@Razard86 Isn't this from @Leo Gura's blog post on the growing earth? -

@Leo Gura Your take of Jordan Peterson's view? -
@Hojo You actually don't have to push it further, look to the animal kingdom, plenty of infanticide, and killing if infants by predators, and plenty of rape. Even look at other hominids, and early man, plenty of evil shit happens especially in tribal wars and in history, plent of examples of people doing evil anyway. Good reason why incarnation and reincarnation exists.

@Scholar Nobody is arguing in favor for HAMAs, stop red herring us there! We're arguing that Israel should be the bigger man, and STOP TAKING MORE LAND for Palestinians. Like stop taking land. Just stop. Israel has a land hoarding problem, it needs help, do you see? -

@Husseinisdoingfine Actually not a good idea, given how many are so triggered. Some YouTube Channels are even taken down or canceled. -

@Karmadhi But at least we're pushing back on scholars right? Too theoretical and little pragmatism. Let's keep pushing back and hit the 100 page mark on this thread! -

@Karmadhi He'll never admit anything. I pushed on him before, but he'll weasel, watch. -

@Karmadhi Oh I see, pardon the misunderstanding, thought you were comparing the history between Russia and Israel, and which two are worse which IMO is far more brutal. I'm sure there might be some Israeli war criminals there, but we'll never know because some of that info isn't available, and mostly will far under some justified defense or other narrative. I'm still shocked, but not surprised that the USA or other countries are not putting any condemnation onto Israel, only just HAMAs and Palestinians. -

@hundreth Yes, nuance is needed, so here's the nuance: Tell Israel to stop taking more land, and give some back! Stop deporting native Palestinians from their homes and filling them with Jews from other countries that have nothing to do with Palestinian and Israeli lands! Tell that to Netan Yahoo, and tell him and his party to curb their Zionism. -
Danioover9000 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Karmadhi Technically in that comparison, Russia is worse, higher death toll from Stalinism, tortures and executions, even before Stalin Russia as a hegemony had to go through many bloody events, for example had to deal with the Mongolians, and even before that Vikings. -

@Scholar It's amazing to see the more you post here, the more insufferable you sound with your fake centrism. Pick a side, who's more responsible for Israel/Palestine conflict? Is it HAMAs, or Israel taking lands? -

@Princess Arabia @Razard86 ?? -
@Lila9 The main problem is your sweeping under the rug that Israel isn't doing Apartheid long term towards Palestinians, they are via land grabbing their territories, I'm just exposing this logic, considering that Israel is really seeking, with it's Zionists at the top, a 2 party system ethnostate that benefits Israel more than Palestine, an ethnocentric and nationalistic move. With the racism and slavery example that was an analogy to what you're doing here, just like the left wing, white people bad must be the only racists so non-white aren't. Just because it's a complex issue with many developmental factors, doesn't mean that no one can't feel some moral outrage within from the humanitarian crisis upon Palestinians here, especially take into account 80 years of land expansion and land stealing by the Israeli state. For example, can you justify Israel's land expansionism onto Palestinian lands? Can you also justify why Israel advertises to New York Jews or others from the western world to come over to Israel, after they deported many Palestinians towards the west bank and Gaza? You sound like this YouTuber here:

