@Danioover9000 Yes, I've picked up on the subtle change of tone, which is a bit concerning to me, for other reasons partly in context to this thread, and outside it. It's interesting, because if you bring up his video about anger part 1, because you can tell his lack of experience with anger shows in that video. Same also is shown in the current video. Honestly, a person can give a good effort, but not matter what, if you actually lack the life experience, you can't empathize higher and it feels fake. Not to say that the fakeness is con artistry, but that does give that impression. Of course, the reality is that we're getting more and more people with mental health problems, along with their usage of social media worsening the issue, which both not only makes it harder to watch an hours long video, but poses a long term risk to Actualized.org making the kind of impact it wants world wide, yet mental health problems are increasing world wide as well.

Why is the latest blog post another meme, that's dumb?

JP talking about Twitter: Funnily enough, while there are many differences, there are some similarities to Leo's recent video on the evolution of Actaulized.org, one example being the use of the metaphor of the signal and noise.

@Thought Art I have a bit. I remember times when I had to do a presentation in front of classes, and to speak to strangers in parties that I struggled a bit, from my tone of voice, to body language and other insecurities around my looks, lack of self confidence and esteem. What sort of helped me a little bit is to view it as a manipulation framing, like my communication is also my way of promoting and marketing myself. Look at how good sales people do this, so I want that level. That kind of helped me a bit short term.

@acidgoofy I agree, although the comments section isn't as good.
-
@StarStruck I agree, that was what I was trying to point out to other users here besides the OP, as the other users were more aggressive with their opinions. Seems like their left part of the ego was a bit offended.
-
@thisintegrated No, it's just some reactions to JP's rhetoric against the left. Yes, that's why JP made the video.

@ZenAlex Yes, I'm serious with having had a haunting experience in my childhood, and seeing a spirit, while leading a functional life currently. No, I'm not suffering psychotic symptoms, I am sober while experiencing these supernatural events. You don't have to claim to prove spirits don't exist, but you insinuate you can, by claiming my experiences as akin to hallucinations. I don't like your close mindedness to my situation. Open yourself to the possibility, that not all people who experience paranormal events are loonies, unless you are too afraid to consider that normal people can have paranormal experiences, and that supernatural events are real, in which case you have already made your mind up, to which I can't persuade or convince you of my point of view as you are too scared to be open to my experiences. Cheers. -
@Mindful Bum I'll write back after watching the video.

@Razard86 I'm sorry, but if you want to attack me properly, quote me properly. That statement came from my post that outlays the complexity of this issue first from a developmental perspective, before I reminded some of you you have an LP, somewhere, waiting to be discovered, if only you stopped complaining. That was it, simple. Hahaha, I don't care for arguing and debating, I don't care for people's so called opinions on JP as personal attacks, nor personal attacks, and I don't care. I just noticed a pattern that some users find themselves stuck in, like a broken record, repeating negative talking points against JP, which was also what made me stuck in the past.

@Phil777 Exactly.

Update: Crysty has improved a bit and I have gained more understanding of spatial mindscapes. In fact, she has led me to a series of videos, each one addressing different points of topics I was interested in, ending with one about art, perspective and vanishing points: https://youtu.be/YDanHdjPJVs -
@BlueOak I guess it makes no sense to me why you and other extremists here with a JP hatred get triggered by him. Maybe it's a stage blue/orange shadow that you gen z and millennials have. Not saying that you should hold it in, I'm saying feel that lack and repression inside you, and check if you actually have out grown JP also others too who shit post on JP. I'm okay, if you're complaining a little bit from a more developed perspective, but I'm not okay if you just blindly complain from a lack of experiences, or from repression. That's when we have a problem.

@Craigxt22 Yes, Rice and pasta contains a bit less glutton, but with rice there's the other problem of heavy metals like arsenic, depending on brand and where that rice product came from, and with pasta it's should be okay. The other problem with wheat, and with increasing your fiber intake, is if the fiber intake is too high for you, you'll poop harder stools, increasing your likelihood of other digestion problems of too high fiber. This is why I don't like whole meal or steel cut oats, or brown rice/pasta. Test yourself if you can mix vinegar, like malt vinegar or balsamic vinegar. Apple cyder vinegar with honey is great. Also check out fermented foods like sour krauts and similar fermented foods like that.

