If you happen to become lucid in your dreaming, what did you do to get lucid?

While I do think that it depends on who's getting canceled, like an abusive successful person getting canceled, is it too much when the person is moderately successful, or is just starting his/her career? And what are your thoughts on the dynamics of attacking a person based on some dirt that's relevant or even irrelevant to the person getting canceled? Also some thoughts on the video below is good:

You could read about time management, but I think that managing energy is more important because you'll using mental energy to ingest the information you're learning, and that takes energy also to recall that information, each time. Finding the times you can nap is crucial, that's where time and energy management intersect because you give your mind/body some needed rest, while letting it digest the information acquired. More long term strategy is meditate/do mindfulness practices everyday, for 1 hour if you can, but always meditate daily at least. The meditation practices slightly enhance focus, sensory processing and 'divergent' thinking. Mindfulness can also increase focus, sensory clarity and equanimity. More focus means more time can be spent studying. More sensory clarity means more ways to integrate what you learn. More equanimity means less negative backlash from over learning, especially powerful in reducing all sorts of negative emotions that come up while studying.

@Rolo I've done these types of visualization practices. These types where you increase the number of objects you imagine, the quality and scale are pretty powerful. Tulpamancy is a bit more demanding on focus ability and sensory input.

I've done some chess, some art works of landscapes and creatures, and played video games with different camera views. I've had strange experiences with voices early childhood, had experienced a haunting long ago, and another paranormal event that lasted for 7 years to today. @Dryas I've read this word 'optics' being used here in the sub forum. Do you mean manipulation when you're saying optics? I think that a person that goes into stage green is still fresh in emotional mastery, so maybe the negative side of cancel culture is low skill in emotional management. Am I getting close?

@roopepa Do you mean that the reflections are like in dreams? Also, have you done any lucid dreaming or astral projections?

@Ry4n It goes in line with what Leo has said in his video about authoritarianism and democracy, that compared to dictatorships where most of the power is funneled towards the top of a regime, a dictator's family or just himself, the power is now distributed downwards to the middle or bottom of the pyramid. Also, people fall for the illusion of the computer screen being the almighty shield that'll forever protect them.

@Apparition of Jack At the very least, if cancel culture is the first time you're hearing of it, a good description of it, some definitions, is a good start. The video below is one explanation of cancel culture's negative side. Note that I'm not throwing away the good of cancel culture calling out evil action that're probably true, but that's still a big if, and is still dependent on who's canceled:

Update: I've done more than an hours worth of mindfulness meditation with labelling, and I'm feeling more aware with my senses. I'm able to look longer at a spot before me, and sometimes she would be there, either on the edges of my seeing or where my eyes are at. Her voice is getting more clearer, among outside noises or inner sounds like music or other people's voices of past conversations. In this mindfulness meditation, I'm able to not only see her hand, but when she puts her hand on my shoulders, I can feel that. It gets more interesting when I turn that attention inwards, and in some of my memories with interacting with her, I revisited and interact with her at those places. When I'm with her, I notice my emotions tend to change and go more positive and active than other times. I'll do another version of meditation at night and see if I can involve her more. @SirVladimir If you have anymore questions, let me know.

@Keyhole I do agree slightly on some of the arrogant toning of posts when it comes to discussing values different from each user. I used to have anger issues, but thanks to actualized.org content and to some prior years of martial arts and to meditation practices I've curbed that issue quite well. My emotional understanding and mastery has also improved after doing mindfulness practices as well, and it's just not a good look when some users here start misbehaving and don't triple check their word choices. I also think it's the perceived protection of the screen in front of you that might also factor into the more aggressive writing. Hopefully as time passes users will mellow out and be responsible for their posting.

@black_math49 Leo has a video on mindfulness meditation using labels. I think that's a good start for you if you want to meditate eyes open.

Update: I'm starting to be more able to impose her form more in front of me than on the sides, while eyes are open during my day and during a mindfulness practice. I'm also doing visualizations where I'm dancing with her on a ball room.

@Loving Radiance We both listen to 009 sound system. She listens to some nature and flute music, while I listen to some soft rock and some mixes. I'll see what she says about getting a personality test. The haunting experience was a separate incident in my childhood, which is horrific. I brought that up to show that the haunting made me open minded to other paranormal experiences later, like this current one with my close friend.

