  1. Now I have yet another idea. While the functional principle of the personal stage is reward and punishment, the structure is based on personal possessions. So the divide between id, ego and superego is caused by personal possessions. Loosely speaking the superego is related to the ownership structure in society and the ego is related to the personal aspects of that structure. I don't know yet how that fits into the id.
  2. I found this academic lecture that includes the id, ego and superego. I don't know much about psychology so this video can be a good start for learning about some basic models in psychology.
  3. Now I've got a basic idea. The id, ego and superego separation is governed by reward and punishment. That's the typical personal stage mode of operation. Even at higher personal stages of development there is still the need to control impulses and urges bubbling up from the subconscious which is the domain of the id. So then there is a clear path towards transpersonal mindfulness. The primitive reward and punishment mechanism needs to be replaced by an integrated state of being that transcends the need for punishment.
  4. Jordan Peterson talks in this video about how Freud lacked the idea of integration of id, ego and superego. And also an interesting explanation of how the nervous system is actually distributed throughout the body.
  5. Aha! I think I got the main idea. The ego is like the "blue avian" trying to tame the dragon in this clip from the movie Avatar. The dragon is the id, and the collective group of blue people watching is the superego.
  6. Wow, I found that Leo has this old video about id, ego and superego which I will take a look at to get some ideas:
  7. I want to create a new method called transpersonal mindfulness. The starting premise is that the personal self is divided into ego, superego and id. I think it's great to have mainstream definitions to begin with. That makes it easy to plug my method into existing and established models. As a next step I want to add my own definitions: Definition: The crystallized ego is a self divided into ego, superego and id. Definition: The fluid ego is a self where the divisions in the crystallized ego have been transcended and included. That's how far I have come so far. I will try to continue constructing transpersonal mindfulness in later posts.
  8. Tested new music software! Better sound quality.
  9. I think Trump is so sure about winning that he needs the power to pardon to pardon Biden, not himself.
  10. The personal stage is full of conflict and also full of deception and manipulation. And even when one works at reducing conflicts and tendency towards lies and manipulation in oneself there is a lot of subconscious material that needs to be resolved. Karma can be seen as both the conscious and the subconscious content at the personal stage. I think proactive mindfulness is useful for gradually moving deeper into the subconscious and healing karma. And the proactive part can be simple, like questioning conflicts and agitating emotions and thoughts within oneself. So that's just a slight modification of the traditional mindfulness approach where inner conflicts are merely nonjudgmentally observed.
  11. One horrible and almost funny idea I came to think of is the possibility that the Democrats always have had far fewer votes than the Republicans because people regardless of where on the political spectrum are greedy as f, lol. So the general public in general doesn't give a crap about anything other than low taxes and how much money they will get. And the only reason then (notice this is just my speculation here) for why Democrats and Republicans are essentially balanced in number of votes over the decades is because the Democrats have systematically been committing voting fraud on an industrial scale, especially in urban areas.
  12. Something that might increase the chance of my prediction of Trump winning is that the recent hearing in Michigan seems to suggest that voting fraud has been going on in Democrat-controlled areas for decades! At least according to what I can glean from the hearing. For example, the witness testimony from 5 hours and 16 minutes into the video. And if true and revealed it will result in a colossal scandal. I'm still on the fence though, especially since these are enormous allegations. They will need extremely strong evidence.
  13. This new video by Shunyamurti made me think of the crystallized ego as a bundle of rules. That's the crystallized and inflexible structure of the ego at the personal stage. And I now think of the crystallized ego as a scaffolding necessary for the development of the transpersonal stage. One cannot just jump directly from a state of oneness (one with God in an undifferentiated state in the garden of Eden) and into the transpersonal stage. First a sense of unique and personal individuality has to be developed and that's the useful role of the crystallized ego. Shunyamurti talked about how the ego structure of external rules needs to be removed. That's like removing the scaffolding for a construction even though that's just a crude analogy that I came to think of. I think what Shunyamurti describes as the Self free of the ego is what I call the fluid ego and the transpersonal stage which doesn't need the inflexible rules of the crystallized ego because it transcends and includes those rules.
  14. I found this other video with legal and political experts. They seem to be fairly unbiased and simply explain the laws and procedures etc. I still think Trump may have a chance so I want to inform myself about what the actual rules are.
  15. There is a hearing about voting fraud going on in Arizona at the moment. Lots of incoherent ramblings by witnesses. And many vague sounding claims. Some statistics presented showing anomalies but that's about it as far as evidence goes. They need to come up with something much stronger than that. Or they will embarrass me, haha. I stick to my prediction and hope for more solid evidence presented to the Supreme Court.
  16. I came to think of a speculative idea. If the ego tension are collective, then when those tensions dissolve it results in a collective consciousness. Carl Junk talked about a collective unconscious. My idea is that it will result in a collective conscious when our tensions dissolve. And that would explain why the tensions are so immensely deep. Most of the tensions are hidden on a subconscious level and with inner body awareness practice the tensions gradually come up to the surface of conscious awareness. And in my experience that's a massive and burdensome process.
  17. @Forestluv That's true, there is of course reality to politics. What laws are made matter a lot for society and policies, regulations and what plans are made. And even when it comes to the more dramatic aspects of politics, that has a definite purpose too. I'm trying to defend my reasoning for why I would even consider the fraud accusation to maybe be true. It's rather convoluted the way I interpret the election drama. My prediction is that the whole election fraud debacle is a strategy for draining the swamp, meaning cleaning up huge amounts of corruption.
  18. @Forestluv I believe that politics is essentially a staged show for the masses on the public level, I think it's called "optics". And people get stuck on the at face value surface level interpretation of politics. My attempt is to move above that and get a bigger picture perspective without knowing the details behind the public scene. People at the first tier level in Spiral Dynamics only know how to deal with conflict. If it's not conflict, then they don't understand that, nor are interested in it. A harmonious political situation with cooperation and peace would be boring as hell to people at that level.
  19. Aha! Detaching from society can probably done within oneself by dissolving tensions. It's not financial situations, careers, social status, reputation, goodwill, education, culture, nationality, personal relationships or material or immaterial possessions that in themselves are the problem. The problem is the attachment to things like that. And the attachment to society manifests as tension in the body and mind. So, then, if that theory is correct, it's "just" a matter of dissolving one's own tensions to detach from the collective morphic field of society.
  20. @Blackhawk My impression is that the intelligence community behaves in extremely tricky ways. They have to, in order to keep the criminals in line. So in this case my prediction is that Chris Krebs is working together with Trump to preempt any counter claims. They are basically checkmating the situation.
  21. @Blackhawk I'm trying to be radically open-minded. If I was a judge I would say something like: okay, let's see what evidence you have. Just in case. To make sure that everything is in order.
  22. @Sempiternity Yes, it's a really shaky prediction I have made. And my position is actually that I'm still on the fence.
  23. @Forestluv I trust Chris Krebs and think that he has done an honest job as the Director of Cybersecurity (CISA). I still predict massive voting fraud though. Just in case there is an unbelievable stunt going on.
  24. @Sempiternity I admit that I don't know. Like all predictions, it could turn out false. But I wanted to make the prediction and then compare it to what the actual result will be. I understand that the witnesses could even be false, but to me some of them seem like having really heavy and relevant credentials. That was what made me make the prediction.
  25. @Sempiternity It's just my personal opinion. Others will probably say that they are weak witnesses.
