  1. @Karmadhi As a human being, he's probably a decent guy, but as a dating coach, hmm, not so. He's much better if he is a relationship councillor. The majority of dating has sex at it's core, and at a pretty deep level at that. If you are not comfortable with that, you have no business dealing with dating. I don't know the full context in which calling trump an insecure child is at, but like it or not, a man with that level of ambition, drive, and charisma, specifically in dating, is attractive. Any other area of life or development is a varied experience, there are some contexts that too much ambition can be detrimental, but sometimes important in others.
  2. Yep, people forgot, whether you are eating a piece of meat, a plant, an insect, or something else, at the absolute level, you are eating pieces of god, which wants to experience each piece.
  3. Also, read books about manipulation and exploitation. For example, the 48 laws of power by Robert Green, or Mental Dominance, by (I think) Dr. Haha lung, and his other works. This gets you to see how a mind might look like when they are tapping into stage red world views.
  4. I've seen some people who are creative here that value art, and there are some posts about artwork like painting, music or dances that make one feel more spiritual or some other feeling. I don't see much about comics though, so just like posts that ask what your view is about artwork, what do you think about comics?
  5. @Jacob Morres Ok, that's good you clarified. I was agreeing with your post, on the part about counter intuitive. I talked to quite a lot of people in the past, but it wasn't that effective. After I did a bit of self retrospection, and imagining myself go through many more social situations, it started to do quite well for me. And that practice did really well for me, but I can't say the same for other people as well. This also makes it more counter intuitive as well.
  6. @Windappreciator Supposedly a conversation lol.
  7. @KennedyCarter A conversation, or a debate, between diets and raising consciousness? Which one? A diet is normally a way of eating a food as a lifestyle, which is typically taken for granted as a cultural practice, or sometimes designed by an individual, but sometimes is conflated for changing what foods you eat. For example, elimination diets like abstaining from coffee, or from eating grains, or sugar, and so on one by one for some period of time, is normally considered a diet because you are changing what you eat by not eating that specific food, and substituting for another, like drinking tea, or decaff in place of coffee. Another form of diet is changing the eating window instead of what you eat, like various forms of fasting, which I assume is probably what you're looking for if you seek some synergy between diet and raising consciousness. While there are similarities between the two, there are differences, like if you are formally meditating, you are not eating in that meditation session, and sometimes by yourself or with others, you just eat normally without applying any mindfulness. How is animal products, animal meats and processed food any less spiritual than fruits, nuts and legumes? When you claim that animal products, meats and processed foods are bad for consciousness, how did you know that? Is that from your past experiences with those animal products, meats and processed foods, or from other people's stories, or videos about those animal products, meats and processed foods being claimed as bad for your consciousness? Are you assuming that humans survived by mostly eating just fruits and vegetables, but never hunted and eaten other animals, and insects? Or are you referring to modern day humans now can just survive from only fruits, nuts, and legumes? This is if you are coming at this from a moral view, so if you are, and think eating animals is bad for you, how do you know that eating nuts, fruits and legumes are any worse morally? After all, wide demand for nuts, fruits and legumes demands farming space for these products, which means cutting down wild plants for planting space for nuts, fruits and legumes. Also, these products need to be sprayed with pesticides, because the compact space they grow under makes it easy for pests to spread among the crops. Did you know that some fruits you buy are sometimes seedless? They design this with grapes, and by force make infertile versions of these fruits, regardless if those grapes wanted this or not.
  8. @Jacob Morres Very true, counter intuitive. The best way to socialize is to talk to yourself a lot. Imagine a person, and talk. Developing feelings while talking in the mind, use all other senses. And do a side of self injury, or contemplation or meditation. Do so much internally that when time comes to talk to other people, it is easy, so easy cuz they are you.
  9. I understand what you mean. I also have fear of spiders, and insects in general, especially if I'm jumped out of the blue, like a bee whizzing past my face lol. The bigger it is, the bigger the fear. However, if I have a glass and cup holder, no problem with removing spiders if they happen to be in the house, also young spiders and jumping spiders I have no problems with. It might be more related to how the fast crawling on my skin, plus a potential sting or bit might be were the fear is. Well, fear not, because in a strange loopy way, those creatures are far more fearful of us or anything bigger than them. I don't think while meditating you would pose a threat to them. Try learning some NLP, hypnotherapy and phobia management class. They really have good techniques for most common phobias, and when you get to do self hypnosis and NLP techniques it's ridiculous how you can diminish that fear down to manageable levels.
