Another interesting video: -
Follow up video, of Destiny fans demanding Nick to be called a Nazi:
-
What a bumper.
-
@Epikur No, Destiny has put himself into a corner. Hope to God, he can save himself somehow. kind of like how he recovered from being banned from Twitch.
-
@Space I can relate to the feeling and dread. I'm hard at training myself the skillsets to become a really good illustrator, then all of a sudden a A.I program can not only draw, but draw decently enough that it reminds me of how A.I learned chess or Chinese Go, they spent some time doing basic mistakes but over time learn from them to eventually becoming very good. I hate that feeling At the moment, maybe using A.I generated pictures for references and further inspiration?

A show of hands: Who agrees and voted for Biden's student loan relief? -
The sad thing about this entire issue, so now Destiny has dug his grave, and is under sunk cost fallacy because to admit Nick is explicitly a Nazi makes him look optically very bad, but also being friendly a little bit to him while giving and sharing some of your streaming time with him, makes you look soy and a Nazi sympathizer later on in history. So effectively, Destiny, whatever excuses he makes to justify his decision, has fucked up royally.

@Roy He is a prime example of being too intelligent makes you dumber.

@Devin How so? -
I agree, the video is very hilarious.
-
Nice demonstration of the limits of justification, and how justification is weaponized by the ego mind.

Really worth the watch, and the prior two videos for the concepts of this video: And a bonus point, a cheeky attack on the reliability of psychedelics and how it integrates with spirituality. Clearly not a shots fired Thoughts and feelings comment down below.

My first impressions, I really want to fucking rap battle Mr. Girl so badly now LOL!

Well said. Sometimes taking and letting go a negative at 5% is far more practical than to create drama and argue for that 5% cost. Shows how the majority are still addicted to drama. -
@Carl-Richard I'll use myself as an example of what I mean about living with various contradictions. I'm moderate conservative and protestant, but that's a contradiction because of my rich experiences in life, from travelling to several countries and interacting with radically different cultured peoples, that technically would make me a cosmopolitan. I've had paranormal and supernatural experiences in my life, but that doesn't invalidate my rationality of other things in life, and while I am a skeptical person, that doesn't mean I blindly attack others religious beliefs or paranormal experiences, in fact sometimes I attack the debunking skeptic for their close mindedness and blind belief in science. I am strongly introverted, but I also socialize to a minimum, while preferring to keep to my friend circle and family way more than meeting strangers. While I am a highly understanding and empathetic person, there are still things and situation I don't understand nor want to empathize with.

@Thought Art I can understand and empathize where you're coming from because of my development in stages, cognition, morality, personality type, state of being, life experiences and other lines of development. My role modals in the past were accused, falsely or not, for evil acts, for example with Michael Jackson and Eminem, and others outside the music context. However, I have good news: this is a temporary phase to go through, and you'll emerge from this a much stronger person, who'll make very creative music for thousands of listeners that're interested in your music.

I'm just pointing out how this debt relief can and sometimes is weaponized to recruit you into an ideology just because they saved you in the past, and there's numerous examples in history and other countries worldwide doing this. But that doesn't mean to not vote for Biden. Go vote for him and his policies, if those policies benefit you and it makes sense to you and it's aligned with your integrity. -

Also, if I was Machiavellian, this is also what I'd do, make you feel relieved and in debt to me and my party, because I lifted your debt for you, made you feel relief and a sense of gratitude for me, so now or later vote for me and my party okay? Similar dynamics that China has done to other countries. In history, before WW2, Spain was in debt to German and owed millions of Euros to them. In an alternative path, if Hitler was much more manipulative and had less paranoia towards Generals, he could have relieved them of that national debt, provided they ally with Germany against France and Great Britain later, which can give him additional buffer towards the western expansion and allowed Germany to secure and concentrate more towards the eastern hemisphere and deal with Russia. -

Can we all agree, that not matter whether the policy looks exploitative or beneficial, that fundamentally politics is highly manipulative? -
I guess the main issue, is if a person can live with inconsistent internal values while living with an external environment not designed in alignment to that one person's value system?

@BlueOak Great post with some good points. On just the war bit, yes one of the factors is when the collectives of both countries/nations are strongly attached to their national identity, that when there's any conflict between those nations it can trigger some type of war. There's a greater factor in war though, that is far more common in history, which isto gain additional resources in terrain, assimilation of a weaker culture/tribe, and the biggest driver of war: increase in sex. -

@Brittany Exactly, it's not a black and white issue, it's an issue of can anyone see, understand and empathize with the grey areas in between.
