Eckhart Tolle said that evil is unconsciousness, and by that he means lack of presence awareness. That's similar to my view, that evil is a result of limited consciousness. Leo has a radical explanation of evil which I also mostly agree with, such as in this video that could be worth repeating:

It's also important to understand that the deception in the world has a definite useful purpose. Just like the ego, it's a necessary stage of development for catalyzing growth, creativity and uniqueness during the early stages of a civilization. And the global ego has immense value formed by all the struggle, growth and development we have had throughout history. Also, to transcend the global ego is a humongous task. Because if it's true that we are evolving into a collective consciousness, the global ego is a way too primitive model for that. We can't just make individual egos cooperate and believe that's the same as a collective consciousness. So it's the responsibility of the global ego to defend itself and keep itself intact until a true collective consciousness emerges that has the capacity to transcend and include the global ego.

Then if there is so much manipulation, then maybe the conspiracy theories are true? No! The conspiracy theories are also a part of the deception and manipulation. It's what is called controlled opposition. Conspiracy theories, often contradicting each other, are on purpose promoted to the public. Although, just like with all other information, the conspiracy theories sometimes contain some of the truth. So what to do about such a messy situation regarding knowledge? My strategy is to look at all kinds of information and choose what fits into the bigger picture. One problem with this approach is that I have had to change my mind several times when new layers of deception are discovered. So I find it helpful to cling to beliefs only as long as they still are consistent and then discard them if it turns out to be just another layer of deception. An intelligence agency agent told Richard C. Hoagland that the lie is different at every level. That's a pretty accurate description I think. Also, I have found it useful to focus on direct experience, such as mindfulness practice, instead of only seeking information. Raw consciousness cannot be manipulated. Subjective experience can be observed from a meta perspective. Leo even said in one video that subjective experience is what is most fundamentally real and objective reality is actually concepts. Very good point!

Why not ignore ACIM and just use for example Spiral Dynamics? One important reason is that ACIM says that the world is a total deception basically, while Spiral Dynamics takes the world seriously. ACIM is correct in this regard and Spiral Dynamics wrong. The global ego is all about manipulating the masses. Politics is manipulation, mainstream media is manipulation, religions are manipulation, spiritual traditions are manipulation, education is manipulation, science is manipulation, philosophy is manipulation, history is manipulation, entertainment is manipulation, culture is manipulation, art is manipulation, fashion is manipulation and on and on. Then what about ACIM itself, is that manipulation too just on a higher level? Well, some of ACIM is probably manipulation and even though Spiral Dynamics may even be less of manipulation it's a much more naive model, similar to believing that Santa Claus is real. Edit: A clarification: Spiral Dynamics is very useful for understanding how the world works. It's in relation to the deeper picture that it becomes a deception.

@DrewNows Yes, I think the truth is already out there, and also that the truth is divided and spread out into different teachings. For example I mentioned in a recent post how Buddhism and Christianity are both right and wrong at the same time. My previous idea that it's possible to integrate all religions is then somewhat false. Instead it's typical global ego manipulation! (By global ego I mean the world we live in until humanity awakens.)

It was more of a rhetorical question, but please share your thoughts if you want to. It's useful to get more perspectives than just my own.

@DrewNows Yes, I watched some of Elitom's videos when I was looking into breatharianism. I haven't followed breatharianism for a while, I think it's real but I found it too difficult for me to seriously try it.

Anna talked in the video about staying in the zero point field. That's vacuum energy that Nassim Haramein has said is the foundation of physical reality. And Nassim sometimes calls it prana. And in mainstream science they know about the vacuum energy, but they don't have a full grasp of it yet. They even have something called the vacuum catastrophe: I think the enormous difference in energy is a result of all the vacuum fluctuations cancelling each other out so that space appears empty with very little energy. And when the fluctuations are made more coherent, huge amounts of zero point energy can be extracted out of empty space.

Why would deeper truths need to be hid behind New Age woo woo? My answer is because of the same reason for why the Bible and other religious texts obscure the deeper truth so to no reveal the information prematurely which would hamper the development of society. So New Age is the modern day version of that strategy. The deeper truth will in this way seep in slowly and subconsciously in society at a safe rate and from beneath the mainstream media and academia and so on.

@DrewNows I will take a look at the video. Why so much New Age ideas nowadays? A new idea that hit me is the question: how to hide deeper truth in today's rational and scientific society? With New Age woo woo of course! Because the rational ego will generally not take that seriously. For example how many mainstream news and media channels say that New Age is real? They don't. New Age is instead used as a derogatory term, such as calling presidential candidate Marianne Williamson a New Age self-help guru. This gave me an idea to take a look at some REAL New Age woo woo, haha. Here is one example:

Heart intelligence seems to be about feeling and wholeness. Mind intelligence is about intellect and categories. The ego has mind intelligence but lacks heart intelligence. So what can be added to Lazy Yoga is to focus on feeling instead of thinking and doing. Even the heart-centered metta breathing exercise can be done with Lazy Yoga which means to let go of efforts to do the practice and let it happen automatically.