  10. The main issue isn't that meats are carcinogenic, the deeper issue is what camp you are self identified with, a vegan or meat lover? Who you are as a self construct determines what values you prefer, qualities about you and resources you have along that self image and meta modal. If you are vegan, you have a self identity that over values plant consumption, animal welfare and environmental protection and nature, and narratives that support these values. Typically, the minds of Vegans have a distorted perspective about themselves as lesser than another person's perspective and non-human perspectives, which is why these have a greater empathy and compassion for animals and plants, even other people, but often have a self worth issue and sometimes suffer from group think, people pleasing and being a doormat. Sometimes this type over values their own perspective and could be more combative. The same problem exists with those that identify as meat lovers. They have a different distortion of the mind's perspective, sometimes their own perspective is greater than another, and non-human perspectives, and have a different narrative compared to a vegan's. They sometimes are more combative as well overall, as on average they do value themselves more than others and non-humans. The more important skill is noticing when you start feeling defensive, in whichever camp you are, and learning to see the other's perspective, and learn from that.
  11. Well, you did, as a self concept, with enormous help from environment and society, for sure, on the relative domain. Then poof, the significance of this is deleted, distorted and generalized by the mind, with many of it's mental representations of reality, like sight, sound, body-senses, smell, taste, and the voice that self talks and has other human voices it stores so far, until it's normal felt, not magical.
  12. @Danioover9000 Also, I may have mentioned this before, but there is also a location that she comes and goes to, and sometimes, either in my meditation or while I'm dreaming, I could follow her there. The experience is comparable to vividness, between a series of dreams that happens while in deep sleep, and a lucid dream that occurs at the peak of REM sleep cycle, so my recollection is not on point, and also due to my subconscious parts of that location resembles parts of living spaces I had lived in. Crystal like, and green, is the consistent characteristic, as the location and landscape does change every time. Lately, I have seen plant like objects in that location I had recently visited.
  13. @Endangered-EGO Well, I fit somewhere in that spectrum myself potentially, but it's not as severe as catatonic schizophrenia. However, I did experience a haunting many decades ago, and currently have a paranormal situation in my life where I see a non physical friendly entity that comes and goes with me. The recent one isn't intense that it interferes with daily life, but the haunting in my childhood did, but I'm lucky to be alive. I could likely be mild schizophrenia also, as another trait of people with that is they struggle with metaphors but do well with literal meanings. All this considered, if I do psychedelics, I am definitely micro dosing first, integrating that experience for a while, and slowly build up, taking notes about any insights and give myself weeks to months to process the experiences. I also get what you mean with de-personalizaton/de-realization disorder. I did self inquiry, the neti neti method many years ago, and while I did get a glimpse of nothingness, it depersonalized me, and I had depression for about a month which I recovered for the most part. It seems to me that there are always risks doing psychedelics rashly, and also spiritual techniques rashly. You could keep going and list risks of different types and degrees in each part of life, but the common denominator of those risks is the ego, other egoes and ignorance, so it's always a good idea to research beforehand.
  14. @Parththakkar12 3D material paradigm. Now we're talking.
  15. Posts like this, and Leo's recent video on the dangers of psychedelics, gave me some respect for the folks who discovered these substances for the first time and had no clue what would happen to them. I can't imagine what it's like, taking a psychedelic or delirient with zero knowledge beforehand. That's like discovering detura for the first time, GG and GL, haunted houses here I come.
  16. @Endangered-EGO Could you list me some signs of schizotypal personality disorder? Is it like mild schizophrenia?
  17. @tashadwoodfall Are you sure that was the Covid virus? Did you test positive for it?
  18. @assx95 Listen to some heavy metal, go do some body exercises, martial arts, and integrate your stage red shadow. Learn how a typical stage red thinks, feels, and emulate parts of that. Also learn how to set boundaries. Always good to be mindful, and correct that behaviour in the spot, asap especially if the person wasn't aware if the behaviour was bothering you, and also to clearly see where the other stands as well. And look forward to being challenged and being assertive, it's the closest thing to being in that thrill state in a civilised setting, whereas in the past sometimes it has to get violent to be resolved, and that is even more lively, charged with energy.
  19. @GrandeOrso There you go. Go and create, and explore. Get many new experiences. Put stuff on the table, even though now you know the table is meaningless, put some meaning.
  20. @Gesundheit2 Actually, the lower ego comes from the left brain and amigdala. The frontal one is the super ego, the judging part of it.
  21. @Myagooshki I think this was covered in NLP, where when it comes to qualities about the self concept you are currently, and the qualities of a future role you want to be in, the person could map across a working quality and imagine it applying to the future role. This could include using techniques like calibration, anchoring, reframing, mapping across sub modalities, eliciting values, parts integration, establishing a timeline for past and future.
  22. @Cubbage I think this is the video.
  23. Is this the one @Leo Gura ?
  24. @Leo Gura Please make a video on dealing with haters and trolls part 2.
  25. This is a nice brief video, reminds you of anything?: Appreciate what moderators go through.
