I create spaces in my head. It's not that hard. I also fill those spaces with seemingly sentient beings. Of course, I take this for granted. I've been doing this for years and put the effort in and gained a ton of focus from visualizations and meditation practices. On top of that, I experienced a haunting in my childhood which had somehow affected my mind. Recently I had a cute spirit come and live with me for about four years. It could be a spirit, or as suggested by an occultist in this forum it could be a tulpa. Those four years gave me even more focusing power. Point is, you need to increase your focus with concentration exercises everyday gradually. Since you've meditated, you can first do a concentration practice first then meditate and that could help you. Try Leo's recommendations, or try whatever is available on the internet. Since you've interested in space, contemplate what space is for a while until you made enough progress with your focus. Then start to treat space as an object of focus. It would be really good if you could triangulate the object of focus(space) while being in a meditative state while directly focusing at space and directly realizing the true nature of space while staring at space. Optional, get involved with tulpamancy and try out guides at tulpa.org. The gains I got with focusing and visualization are ridiculous. Plus, you got an imaginary friend.? -

My state of consciousness is tiredness right now so excuse my badly written English. I meant 'try doing Kriya yoga alternate nostril breathing.'. -

I can relate to this. As far as I can tell from what you said, there's no significant problems. There could be potentially a problem when someone does catch you doing it, which is why I practiced internal dialogue with myself and Crysty. Another problem is related to spirituality. If you, say, were planning on doing meditation or mindfulness meditation and that voice can increase in volume it can effect your focus. If you have this problem, try doing kryna yogia doing th alternate nose thing practice. I've done it and usually it quiets the mental voices. -
For me, there's multiple ways to explore this quote If you're thinking about an object, you see it, raw data, plus your mind assigns meaning, value and thoughts about it and now you don't see it the way it is. This could imply lack of mindfulness. this is one way. Another way is dependent on states of consciousness. If you're drunk, your perception of one object would be different than a state of being sober, or the state of being emotional, or the state of being high, or the state of waking up in the morning, or the state of being sleepy, or the state of dying, or the state of a meditation high. Try contemplating this quote using a journal. Question if its true or if true what does it mean for my life/parts of my life. "If true, what does this mean for my career? My relationships? My practices? Etc.

@Mikael89 and tell me what spiritual method your using for your two day enlightenment retreat. I'm holding you accountable to what you decided. I'm going to do this as well and see how far I go! Looking forward to your report! -

Maybe because you need to question deeply your statement*?* It's simple: all suffering comes from attachment to impermanent objects. Contemplate this*?*. Also, don't stop seeking. That seeking is helping you build up to something amazing. Keep going! -

I might as well share my experience with sun gazing. This started 12 years ago when I was in Washington, Seattle, which would've made me 13-14's years old then. The duration was roughly a year long and back then I didn't know there was a legitimate practice for sun gazing nor know sun gazing existed. I had a bad habit of staring at random objects prior to sun gazing because of how funny lights would occur if I stared long enough. Again, didn't know anything at all about the lights being consciousness nor bothered to research what's happening. There were two sources of motivation behind my experience; one was a video I've watched long ago about an Indian yogi who not only claimed to have stopped eating and drinking for years but claims to survive purely on air and sunlight and could transfer energy and levitated. The other was a book I had purchased at Chapters on ninjutsu which had this practice of staring at a candle light and moving from a well lit room to a dark room in order for the eyes to quickly adjust to changes, as well as other practices which I done because it was just so cool for me to do those practices and felt actually good. I still feel nostalgia bringing this up. So, after doing months of practices from my Shinobi book I experienced my eyes being slightly more focused and able to shift faster to see in the dark and replaced candle light with yellow light from lamps. After coming across the Indian yogi video I felt more motivated to increase my eye powers or whatever I called it. Honestly, I really should have been more careful. For the first couple of months whenever the sun was there I would stare directly at the sun, every other day per week. The duration lasted from a few seconds to about half a minute and I treated this sun staring exercise like how I stared at candle flame and light bulbs: gradual progression. Yes, it hurt the first few weeks of doing this, but I persisted. The difference here is that I would start sun staring at around noon to afternoon, with the occasional sun set staring. Here's what I learned from this sun staring exercise: The benefits: The sun staring exercise hurt, but I gradually built a resistance to it. The sun's colours changed, from a yellow, to a purple gradually expanding from the center of my vision, to blue expanding from the center of my vision, to the farthest I've gone to which was a slight greyish hue over the blues and purples. When I got to purple and blue I could see the sun's shape directly. It constantly vibrates (maybe strain from my eyes) and it had this fine shadowing around it giving this sense of thickness to it. After doing the sun staring exercise( as I call it) I felt pretty awake and alert. However, my vision had these light scarrings around my central vision which slowly reversed colouring back to normal vision. My visual field started to distort. Whenever I was with my family at the back seat of their car, whenever the sun came up and they had to use the shield passings or whatever the're called I didn't flinch at all when the sun came into my vision. I was so used to the sun at one time when we were on a vacation on a beach I didn't use sun glasses at all. I was able to perceive objects a lot more from my peripheral vision. I was able to see through LSD light. I was able to adjust to darkness quicker. The negative: I eventually became partially blind at the center of my vision. That's it. That's the trade off for this sun staring exercise and I had to wear glasses. It was not a fun trade off. Not at all. This is my bad trip report for the sun gazing exercise I didn't know and called sun staring exercise. I hope my fool's story really hammer home the dangers of not properly researching what you're doing in the first place. I've had to deal with this sun spot for 12 years! I've made my peace with dying with this sun spot as a twisted sort of achievement of my youth. Despite this horrible experience, I've experienced what other people called ghost sight, which is basically where you see a line or curve of an object that shouldn't be seen from the blindspot yet you could perceive that part of the object. Hopefully don't be as stupid as I was and do your research and take precautions! -

