@StarStruck I like how the video you posted is contradictory to what you've posted, and contradicts itself. The video wants to sell you the sinplest, basic way to do NoFap and semen retention, but sets asides the Yoga practices like Kriya Yoga, or Tai Chi and chi hong, or magical means to sexually transmute that energy. I partly agree with just that taking action, until he starts talking and falsely equated our 'ancestors' to the modern human, and conflates their ancient cave man days of living as the solution to our difficulties with dating, real sex and porn addiction. Mediocre video presentation, and nice attenpt at slipping red pill ideology into the talk. I've put aside my skepticism, and stiil am open minded and willing to listen to the part he offers his list of solutions to some of my questions like: How do I know how to transmute sexuality energy? What standards do I use to determine my level of success throough your methods? Which methods are valid? What methodology do you have, that us valid enough that 'beats' and replaces celibacy, prayer, Yoga, tantra, Tai chi, esoteric teachings and practices, creative artworks, and so on? His response: Well, the answer is, to simply love reality like it's the 'ideal' woman, and be kind of like Jesus Christ, even though I've spent several minutes telling you to avoid all that hippie woowoo and new age nonsense. Me: ...okay, so how do U know and take your suggestion? Him: Refers to SD beige, purple and red homosapiens and how they conquer other homosapien females in different tribes, rape them or subjugate them because they horny and so much testosterone, then fast forwards the time machine to SD orange way of life and thinking and take the red pill ideology because women are very gamey, they are gamer girls according to hypergamey, so men, take your red steroids and become giga chads. It's below average and too generic to be helpful, just another way of telling you to strap yourself bu your bootstraps, but doesn't give an overall view of principles, and doesn't list 20+ paths to take, or 50 techniques to start off with. Lazy. All that said, abstinence practifes have their place, time and benefits, I have practiced and confirmed parts of it that it is powerful, with good techniques to sexually transmute energy.

@KH2 I think in the distent future it's a non issue exactly what we eat as a whole, because 1,000 of years later we won't be classical humans, we will be transhuman, part cyborg, part alien, part whatever. We either will continue eating waht we consider today as classic foods, or our diet will mostly be lab grown meats, veggies, fruits, and so on, or in an alien facility. I also look forward to us developing empathy and moral superior to vegans, such that we feel enpathy to the plants to not kill them. We might even eat digital objects. But it's a long journey, and humans are omnivores, and no amount of moral preach, nor hither spiritual insight can deceive what my tongue says: meat tastes GOOD.

Here's the video below that triggered my question into what is resilience really? Spoiler warning, may contain scenes of graphic violence from fighting, and topics covered briefly are mental health but not mental disorders, so if you have mental illnesses going on don't watch video, just skip to my points below: My intuitive, first impression points: 1. I think the video maker has simplistic assumptions of what resilience is, and narrowly defines it and confines it to mainly physical, with some overlap to mental resilience, and very little in terms of energetic and spiritual resilience. 2. I fucking hate how some documentarians include edited clips in of Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson. The video covers mental health and resilience from the context of UFC fighting mostly, so it doesn't need to include shit outside it's context. Assumes the 12 house rules are sufficient to teach everybody. 3. Too many abstractions and taking bits and pieces and elements from other contexts and forcing it into this video, of which the majority of average citizens ain't UFC mixed martial artists, then attempts to give a pseudo remedy for how the commons can raise their resiliency points, like it's a fucking RPG/JRPG game! 4. The author assumes that almost everybody can be like David Goggins, but avoids the elephants in the room, those being the factors of genetics, brain hardwiring, nervous system, body composition, and upbringing in childhood in a dysfunctional environment by dysfunctional people, where the condensed love of those terrible people forces a person to adapt or die. 5. Avoids bringing in specific examples to develop healthier resilience, and vibrancy of life force. For example, he doesn't list out maybe practicing Yoga, or Tai chi as valid methods to increase resilience. Even Brazilian Jiujitsu or some other martial arts training if he wants to stay in topic and context. 6. Misleading title and clip bait, for that this person, regardless of if he wins or loses or leads a mediocre life or the good life of actualization, he is a terrible human being. Screw clicks bait Mo Fos for eternity. My view: It depends on the stage of development, cognitive and moral development, psychology and personality typing, states of consciousness, life experiences and other lines of development, what and how your mind is like and how it represents reality around it through its many senses making apparatuses, at the individual level to the collective level.

Please go and share news stuff recently, that is of low quality for research purposes here. I want a list of bad media coverage, and good media coverage. Doesn't have to be Ukraine-Russia war either. -
@LSD-Rumi About 20 years of my life spent watching cartoons, anime and playing video games. I turn alright.

Very good series, that most people nowadays are sleeping on: Manga: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwitoMSO0ND6AhWIdcAKHV98Dm0QFnoECBQQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Freadberserk.com%2F&usg=AOvVaw1qssMmoABNMXu1QOlEm5PM

@LSD-Rumi Griffith's a great example of antagonist done right, and ambition at its finest, and at its worst. Difficult for me to draw him and get it right without making him look too girly. Originally, he was based on a female character in the one-chapter draft of BERSERK, but the author changed it. I could actually see it working for Griffith if he was a woman, and the whole love triangle between him, Guts and Caska. A female Griffith's god hand design would be different though, since Slan has the demonic angel succubus design, so maybe it would have been a classic angelic design, to serve as heavy contrast to all the demonic designs the Apostles have and the god hand members and the idea of evil? An angelic design, with those eye ribbons around her and her halo being unique, in strange loop structures would have been cool.