Whoa! Leo cited the Law of One in his second video about Absolute Infinity (from 1:05:28):

Wow, I felt a release of energy in my heart area when I did the practice. What I did was following the advice in the Quick Coherence video and combined it with Metta intention and starting from myself and expanding out into larger and larger circles around me. McCarty said that energetically we can breath via the heart and heart-focused breathing shifts the rhythm of the heart which sends a different signal to the brain and enhances cognitive functioning. McCarty also said that heart coherence IS how we shift consciousness. Okay, I have changed my mind, Instead of starting with global heart coherence directly I will start with a gradual heart-focused metta breathing practice. That little test convinced me that the technique is working.

In Buddhism there is something called Metta meditation and Eckhart Tolle described it as an expansion of loving-kindness intent: Let me be at peace and happy, let my family be at peace and happy, let my neighborhood be at peace and happy and so on in larger and larger circles. I came to think about that when McCraty talked about a breathing technique for heart coherence, that it might be powerful to combine the two techniques. McCraty said that they can scientifically measure heart coherence, and Metta meditation has also been scientifically tested.

In this video, Dr. Rollin McCraty talks about three levels of heart coherence, personal, social and global. I will experiment with going directly to the global heart coherence! It's about getting the electromagnetic field of the heart coherent with earth's magnetic field. Although I think that the magnetic fields are still just a surface manifestation of an even deeper morphic field connected to the vacuum energy that Nassim Haramein says is the foundation of the universe.

Also, another thing related to protection, I now got the idea that the fear ACIM talks about related to the ego can only be removed at the root by a collective consciousness. And that's a useful idea when practicing mindfulness because it lets me allow my fears to be there and focus on opening my heart instead which will remove the fear for me. It's then even the case that attempting to remove the fears oneself is itself fearful ego activity.

Leo said that trying to conceptualize absolute infinity too much can be dangerous. And some famous scientists have even gone insane, he said. One way of dealing with that is to have the hypothesis that infinity can never be manifested. So then actual infinity is always only in the unmanifested and never in the manifested world. That helps at least my mind to relax my thinking about infinity. And even helps me to not to get so upset by absurd claims like in string theory where they use the value -1/12 related to the sum 1+2+3+4+5+... to infinity. That's just (dare I say mad) conceptualization of infinity they are doing.

ACIM says that being defenseless is true protection. I was thinking about that and then realized that a protective heart is a closed heart! Having a closed heart hardened more and more by the ego's own ideas of protection causes more and more conflict in our lives. So a closed heart actually leads to the opposite of being protected. And an open heart is related to a collective consciousness. The HeartMath institute has shown how a whole group of people can get their hearts in coherence with each other. And with a collective consciousness there is automatic protection. Because then we are interacting as an actual harmonious whole. So that must be what ACIM means by how being defenseless is true protection. What does a collective consciousness need to protect itself against when it spans the whole planet? The need for protection drops away automatically as a consequence of awakening a global consciousness.

Consciousness connected to infinity is only impossible if we think of consciousness as a part of manifested reality. But it's not! Consciousness observes manifested reality and therefore cannot be a part of manifested reality itself. Here is a tricky result: An endless string is always finite. An endless string observing itself is both finite and infinite. It's the observation part that makes the principle infinite. In order to always be able to observe the string the observation function needs to be outside the content of the string. So consciousness connected to infinity is possible as a part of the unmanifested. Infinity is only impossible in the realm of the manifested.

Yikes, I saw how people attacked Leo because of his explanation of love. Pretty gutsy definition of love. How to come up with a more lukewarm explanation of love that is less confrontational? Earlier I defined love as wholeness in harmony. With that definition it's possible to say that the Nazis for example, that was evil, not love since it fails the criteria of harmony. And evolution can be seen as a process of increasing love. Also, my definition is compatible with ACIM which makes a clear distinction between fear and love.

Absolute authority is only a myth on the manifested level of reality. The unmanifested is the absolute authority. So for example Donald Trump may decide to declare a 1000% tariff on imported Chines goods, just joking a bit but you get the picture. And let's say that the Congress thinks, that yes, that's a good idea and approves Trump's decision. Then it may so happen that the unmanifested produces some unexpected (yet deterministic) emergent happenings that prevent the new legislation. God's plan cannot be messed with.

Another thing with authorities when it comes to knowledge is that some authorities might be lying to us, not necessary because of their own egoic cravings but for good reasons! So when I learn from experts I usually try to fit it into the bigger picture to vet the information. For example I even question how ACIM always only bashes the ego. The ego is a necessary development in my opinion. Disclaimer: There may be some text in ACIM that clarifies this.

On a relative level authority is real. Here is a quote from the Bible which Alex Jones has a problem with: I think the Bible is correct here. It's kind of a conspiracy above what even Alex Jones talks about. My theory is that the top authorities in the world are occupied by what the Law of One calls Wanderers and they are already fourth or higher density, so they are capable of making correct decisions.

Is the Pope infallible? Yes, but so are you. Haha! Because there are no actual mistakes in reality. The difference is that the Pope may have more authority than you. But what is authority? If reality is an automatic process then does the Pope really have authority? Only in a relative sense. Absolute authority is a myth, or as Leo explained, you/we are the authority ourselves.

All the past manifests instantly in the Holy Instant. We remember the past by accessing information that exists in the now and only in the now. Nassim Haramein said something similar about spacememory. Is that claim actually true? To me it seems like a logical explanation and it can be used as something to experiment with using mindfulness practice. What will happen if our perspective shifts from experiencing the past as something away from the now to experiencing the past always as existing only in the now? I find that a fascinating idea and will practice actualizing it.
