@Roy Ok good to know I'm heading in the right direction. I have to thank myself for keeping up mindfulness practices in the past.

@universe Thank you for your advice. I think when the teacher arrived to silence the other groups, and the girls stopped, I now remember I felt other emotions, like relief that they shut up, but also vengeful for them making me feel insecure, fear and vulnerable, similarly to what happened in my childhood, at least what I could consciously remember. I also remembered whispering loudly to them, while I was leaving, to put back the book when they're done studying, while the teqcher was nearby. I think I was passive aggressive on my exit. I later on felt some apathy like loneliness, depression, or some form of defeat from not standing up more, although at that time I just didn't know how to stand for myself, and emotionally shut down afterwards. Is this my coping mechanism for situations like this?
-
@Emerald The two girls were pushy when they talked to me, and the third wasn't, and apologized to me for her friends behaviour. I also remember using the book I had, and my bag to the right of me as some sort of barrier against them. I definitely was caught off guard, and felt nervous, fear, and annoyance, so my replies and tone were defensive. Now that I think more about it, it's likely the two wanted to mess around with me, which also triggered something in me about my childhood.
-
@Roy Just now, I realized that I was also feeling fear mixed in with anger and annoyance while they were at the table. I didn't realize afterwards, but while I'm here I just realized fear was there as well. The apathy feelings I felt after might have helped me forget other negative emotions as well. I might consider getting hypnotherapy done as well, to bypass the depressions episodes.

@integral Because While I'm doing stuff, I don't want to be interrupted. I also don't like being teased. The combination of teasing and interruption makes me feel annoyed, and the longer those people do me, the more annoyed I get, and I might start feeling anger and worry that the situation could get worse. After all that, leaving the situation behind me, I suddenly feel depressed or some form of apathy, maybe to shovel off excess energy from that situation. Like you've said when you edited you're post just now it could be related to the far past of my childhood. I'll have to dig around and take a psychoanalysis person for this. It's honestly not a pleasant thing to go through, like I didn't do shit to invite this to me!
-
@integral Good for them! Except I wasn't giving any signals to invite strangers for a chit chat, nor invite teasing from strangers. I don't sit down on a table, see a stranger absorbed by his work, study, or book, and go interrupt for casual talk, or tease or whatever. Maybe the better question is how do I full proof myself to stop people from doing this to me?
-
@Chew211 WTF is this? Is my suffering some kind of joke? I did not ask for this situation to happen. I was reading, minding my business. Because of that, I felt less secure using the library to study notes or read books. Just thinking about it makes me feel a bit depressed. If anything, I have the exact opposite of that post.
-
@Bando You gave me an idea. Next time, although it's now less likely I'll ever want to be that social because of the annoyance, but next time, I have to tell myself I'll have to nail a woman who's clearly teasing me. Otherwise, I just shut down inside, and later, just leave if I can. I wasn't looking for this.
-
@Kshantivadin Good to know, except I wasn't open to it, nor wanted this to happen. Though I'm making myself laugh too.

@universe Oh, the ending was that one of the librarian teachers came by, to silence chatter coming from the other tables. I saw how the three girls clammed up when the teacher came. I took that opportunity to get up, leave my book, and leave them. I felt annoyed by this situation because I'm ugly on that day, and did not signal whatsoever my interest on them. I was getting into the book I was reading. Maybe I was acting strange somehow, or looked strange, so they decided to ambush me. I don't know, I know enough about body language and tonality that they were not hitting me up for sure. I was caught off guard.
-
@Lyubov I'll keep that in mind. Although in future I'm less likely to sit in college libraries for the time being. I just found it strange they wanted to sit where I'm at, because I'm pretty messy looking myself. I didn't even give them any excuses either, just replied matter of fact, straight, no friendliness. That one girl did sound like she was picking on me a bit. I think that's were my defensiveness came up. Yeah, let it go I guess.

@RendHeaven Was not my priority back then.

@Raze I'd give a degree of the benefit of the doubt that her presentation, and the responses to her word usage, is valid enough. Would a different punishment be acceptable? Probably, as I'm not involved nor have insider knowledge in handling these situations, nor have full context of situation. However, I'm also careful when it comes to reverse engineering behaviors like body language, and tonality, because such assessments are mostly context dependent, so I have to have that full conversation before verifying that the punishment afterwards is just. Additionally, some people have abnormalities to their behavior, bodily or speech wise, that makes it trickier to be certain that this person has this mindset exclusively. For example, I've seen some people falsely treated my friend's behavior as aggressive, or in a foul mood, yet this was his baseline behavior, and also partly influenced by how he was raised in his family, and his relationship with one of the family members was negative, and partly from the negative feedback. Some people who have social misalignment tend to give mixed signals, which make it harder to conclude if this is the entire mindset of this person. Am I biased to favor my friend's side of the story? Yes, and because of my time spent with him, I know his normal state far more than a stranger's first impression would have him otherwise. How did this conversation get released in the first place?

