that possible if we were separate from Him?
  7. Oh, wow, in this video where Shunyamurti talked about reification he also revealed (near the end at around 1 hour) what will happen with collective consciousness! There has to be a collective field of removing reification he said, and then we can turn ourselves into avatars. That's probably what ACIM means by saying that the physical body is a misperception. And in the Bible it says that the body of flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
  8. Shunyamurti said that the basic flaw of ego consciousness is to reify, to turn reality into things including oneself. He said that all that is needed to be free is to get rid of the tendency to reify. It's not easy to do but it can be done, he said. That's related to what I wrote earlier about concepts! I still think of concepts as platonic eternal and timeless platonic forms. Yet, not even concepts are separate things. Consciousness has the ability to perceive the concepts. That's fine, but when we take those concepts as representing or even being separate things, then the conceptual perception turns into reification, which is a false perspective. And interestingly, the first lesson in A Course in Miracles is: Nothing I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything. Whoa that's exactly what Shunyamurti talked about. ACIM is about making a shift of paradigm from reification to vision. Judgment is a form of reification, and taking the body to be an object is also reification, and ACIM says:
  9. An irresponsible person cannot be harvested. When Jesus said that that we need to become like little children, he meant having clear minds, beginners' minds as it's called in Buddhism I think. The ego is not clear-minded. The ego is confused and childish. We need to develop personal responsibility as a way of ripening the ego. And when the ego is ripe it can be harvested. Being meek means to allow to be harvested.
  10. Things like personal responsibility and self-discipline are absolutely necessary for the ego because otherwise it would behave like a wrecking ball in a china shop in situations where it could get away with it. The next evolutionary stage however I see as an integral transcend and include of things like personal responsibility. Ultimately and from a nondual perspective there is no actual responsibility! It's all a cosmic trick! The ego cannot and never will actually do anything and that includes behaving responsibly or even irresponsibly. So what will happen is that responsible behavior becomes integrated automatically when we transcend the ego.
  11. Another reason for the staged COVID-1984 scam might be automation! That there actually already exist very advanced robots and AI that can replace a huge number of jobs, both blue collar and white collar jobs. And COVID-19 is then used as a means for shifting from a job-dominated society to an automation-dominated society. So things like helicopter money in the forms of handouts and UBI need to be introduced and the political processes for that can take decades! COVID-19 allows governments to immediately legislate changes and dish out helicopter money left and right.
  12. Richard Dawkins said in this video that he doesn't believe in free will. But he also said that he believes that things are determined by antecedent events. Antecedent means happened before, so that means cause and effect from past to future. Dawkins didn't say that he believes that all things are caused by antecedent events, but if that is what he meant then I think that's incorrect! And even the sense of free will may be a hint of causation not only from the past but also from the future. From a nondual perspective causation is a result of all of reality as a wholeness. And also, in nonduality there is no separate "me" being able to have free will and Leo also mentioned that in one of his videos.
  13. I will look into ACIM more from a New Age perspective. Especially the idea of ascension. And take it more seriously. And I think the fifth dimension in New Age teachings is the same as fourth density in the Law of One. Aaron Abke talked about a shift into fourth density, but my impression from some of his other videos is that he thinks it will happen thousands of years into the future. I want it to happen now! Here I found another video about the shift into fourth density:
  14. Another gloomy picture that I now got is that suicide may be the ego's subconscious becoming so scared of death that it takes its own life in order to get the horrible feeling over with. The ego is a control freak when it comes to its own protection and survival. And what is the firm belief in inevitable physical death? That's total lack of control for the ego! And it's a lack of control over precisely that which it wants protection from, namely death. ACIM says that the ego raises control instead sanity to preeminence. Something along that line. What it means is that the ego's belief in personal control is insanity. And indeed, if life is automatic, then the idea of personal control is false. And suffering is then a tool for evolution to move out of the belief in separate control. The sense of free will is a necessary stage of development, yet if it's a false sense, then we need to grow out of it.
  15. Horrible! Now I got a deeper sense of why the ego dislikes the idea of determinism. Because when we are stuck in what the Law of One calls third density, then the idea of life being destined and without free will appears awful. And that's probably why the Law of One talks so much about the importance of free will although Ra actually calls it the first Law of Confusion. And even with the belief in transhumanism, it will take decades before we get eternal physical bodies that are good enough to allow the ego to accept determinism, and even that is doubtful because is a kind of cyborg or nanotech body good enough for eternal life? So the ego is subconsciously totally freaked out about the idea of determinism because to the ego it means automatic death. One solution I came to think of is to combine the idea of determinism with the idea of being harvested into fourth density. Aaron Abke said that A Course in Miracles is about going from fear and sense of separate to a state love and a sense of wholeness, from third to fourth density. And I believe that for determinism really to be accepted subconsciously requires a simultaneous move from a third to a fourth density body. That's literally the resurrection body talked about in Christianity.
  16. To me superdeterminism seems the most logical candidate for how reality works. The ego dislikes that idea. So what to do when we are in ego consciousness? My own strategy is to combine determinism with guaranteed progress plus the idea that A Course in Miracles claims that nothing real can be threatened and that nothing unreal exists. The alternatives are free will and/or randomness. Both randomness and free will seem to be very shaky ideas to me. Not only because of how to explain it scientifically. The uncertainty principle in quantum mechanics doesn't prove randomness. What is true randomness? It's easy to define full randomness as information. Take a number of bits, ones and zeros, and for each bit assign the probability 50% for zero and 50% for one and that each bit is independent of all other bits. That's pretty random to me! Yet, what is the cause of such hypothetical randomness? That's like invoking some random oracle casting dice behind the scene. And free will is even trickier to explain I think. As an experiment I will assume that reality is deterministic and see what happens. Of course, if the idea is true, then not even that is my choice since that too is then already determined. But I can start with the question whether free will exists or not. So from my personal experience the experience is still valid.