@BeachBliss Assuming you consume those psychedelics orally, as teas, be careful not to spill some on your t-shirt or pants. Stains are very difficult to remove unless you use something like CLR(Calcium, lime and rust), or bleach.

@jimwell I assume they have cycling zones in the sidewalks? Depending on the cycling ability of the person, obviously don't cycle on sidewalks in case you hit pedestrians. God forbid a cyclist hits a baby carriage. -
Danioover9000 replied to no_name's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Arcangelo Best country for cycling is in Holland and other Scandinavian countries, they practically designed their paths with cycling in mind. I wish here cyclists get tickets for riding on highways and sidewalks. A week ago almost got into a fight with a cyclist that nearly hit me on the sidewalk. Unbelievable. -
@BlueOak Yes, this is common for almost everybody, like why won't you attempt to empower yourself in some way, in comparison to those in your competitive field? Yes, nothing wrong with calling people to work together to achieve peace. Yes, always time for self reflection and improvement, although that depends on the context. Running from an attacker? Good luck self retrospection there. Yes, this builds common ground, stating common values one may have to build some kind of band wagon, or common grounds. Nothing wrong here. Yes, JP sort of straw mans the left a bit, as most people of Islam is likely stage blue/orange or blue/red values, obviously good idea short term to create an enemy to further build a cause worth banding together and working towards, all correct, from his point of view. Yes, it's a problem if those are more developed, but be careful that you look down on JP for this. In any day and age, you could easily be JP. Where exactly did he label life values as satanic? He's making a comment that deep down, you have the devil inside you. Course, open to interpretation, to me he's talking briefly about your ego. Yes, he's encouraging people to live their values, why is it bad? That's like if you told me you found your LP, I'd encourage you to explore that and express that outwards. Given what JP had to experience so far, this playing the victim is anticipated. Again, put yourself into JP's life, easily could have been you. Yes, nothing bad with giving a platform to those who want to voice their view. A podcaster does this also, and many others do. Yes, makes sense to herald a book when that book makes up part of your worldview.

@Ulax Dude, what do you expect from a seven minute motivational video? It's not some 30 minute or hours long video of what and how to over come blame in one's community, over come sociological and political obstacles, not just within Islam but with other various sects within their religious orders. At least, relative to JP, being a Caucasian Christian professor of psychology, it's actually some feat for him to be a little bit humble in his message. Also, do you think it's easy to spot one's epistemic blind spots? Fuck no! It takes a higher, more developed intrapersonal, philosophical and existential intelligence to see, hear and even feel something is off. There's very few people similar to Leo that can pull that off, as if it's obvious that there's a problem. A lot of factors like one's stage of development, cognitive and moral development, personality typing, states of being, and especially life experiences and other lines of development, as well as upbringing and the type of mind/body you have, determines how easy or how difficult it is to be aware of one's blind spots. A conservative who rarely goes on vacation, spends 30 plus years living in a country, is vastly different and lower in development than a conservative that grew up moving to various other countries, that spent 2-5 years in each one, with 2-3 other languages spoken and thought in, with a richer experiences in overall life domains.
-
@Razard86 It is possible, because we not only have multiple types of intelligences, we also have varying degrees of each one. Some people have low intrapersonal intelligence(self awareness of one's ego) to high intrapersonal intelligence. Yes, JP has higher interpersonal intelligence of other's psychology, and varying degrees of mathematical, linguistic, bodily, spatial, nature, philosophical and existential intelligences. There are varying degree of cognitive development as well, so just because JP is lower in the existential/philosophical and intrapersonal intelligence, doesn't mean he's evil, he's where he's at in his stage of development, cognitive and moral development, personality typing, states of being, and life experiences he has had plus other lines of development. Most people would not be self aware kf their delusions, just as much as you were before coming to Actualized.org. There was a time in your life you weren't aware of your delusions, so don't be judgemental of JP too quickly. So, JP shouldn't be paid and lead his LP the way he wants to? Careful, I could flip this back at you, like what makes it justified you should be paid for your LP, while JP shouldn't? When I said I don't like participating in this tier 1 pissing contest, and be part of the hate bandwagon, I mean that some users here are so hateful and biased against JP that I can feel the negativity, and I don't want any of that as it wastes my time and energy. I can clearly see the hate in how you write, and how others who hate JP write their opinions of him. I ain't got time for that, as I'm busy with my life purpose, and so should you. Go work your LP instead of JP complaining.
-
@Razard86 I see it clear as day, I just don't like to participate in this tier 1 pissing the strawman we hate bandwagon. Yes, just as he's consciously causing himself an auto immune disorder, SIBO, and depression, taking anti depressant medication. But hey, he's got his LP so far and doing well enough to be hated for speaking his perspective.

