@zurew For example, there was a video in some strength training website, about classic strength training, featured in national Geo wild/history program, and the video was showing how Eddie Hall and other modern pro strength athletes, could not lift a 100 pound dumbbell that had an inch in diameter grip, because they lacked the grip strength to overcome the thick handle, which was designed by one of the older strength athletes who had a much smaller physique, but despite appearances is insanely strong. But even that video was unavailable in my country! -

@something_else I think for some people it must feel really nice complaining about somebody else. All this user has done in the majority of being in this forum, is mostly complain either about a successful figure, or about Veganism and a bit of both. I wish I had some of that time to complain, to understand what's so appealing with complaining, but I have auditions to go to, and a few movies to star in, so I'm too busy for that. In fact, Joe Rogan could also be acting on purpose, for the views, and fool us into thinking he's genuinely believe in what he says. -

@Dazgwny We'll see when they actually find one. -
@itachi uchiha Yes, I think we all can agree that propaganda is difficult to break. Interlude, what's the story of your profile pic?

We're soon gonna need VPN's and other crypto ways to view these vids. If you think age restrictions are annoying, wait until you see it's unavailable in your country, that's the real annoying one to deal with. -

@Yarco Ground breaking discovery. I can easily see how this could lead to further advances like time or parallel world travelling as possible in a few centuries. -

@MarkKol Also a factor is nostalgia and the gap of difference between current art and past art. I look at demonslayer or Boruto, and the factors like art quality, animation, line work, values, sounds, production, narrative structurex and compare them to past manga/anime works like Berserk 1990 anime/manga, or the Sailor moon and it's entire 5 seasons, and I can't help see current forms of art as inferior in terms of high quality and skill needed to produce mangas like Berserk, or animation and colouring like the classic Sailor moon series. It's like comparing this age of abstract woke artists to those of the renaissance like Leonardo da Vinci or Michelangelo, and their masterful level of knowledge and skill needed to paint or sculpt a masterpiece, and other inner qualities that needed to be developed to match that level of quality. Or, comparing badly drawn western comics or mangas that are lately cropping up, to works from David Funch or Alen Moore, or to Sennin mangakas that made Vinland Saga, Vagabond and Berserk. It's insane how much training is needed, and how little current artists appreciate past excellence when they see it. It's like a hidden jealousy that some of those types of artists are not aware of, or in denial, of the possibility of there actually being inferior and superior art works.

@Ulax I think you meant the opposite, that society, mainly 1st world democracies, programmes young men that their needs are only met by becoming and being in tradition roles of men, or some roles related to either labour or knowledge work in an office environment. I don't think society encourages young men to become and be players and gigalos, in fact mostly the opposite. -

@SOUL It is important. Half of the males in this world are clueless in whether they are alpha, beta, sigma, omega, romeos, gamma and deltas. That's a serious issue, just like how black/blue/red pill, MGTOW, and Incels are serious issues and considered ideologies, well they are misunderstood. Misunderstanding is what made those issues crop up. -

@SQAAD Again, I keep reminding people this, but he is a comedian. Don't take everything he says seriously, he is likely joking. How about learn to become and be in that state of being authentic and comedic, rather than being negative and offended, thinking it's seriously meant. -
I have mixed opinions about redpill. Most of it is BS, but some of it does make sense, if we're talking about young adults here. Past that, plus more life experiences you have, it loses it's effectiveness, and becomes obsolete over time because the person is too busy dating, fucking and managing relationships to entertain redpill theories. This opinion comes from an Incel omega male, so take it with a grain of salt and pepper.

@Superfluo Flexing and isometrics works for me, to at least preserve fast twitch muscle fibres and improve mind muscle connections. Size to me isn't helpful nor important, in fact bigger muscles can be detrimental long term, so my ideal physique is lean. Nutrition is important, but also sleep quality is even more.

@Alex_R A mindset being considered toxic is relative to if that is the only mindset available to that person. For example, if cognitively you are thinking in constant negative thought patterns, inner sights/sounds/feelings summing up negativity, and are not aware of other ways of thinking, other mindsets, then that person will not be aware that their mindset is toxic, as the materialistic/pragmatic/utilitarian worldview isn't just a notion but an actual real world view to them. When a person who is more right brained (intuitive, holistic, emotional, non rational) personality traits, interacts with a rationale, pragmatic/utilitarian viewing personality, the differences makes it seem toxic, but it's only toxic from the POV of the artsy person, and vice versa, when some contexts come into play. Also, differences in value systems, moral development, states of being, and life experiences and other lines of development, are a factor. But that doesn't mean the pragmatic person is evil. That view has a place and time that is necessary to have.

Art and business, to me, exists in a spectrum. At first, we can make distinctions between the two, but the too are interconnected such that either end empowers the other.

I came across this video, and the channel, for people who like drawing, painting and art work involving a mark making tool onto a surface medium, might like the channel. https://youtu.be/TX4IdBPB_Ko What are your thoughts about this?

Danioover9000 replied to ZenAlex's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@SOUL It's extremely important to figure out and understand not just an individual's ego development, cognitive and moral development, states, personality traits, and lines of development from different domains of life experiences, but also to understand a group or country's ego collective, and otger societal factors, that make it up. Otherwise we remain ignorant of that person or culture. How one understands these things is numerous enough to still work un creativity. -

@Hardkill My take is that how Russia loses, if it's inevitable, is important. If Russia loses too much face, it will retaliate extremely hard, even risking WW3 and throwing caution to the wind. So, we ideally want to offer Russia a way to not lose too much face, so we have to negotiate carefully. For example, Ukraine being a member of NATO is threatening too much to Putin, the kremlin and some parts of Russia bordering NATO due to ideological differences, so whatever the aftermath is, when the USA and others are at the negotiation table with Russia, behind closed doors, making and stipulating that Ukraine can be an EU member, for the economy, but not a member of NATO, will give them a way to escape and save face. And if Russia is also concerned that the Ukraine will surpass it economically, part of the agreement might include some percentage that goes to Russia. This is one example, but whether it would be like this is another matter. In the long term, the USA should be more concerned with China and with the disputed claims of owning the Islands.