@Oeaohoo So many things that listing them here would crash the forum. Also, BERSERK has 100's of sources of inspiration, some from spirituality, philosophy, and Hellraiser. The story structure is also inspired by existentialism and Nihilism, and the Greek tragedy, and so many other sources.

@zurew Nothing beats handmade, old-school animation and colours. As a manga, BERSERK is really good. For example, look at the first 5 seasons of Sailor Moon, gem of an anime series, mixed with the manga, but the old school anime os Sailor Moon, sublime. Sailor Moon in Netflix, Jesus Christ please save me, my eyes have received too many bright and too vibrant colours, all the characters and the background elements are uniformly bright, which precure also suffers from. Old school Sailor Moon animators have great colour theory, how they separate the foreground and midground with just colour. Madoka Magica, both the anime series and the movies are pretty decent, way ahead from other modern day shoujo anime of it's time.

@MarkKol 100% agree, and I don't know why Ufotable won't fuck with the BERSERK or any seinen mange/anime stuff, but they willing to fuck with Fate Stay Night, Fate Zero and another Fate series. If Ufotable gives the BERSERK anime the same quality as Fate Zero, and include manga panels, that's fantastic.

Very interesting video, this is what some Tibetan monks do, create beings or locations in their minds, then destroy them, and rinse and repeat until a peak experience, mystical experience or enlightenment experience or paranormal experience happens. This is training to be GOD on hard to nightmare level/difficulty setting for normal people of modern western divisions. This is what it looks like to do esoteric traditional methods to train this. Appreciate what psychedelics and other combinations of spiritual techniques you do make this training much easier. -
Nice drawing of a person on a cliff, I think the artist is using graphite. Despite the sped-up video, you can observe that he is drawing literally, that kind of drawing style similar to drawing from observation, or what masterful artists in the past would say: 'draw what you see, not what you know.'. I will be breaking this quote down as it's too simplistic to me, and I can see many misunderstandings from this quote, one misinterpretation would be that it would be bad to draw from what you know, instead from what you're seeing, or experiencing. This isn't that case, requiring more context to be built to understand this quote properly, because for me I can draw both what I'm observing in the external world, and in my memories, or in my internal world.

A journal about my progress, and how I use perspective lines and golden ratio, golden sections and camera angles to draw stuff. And other bits about drawing.

@MarkKol Nice post, I agree with most of your points, on the mainstream standards of SD orange and blue standards of business and marketing and selling mangas and anime in general, is just a standard, and then some to a few works, because of those similar standards of repeating themes and production and quality, some of those works like BERSERK, VEGABOND, VINLAND SAGA, Death Note, do stand out. Although with Demon Sayer, I don't think it's good, story is abysmal and it's animation quality is mediocre, but it's a product of mostly the right time in the market and right geopolitical climate, as most countries have to be isolated due to corona virus, so because of that one event, anime watchers and manga readers went shopping online for the series, breaking sales records. However, it's overall a bad series and has bad premises. However, I'm not sure if the Japanese writing/studios, manga and animation industries, are creatively bankrupt. If you brought up western comics and animation studios and story making, especially DC/Marvels/Image works, then the comparison clearly shows that the Japanese equivalents are far more ahead in terms of diversity and creativity, especially with organizing and cataloging each manga and anime they do, compared to their western counterparts. BTW, Steve Jobs is mainly the marketing man with a vision, but the majority of apple's technical engineer and design came from Steve Wozniak. The majority of the work is done by Steve Wozniak, while the marketing and sales pitch by Steve Jobs. While I do partly agree that with little knowledge, it forces you to think deeper and come up with more original ideas, I think the knowledge, learning and research into the technical details is just as important, and in some parts of the creative process, more important to do. So, this hypothetical genius in the future, that would revolutionize the anime/manga industry, has to be both a visionary and marketing genius, while being very knowledgeable and intimately know the processes that make anime and manga, or it's a small team the revolutionizes the industry.

@peebz Two big points that are far more problematic than your take on pornography itself, in any society: When you, or a group of people mindlessly consume content, through time, develops into compulsiveness to consume more content. When the mind starts to generalize and distort what's actually there, to limit the diversity eliminate the nuances of any one field into being an overall bad net negative to society, not just pornography. Also, like any other human field, pornography does not just have some bad or weird fetishes and kinks that it serves only, it also has other tags that either lean more to intimacy type, or domination type. Humans are, still, for the most part, animalistic on average, and some want to be submissive, some want to dominate. Pornography is also not limited to video formats, they include audio forms, magazine forms, comics, erotica, poetry, artworks in galleries and exhibits. I don't think that we are better off without pornography, and if you are well versed in world history, and human history, you'd laugh at yourself for being so disrespectful and short-sighted with yourself for what you just wrote. You'd be very glad that we have pornography in today's format, at least the crazy shit most people view is mostly acting in video, audio, or pictures or words written as poetry. 300 years ago, there were no videos, no sex ads in internet, no porn mags, no porn comics, no porn erotica, maybe poems, definitely not sex dolls or toys, maybe murals from ancient sites depicting pornographic postures, but largely a very simplistic world back then. That doesn't mean there were not perverts either, in fact the world was so simple, boring and much harsher, it forced most of those horny enough to act on those desires, on mostly real bodies of men and women, and children. -

@Kross That's in fact the deeper issue, is the compulsiveness and obsession that develops if mindlessly consuming any one medium or interest, which is not limited to porn. -

@Carl-Richard And good marketing sense, which further makes it harder to accurately peg him down. -
@rnd So, who's Biden then? Are you saying Biden is much worse, or much less bad? Are they really in the same boat in terms of negativity?