Common to rare causes for acne: Diet rich in sugar, salt, fat, corn syrups and other corn derivatives, inorganic wheat products and especially dairy, can cause acne progression and flare ups due to chemicals and preservatives and other substances in milk, yogurt and cheese as those can over burden one's lymphatic system. All those toxic build ups from junk foods over burdens the lymphatic system. Hormonal system going through changes, can cause acne, when you're going through puberty. Internal to external stress, also causes acne, as stress has a net negative to over all health. certain types of skin like oily skin types, perspiration and not cleaning skin properly, causes pores to be blocked which can lead to acne. Lack of sleep, and inactivity for too long can lead to some acne. sleeping in a hotter temp room, leads to acne. Make sure to take care of sleeping conditions. Over thinking sexual thoughts, leads to more acne. Masturbate when you have to masturbate, and move on. Not cleaning yourself properly, after exercise or sex, leads to more acne.

Danioover9000 replied to SQAAD's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@SQAAD Are you sure you have exhausted the value his work provided to you? For example, have you read his books, videos, did the exercises and have developed character qualities in you like responsibility, home management first? What vibe are you talking about? The two videos you've provided are highly biased, and they offer far more ridicule than any amount of ridicule JP could dish back, so I don't think you're sources are right, especially Vegan Gains being the bigger bigot and clown. People act like that, because our education system does not teach thinking critically enough, spiral dynamics, developmental psychology, ego development, all these basic to advanced topics covered here. If they did, we wouldn't be blindly worshipping JP, but here we are, JP did not do this to us, we did this to us. At least JP still offers value and has found his LP at the moment, I'd rather listen to him than to you, a random user. At least tell me you've found and are working on your LP? Be careful ridiculing someone because of their mental and physical health, as these are still significant factors besides stages of development, cognitive and moral development, personality traits, states of consciousness, life experiences and other lines of development like wealth, career, relationships, health, fitness, leisure, home environment and spirituality. Especially genetics and body composition, those factors heavily limit what potentially you could do LP wise, and it just happens that based on his diet, nutrition, different types of stresses mentally, physically and emotionally has resulted in an auto immune disorder that pressured him into adjusting his diet to eventually that of high protein to moderate fat diet. Making light of someone's condition, has a funny way of backfiring on the one negatively judging. If you don't like him, click on the icon that doesn't recommend his channel, plus not interested. However, by doing so, you've further locked yourself in your echo chamber, so really make sure you got all the value you can out of JP before leaving him behind. -
@SamC He's correct, spiritually speaking you are the devil, deep inside you. Politically he is partially correct, but again his value is his psychological understanding, while it's reductionistic and limited to the big five modal, still has useful insight for those wishing to integrate stage blue to orange. I don't like your framing though, which isn't accurate to the video you've linked. You make it sound like he's unhinged, but he isn't really, just has a limited perspective politically and lacks the understanding of the spiral stages, cognitive and moral development, broad psychological modals, states of being, other life experiences and other lines of development made him the way he is. However, last 70 seconds he spoke positively to those in the muslim community, to try and unite both the Sufis and shiats together even though he's a successful Caucasian guy. Very similar to Eminem, he dissed Donald Trump and called him out on his bs in a rap cypher, using the success and power to leverage a voice to the black community, despite being white himself he worked his ass off, 20 plus years of rapping in that community to be able to leverage that and lend his voice to the minority that suffered a bit under Trump, Jorden Peterson is likewise similar, leveraging his position and many decades of experiences in psychology so far to deliver a message to the muslim community, despite being white and partly Christian. By his standards, he thinks he's right in saying things, from his perspective.

It depends on stages of development, cognitive and moral development, psycholody, states of being, life experiences and other lines of development that the family decides wether to be more or less welcoming in meal times. Because most of them value family matters during dinner time, and one of many ways that is expressed is through dinner time, you could say they have stage blue values, but on other societal aspects they could be more etage orange, green or even yellow.