  17. Ha! I was thinking that the China-India conflict will be easier to resolve than the China-U.S. conflict. Actually, I believe that China's conflict with India is staged. Even their conflict with the U.S. is staged I believe but on a higher level. As one intelligence community agent told Richard C. Hoagland, the lie is different at every level. And now it looks like the China-India conflict is about to be resolved:
  18. I think that when western powers manipulate they exaggerate their own capabilities or present their strengths as much as possible, like in how products and services are promoted in ads and commercials. When the Chinese powers manipulate I believe that they downplay their own capabilities. It's as if they don't want to show their strongest cards prematurely. So when the Chinese powers say that Huawei is in big trouble, to me that means that Huawei is in big trouble for the west, haha. It has started to change a little in recent years, and for example they now have an official strategy called Made in China 2025. And in the article I quoted earlier a Huawei employee talked about how Huawei will be able to manage the situation while western experts believe Trump dealt a deadly blow to Huawei. This according to my concept indicates that China has now started playing its stronger cards.
  19. I don't know if Ralph was joking but he said that COVID stands for Certificate Of Vaccine ID. But I think he did have a point in saying that social distancing and face masks are dangerous in the long run, especially for children. In some schools, children are forced to wear face masks all the time, breathing in their own carbon dioxide through face masks that gather bacteria and let viruses through (well, exosomes that is), and being hindered to interact with each other socially which is crucial for a child's development. I sense a monumental global backlash building up. It may be slow, but it's coming! I'm fairly sure about that, in some form or another. At the same time for some reason I predict that the coronavirus crisis is necessary, even if it's staged. Nothing happens by accident, and big events like COVID-1984, excuse me I meant COVID-19, marks some huge shift for our human civilization.
  20. Ralph has this video where he talks about the COVID scam-demic. Only criminals wear face masks he said. Good point! Actually Sadhguru compared people wearing face masks to bank robbers. My amateur guess is that face masks just make people sicker with basically zero extra protection from those leaky masks. Even Dr. Fauxi said initially that there is no need to wear face masks, then flip-flopping, so much for being an expert, haha.
  21. Wow, this was interesting. I managed to do practical things without thinking. Not completely. There is confusion mixed in with non-thinking. And thinking goes in and out of the mind. Sadhguru talked in this video about shunya "Empty space 2. sky ; Secluded place 3. point ; Dot 4. lack 5. lack indicator mark ; Cipher; (Zero). [V.] 1. In which there is nothing ; Blank ; Empty; Rita 2. formless" And of creating a little distance from the mind. I cannot with my thinking mind move away from thinking, but I can sort of fake it by thinking of acting without thoughts. And it works! And the confusion is probably just because I'm still in my thinking mind. I will try it some more to see how much I can do without the need to think.
  22. Shunyamurti talked about the need to silence the mind, emptying it of thoughts. I guess that's what he meant by trans-conceptual awareness in another video. Thinking is a concept-making process. Trans-conceptual means beyond thinking, not pre-conceptual which is a lower level of development. Thinking has been necessary in order to evolve from animal pre-conceptual awareness into conceptual awareness. The next evolutionary level is then about going beyond the need to think! I found this passage in A Course in Miracles: So even ACIM seems to talk about emptying the mind of thoughts. I haven't got a practical sense of it yet. My guess at the moment is that there is a higher level of consciousness that is free from thoughts and yet includes the intellect in some way. And from that higher perspective the thoughts that were so extremely important in ego consciousness no longer make any sense! Sounds incredible and also like a real possibility.
  23. Here is a new Shunyamurti satsang video where he talks about the ego as a hellrealm. Sounds similar to ACIM.
  24. What does A Course in Miracles say about meaning? I found for example: What can this one changeless meaning be? Maybe it's explained in ACIM but my perspective is that from a nondual perspective there is no meaning. However, directly in the Word of God there is meaning! And the meaning and purpose is to increase complexity over time. So with the manifestation of time comes meaning. And everything is the manifestation of the Word of God so everything has meaning. And in this way, meaning becomes one, just as ACIM says. For us as individuals the meaning depends on each of our unique subjective experiences, yet all of those are included in the overall one meaning of life. By expanding complexity I mean creating larger and larger holons, larger and more complex wholes. For the individual, meaning can be to learn more, including through experiences. And from a bigger cosmic perspective the Law of One describes a huge direction of meaning in reaching higher densities. The collective meaning for humanity at the moment is to reach a higher holon level by going from third to fourth density. And Aaron Abke explained in his latest video how A Course in Miracles is about that.
  25. Actually, individual enlightenment is basically useless! Because why would oneness divide itself into several egos in the first place? Because if there was only one being it would prevent the more advanced experiences needed for increased complexity. In short, it would be boring as hell. So enlightenment in my opinion is not about the individual becoming one with reality while basically everybody else still being in ego consciousness. That's horrible actually. The interesting and valuable for the purpose of expanding complexity, is collective enlightenment! That's what is called a social memory complex in fourth and higher densities in the Law of One. So I will start focusing more on collective enlightenment rather than individual enlightenment. And actually, collective enlightenment includes the individual or else it would be like the hive mind Borg in Star Trek. So it's integral transcend and include of the ego even in collective enlightenment.