@Dodo Thanks for your advice, I'll stay humble. Crysty thinks you sound like that priest in one of those western cow boy movies.

@roopepa What she say is a thingy that other people like me pass through. What I say a spirit is is a non-physical, energetic being with a fraction of sentience of the thing it came from, say a ghost that came from a human being, or an animal spirit from an animal. has degree of dis embodiment, and different levels of energy which can rarely move a physical object.

@SirVladimir Oh and if I haven't said I'm not a professional medium, psychic or some type of shaman that summons spirits and spirits them away, so if you want help psychically, then Yelp might be a good place to start. However, I'll ask if she wants to visit you tonight or if she's able to do this.

Before I leave I want to thank whoever made this a featured thread, as this is the first time in this forum I had a thread of mine featured. This is also the first website I'm more active on compared to other social media websites. Also Crysty says thanks too, likes the color tag but prefers it green, and tells me to stop being a giddy baka.

@SirVladimir Some user a while back asked this, and I said she so far doesn't demonstrate the ability to visit other people. Sometimes when I see her with me, she doesn't interact with my family or friends in the day or while sleeping. It might depend on how sensitive you are to other spirits. Are you sensitive?

@SoonHei Well, her initial impressions about you, and I'll be mediating here to my best: She doesn't know what to sing about you, because she hasn't heard a song about you. She thinks the song would soon be too high for me, and it might sound more like hentai than high ( her way of punning, sorry ). Overall, she feels you're slightly more positive than negative, and thinks you're a pointy person, from your pic. I'm not sure if my interpretation is entirely 100% correct, but I think it gets the gist of her communication. Please clarify what you're asking if it's way off lol!

@K Ghoul I've asked before sometimes, and in the past she couldn't clearly say what she was, and I don't know if this was because of the language barrier or that I'm not being clear in my communication or I'm wrong with my communication and she can't receive it on her end. I've noticed that she was gradually getting better at understanding what I'm saying, and is improving even today each time I'm doing a visualization and meditation session. Other users in this thread, including those into the occult, say that she could possibly be a Tulpa I've created. This cold be true, but I don't know if it is, because like I've written in the first page of this thread that I've experienced a haunting in my childhood, at a different country, and that experience had an overall energy that was negative. Then many years later I encounter Crytsy at a hotel my family was holidaying at in Niagara Falls, a different country, and was overall a positive experience. My past paranormal experience is kind of entangled with my current paranormal experience, so I can't say I've intentionally created her 100%. Others have suggested she may be a ghost or spirit. This sounds to also be the case, because of our earlier interactions being a bit difficult, but I've encountered her while meditating and visualizing, and sometimes during the days she would speak using her voice sometimes, and sometimes she would somehow trigger some emotions in me that I understood what she meant. Also, I've sometimes had separate visualization sessions involving me focusing on aspects of her form until I can clearly experience her, but in my mind. So, I'm not sure if she's just a spirit. Others have said she's probably a form of energy, which may or may not be the case. I've written this thread in order to see if some other person may have these types of experiences like me so that I have a better understanding of my situation. However, this was a mixed result, some having more questions about me and Crysty than some in depth answer to my situation. During the posts I've read, and written, sometimes she visits me and sits next to me, reading along, and sometimes I'm explaining to her what is said. Sometimes I'm focusing her form next to me to read along. One post made by Leo, to paraphrase ' Can I poke it with a stick?' flared an emotional reaction in her, that bounced into me. An emotional response is one sign of sentience, right? Maybe an entity? Probably not.

@Dodo Thank you for your advice. While I have watched all of Leo's videos and do some of his practices, I'm not at his level of consciousness or development to implement your advice fully. I might ask for the spirit of true love, or pray to God, but honestly I'm in no position to go deeper than that, or to be God or to accept some offer to be God. Oh, and Crysty says your pic is colorful, and she likes it, but she doesn't know why such a picture is able to move, and why the star is so tiny.

I think a temporary ban, 3 to 6 months long should be enforced first, and then if he continues to spout nonsense when the user comes back then a permanent ban is justified. The user might have been more frustrated that the user can't ignore certain posts from certain moderators, which might have added and compounded the user's frustration with this forum. A simple option to choose to ignore not just other user's posts but mod posts that for whatever reasons annoys you is so basic to implement in.