@Milos Uzelac This is likely China's strategy going forward with Taiwan. -

@Mafortu Probably. However, like I've said so many pages ago, Crysty has a personality that sometimes likes to prank on me. If You fly over, and present a picture in front of me, eyes closed, there's no guarantee I'll answer correctly 100%. Now I've got above average intuition, so however that works, I get the impression, and the answer can form in a number of ways, like a mental image, or memory of a related object, or a sound, which can occur with or without Crysty's input. For example, I get the intuition it's an elephant, and this could be the right answer. However, there's still so much room for interpretation, like the age, or the type of elephant, or it's color, or the situation the elephant is in, or if there are other objects in the image besides elephant. One example of Crysty joking with me is telling me the wrong color, a color that's similar to the genuine one. If she's not in a pranking mood, and is helping me, she adds many more layers of meaning to this intuitive answer, such that it quickly, experientially, feels more complete. Of course, this also depends on your good faith. You've already decided things about me, my situation, so the test is already on shaky grounds. For example, you want to flat out debunk me, so you already thought of ways to make my answers wrong on a high degree. Or you do believe me, and might have supernatural abilities I know nothing of yet, and use them to nudge my intuition, or Crysty's answer, such that I answer correctly. Who knows. It's already hard to prove this if we are operating under materialism or science in a traditional frame work, which already leans more against the existence of spirits and other such intangible forms of life. -

@BipolarGrowth You could also include the act of saving the victim as a selfish act as well. Instead of the motive being that you are god or out of compassion, instead the more seflish motive is because you have been training in the gym, or martial arts, and saving is justification for all the training you did finally, the struggles were worth it. Or to be seen as a heroic person, like in a movie, and get back than manly feeling you lost. Or to hook up with the hot chick, because, well, you payed the guy earlier to attack the woman, to create that situation in the first place for her to see you in an empowering light, a very dependable partner in the future. And so on. -

@Danioover9000 Also, this man's content is pretty good for physiological health of the body. At times I'm reminded of people who do taichi, and seeing his movements they are nicely flowing. If most people are like this, then there would be less need to instigate conflicts with each other. Less need to fight physically, and less need for people to argue and bicker. -
@Paul5480 I remember this guy. He was talking shit to one of the pigs he owns, feeding it a fish carcas, and making a speach about how people are like this pig, so switch to eating fruits. For a supposed 'sage', I guess the behaviour is fitting. The wild pig on the other hand is just being, enjoying chomping on some meat. I wonder what it thinks and feels if it understood the owner's attitude to it? Also, it's actually not massive, for a Hawaii wild pig.

@anxious_turtle She communicates usually by either touching the plant, patting it, smelling, and looking. At least this is how it seems to me. Mushrooms she communicates the same, and to her they are more different than flowers or other veggies and fruits she interacts with, when I'm around or while I'm busy and unavailable for play. Her favourite movies are Avatar and Jurassic park. She also likes b rated movies and sometimes movies that are bad yet entertaining, like Sharktopus and Velocipreacher. Depending on mood, what movies she watches would change as well. She thinks that humans killing each other, or for food, is a basic thing for humans to be in, living in the physical. Plus, they are a weird bunch. If she had to survive, she'd piggy back on me to help her survival. Generally, she doesn't have deep thoughts about people, other than me, and also she wouldn't mind being a human if it means she'd spend more time with me. Otherwise, she's not interested. Her favourite games tend to be colourful and platform, like Mario or Super metroid. She also tends to like the first games if those games are a series, as to her the first games are higher quality and more creative than the other releases. She also borrows some of my memories of video games I've played. She sometimes likes board games, as long as she could take breaks frequently to do other things as she feels bored quicker than me. The majority of physical objects and other creatures don't scare her much, as they just pass through her. Losing me, or fading away, is probably her main fears. Other fears are shared by me, so if I see a spider, or a bee flying past me, the feeling of fear I feel she feels similarly. -