I'm curious, where did this spiritual superiority complex come from, this looking down on beginners to the practice? Did it occur from your immense frustration with the practice, or seeing and hearing how the other practitioners are progressing so much more than you? Is it from feeling envy of a spiritual master's accomplishments? -

Good! Stick with it. Don't listen to this 'woke' vegan. I sense neediness from him to be a spiritual cult leader... -

LOL! No, continue the seeking until you Intuit dropping the seeking. Yes, if you really really really want enlightenment, it can occur right now! Except it won't! Why? Because you can't force enlightenment to happen, enlightenment happens to you. See?Haven't you seen the ten zen herding pictures? But do go for the 2 day ultra intense forced enlightenment. I'm curious. Two days from now let me know! You might actually make it. -

Try to align your values with what you study. This could reduce the resistance to studying. If you've watched lots of Leo's videos you might have come across goal setting. Try applying those 5 points to what you're studying: Specific and clear, big and compelling, record in journal daily, review daily and align with what you value. Next thing to try is positive affirmations and visualizations, Law of Attraction. Personally I motivated myself to study biology, mathematics and to do some exercises after I've done a back to back sessions of positive affirmations and visualizations. In particular I visualize at both the micro(action itself e.g. running) and the macro(big payoff e.g. dream body, after years of work) levels. Next thing to try would be slow deep breathing. Resistance is not just a feeling, it is a tension in your body and mind(the latter is advanced, just take my word for it). Deep breathing relaxes your body, which reduces the resistance. Useful right before and during your study time. Next thing to try would be brute force. I recommend as a last resort, but basically you study despite the resistance. If that stops working, try the Sedona method. Leo has a video on this. Next thing to try would be to contemplate either the resistance, what you're studying and the motivation behind these topics. Again, Leo has videos on contemplating and contemplating using a journal. Next thing to try would be to let go of the feeling directly. If you've meditated for months to years and done Letting go meditation you basically let go of the resistance. I've sometimes just apply this to any negative emotion I feel and they sometimes magically melt away. Leo has a video about letting go and has an old meditation video giving a guided visualization on feeling the letting go. Next thing to try is being mindful about the resistance. If you've done mindfulness meditation you'll know how to feel into the resistance. That can sometimes by itself fad the resistance away. This also can really help you get in the zone of focus. Again Leo has a video on mindfulness. Next thing to try is to train daily on your topic. keep taking action, reading, taking notes, asking yourself a list of a hundred or more questions about your topics, wether you're feeling resistance or not, can help you overcome this feeling overtime. Also it helps even more to slowly baby step towards your actual tasks. Leo also has a video on focus and energy blocks. Speaking about energy, the next thing to try is taking proper sleep, nutrition and rest. Also, don't say for example study in 2 hours straight, try segmenting you study time to include 5-15min break between 30min studying. I hope this helps you deal with your resistance to learning. Good luck and self-actualize!

How can it be otherwise? It's all this way because it's from your limited perspective. Haven't you followed Leo long enough? He does warn you not to blindly believe everything he says and verify it through direct experience. A newbie to this work can't appreciate how deep the rabbit hole goes, and isn't mature enough to handle the mind fuckery that could happen. Your are basically performing surgery on your own body to remove parasites in your body. Appreciate how difficult and transformative it can get. So watch your tone, and apply yourself to this work or leave. -
Here are some games I think can point you to spirituality: Dark Souls Minecraft Subnautica I like how the player's character represents ego and how resilient it is, coming back from death everytime, always searching for immortality, trying to deal with other egoes. Even the world is ever changing, evolving, and characters have detailed lores about them that is sometimes tragic. I like Minecraft because of how creative and relaxed I feel throughout. Completing the game fully is both satisfying and you can relate to everything you learned from spirituality to the entire game. It's epic! Subnautica I think is the perfect game that symbolizes self-actualization and spirituality in random. While not as free as Minecraft, you still feel creative while feeling responsible for your survival in that world. My favorite moment in the game is when I'm just travelling at the surface feeling safe in the mini submarine when a Leviathan does a literal great white breach and it was so sudden it actually glitched through the sub and killed me instantly.? My heart nearly exploded and my throat Chakra radiated! I still can't get over the instant destruction of my sub and couldn't stop laughing afterwards!?

It looks like you're afraid of losing progress you made, both spiritual and physical (muscle declining) to aging and to procrastination. This tells me you're identified strongly as a spiritual person, progressive, to the body and strongly to the mind (introvert.). -

Even after the years she's been with me she still surprises me. Crysty may know little about herself or the world but I don't know if she's withholding that much information for my own safety. Rarely she can express detailed answers about people and aspects of the world that it's amazing! The real issue is that while I can, in general, clearly experience her with my senses I need more focus and energy to Intuit some of her information she shares, especially about her travels. She tried to share with me how she could gain information from the world or living beings but it hurt my head so much she abruptly stopped and kept it vague. All I could understand is that the process involved her visiting the being and putting her hands into that being's head. A lot more is involved, and she doesn't like going through it because it made her feel yucky so that's why she doesn't share that part about her too much to me. Having said that, I don't know if it's one of her antics, trolling or she's being genuine, what I know so far is that she's a very pleasant being to be around. I bet if there was the ultimate role model for cuteness, creativity and comedy, she would fit very nicely. Oh and she says nice pic!