@Willie This is useful information to some extent, for letting go of hurt for being falsely accused, negative feelings like vengefulness, and for the thought stories that maintain a victim mentality, in either case. However, this should not be the only method used. There are many ways other than forgiveness and letting go that can address specific features of this problem, and other methods that could go deeper into the problem, resolve it at it's roots. -
@Bogdan My main point is that an elimination diet solves the problem temporarily. Temporarily. It provides some relief. That is much better than being in agonizing pain. This does not mean being in carnivore diet for your whole life. Leo is doing this temporarily. Dog analogy is bullshit, sorry. Humans have selectively bred wolves with traits desirable for humans to utilize, hence we have dogs. I get your point, that if you had your way, humanity would be so much simpler to understand. That is not the case. Humans are complex bull shitting animals. Have you considered that Leo has tried Gojiman's approach, and the treatment didn't work, and out of not causing you stress and depression, that he decided to not explicitly say otherwise, to not hurt your ego?

@Jacob Morres I do agree that both sides, the accused and the accuser(s), need to be heard, in court. There can be too much faith put into believing the ones doing the accusing, vs believing the accused side. Or sometime the other way around. We could implement changes in court proceedings, from gathering poofs and evidence for each side, to include lie detector tests as valid piece of evidence, to consider body language analyses as valid evidence in trail. We could also consider recorded video tapes, text messages, online posts, emails, letters, and any recordings, digital or analogue, as relevant pieces of evidence in the case of proving either the truthfulness or untruthfulness of the accusation in question. Let's not forget that eye witness testimony, expert testimonies, and recordings from interrogation can count in the trail. However, there are challenges in implementing each change. When it comes to using lie detector tests as valid proof of truth, in proving the accuser was lying, or the defendant was lying, is not 100% full proof evidence. For example, the procedure in conducting the lie detector test is not in controlled settings, like the subject was under duress by one of the detectives, or the specialist operating the machine, which could influence the recording. Also, first few questions either fail to establish baseline, or some questions were open ended, or assume certainty, that could influence the subject's physiological reactions. Prior to conducting the lie detector test, the subject might be stressed beforehand. It is therefore important that if this is considered valid to be used as evidence, that the procedure is conducted properly such that it would not be ruled as invalid evidence to be used by either the accused or the accuser. Also, body language analysis, will it may have approximately a 75% chance of proving likelihood of proving truthfulness or deception in either subjects responses to questions, the remaining 25% of uncertainty could leave room for errors and doubt that either lawyer could use to prove their case. For example, if there was trauma that resulted, either in actual rape, then the subconscious signals in the body, from the face, to the arms, to breathing, hand gestures, muscle tensions in responses, quality of voice, and general positioning of the legs and feet, while sitting or standing, in context of being in trial, could only be considered maximumly as likelihood of trauma that a lawyer could argue, from deeper probing into the accuser's personal history, that likely resulted from child abuse rather than from the rape in question. There's also the case that body language analysis is highly context sensitive, and still open to some degree of interpretation, such that if there was rape, and if the experience was intense, then the general state the accuser would be in, let's say states of apathy like depression, solitude or defeat, as the new normal state their consciousness would be in. This leads to many more variables that complicate body language analysis, such that the signals might be misinterpreted as deception. Another issue is considering the range of evidence that is valid evidence to be used in body language analysis in proving or disproving the claims of rape, If there were 100 hours of footage, voice call recordings (for vocal analysis), and prior interview and interrogation footage, would this be considered valid instead of the other 10,000 hours of footage, and other pieces of recordings? Should we also consider Chinese face reading as a valid form of evidence to be used? While body language analysis has promising potential, it's more open to misinterpretation. Also, we could use forensic pieces of evidence as a valid way of proving guilt or innocence, from photos taken in physical examinations , to DNA tests. These are more commonly used and does have a higher percentage of proving or disproving a case. However, these pieces of evidence can be subject to recontextualization. For example, DNA test can prove that the accused is the one that had sexual intercourse with the victim in question, this does not exactly prove rape. The lawyer could argue that the accuser is known to be promiscuous, prone to having one night stands. Or there was already intimacy in the relationship between the accused. Or that both are known, from witness testimonies to recordings, to roleplay in rape scenarios as their way of having a different sexual intercourse, and have written consent, or vocal consent. The photos taken also suffer from changes in context. The accuser could have inflicted self injuries, or hired somebody to inflict injuries, then file a report of sexual abuse. Regarding witness testimonies, we also have to be careful as well. For example, if there's incentive for a favorable outcome, then the prosecution, or defense, or corrupt police could pay people to come forward, to favor the accused or the accuser. -

@Opo You can still take action while in a state of apathy. Clearly the long term solution is to hire guys like this to train cops.