@Razard86 Firstly, the person you're referring to is called Jesse Lee Peterson. Secondly, in terms of debating and arguing, the majority of young people or those with left wing ideologies can't out debate him because they fail to define their own positions to him, and when Jesse pushes back with simple close ended questions, they mostly fail to be logically consistent with their positions. Thirdly, he is solid stage blue/orange with his value systems, and is a religious person who biases more towards traditionalism and conservativism, who argues in favor for the father, and for more intact family homes because in his view single parent detached homes leads to ore violence and criminalization of the youth. Also, this is an edited clip of him, which IMO is bad faith and uncharitable for you to base your post on something that is clipped, maybe out of context, which doesn't represent Jesse Lee Peterson's worldview fully in good will. At least in terms of other developmental factors like value systems, cognitive and moral development, personality types/traits, ego development, other lines of development he's actually like this in real life. In fact he's not the only one arguing for more moral standards and ethical standards in a world with increasing moral decadence of the west, particularly for the black community, thanks to systemic issues and especially the internet: In fact, look at this video below, another example of how perverse incentives of the internet culture has brain rotted the online variations of the political ideologies, just look at how Vaush slanders Andrew Wilson, and how the online left keeps calling him 'Papa Fascist' for just expressing his conservative/traditional takes: And you, @Razard86, are telling me that people on the real world, of conservative/traditional to centrist bias, are more perverted than the online left? What'll probably fix most of these issues is the creation of an online government system, which will handle the other big tech companies that developed Twitch, Kick, Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube, and many other social media sites that have contributed to the immense decline of attention span, increases in ADD/ADHD, other personality disorders and mental health, normalization and rewarding of more narcissism, sociopathy and psychopathy due to the digital formats and hyper stimuli these addictive platforms are designed to do, to curate and tailor content to user biases quickly, and to capture and retain your attention span longer and longer despite corrosion to attention span and hijacking the limbic brain part. We need more regulation and control of the internet cultures and spaces so people like Vaush are NOT REWARDED FOR THEIR BS! And of course yes, this applies to those like Nick Fuentes and the alt right, but also the alt left too! This has gone too long that the online lefties with progressive and socialism biases in bad faith call all of the right wing ideologies 'Fascists', that's like if all the online right wing calls all of left wing 'commies' al the time, meanwhile big tech companies reward such bad behavior with clicks and views and degrade people's attention spans as well as their moral systems. It's a legitimate problem when the left doesn't admit that morals degradation is actually happening as a side effect of all the internet's craziness, and nobody is taking the moral degradation seriously. -
@Tanz So what's your point being made? That Gavin Newsom is a good or evil person for blocking decriminalization of psychedelics?
-
@Raze True, the user doesn't realize he's also making the same arguments that people who are racists, or those on the left do with racism, blame all on one group of demographics like white people, but when it's non-white being racist? Nah, they get a pass. European slave owners don't get a pass, but African and Arabian slave owners? Sure they get a pass, why not.

@gettoefl …what? -
This one's a good one, how the perverse incentives of the internet normalizes these sexual deviant behaviors:

Great video about mental health and the problems of the internet/online cultures. Boycott Streamers and stop viewing stream content, and stop overconsuming social media sites passively, as it leads to various mental health problems like increases in narcissism, neuroticism, sociopathy/psychopathy like pathologies, false self images, inflation of self entitlements, increases in ADD/ADHD and mental unhealth. If you all will still view online/internet streamers, social media influencers, reduce.

@Lila9 'Israel is not an Apartheid state. It's different than South Africa. The situation is definitely unique but not Apartheid state.'. Well, human slavery was a business and the majority of society in all of history, not just Europeans and whites that enslave, but so do African kingdoms and tribes do practice slavery, as well as the Arab kingdoms then and still parts of the region to this day. So are you saying that Africa doesn't participate in enslaving Africans and selling them to the Arabians, because it's different than Europe, and Europeans and white people are the only ones to participate in the slavery business mostly? Do you understand that there are Israeli Zionists who want a 2 party ethnostate?

@AerisVahnEphelia Do you mean recognize instead of reckon? I partly agree, but in @Razard86's logical frame, everyone's a genius, including you and me, therefore we'd recognize a genius because it takes a genius to know a genius. However, what if you and I are not geniuses? What if his logic is false? What is the cost of overgeneralizing the word 'genius' and strip it of it's definition? What is it's use then to other people who recognize 'genius' but the word 'genius' is so over corrupt and polluted with other meanings that we loss the defined meanings? So, my argument and logical frame sides with careful definitions of terminologies in context, so we don't lose the meanings of the words we use. The main problem with trying to make a word self referential, and refuse to define it, for example what is a man, and the word 'man' mean, but we minus every reference, every feature of 'man', and we don't point to objects that are common patterns of 'man' and the other can just claim 'a man is a man onto itself'? We'd end up with infinite regress of that word, as it keeps self referencing itself, leading to infinite regress, which leads to meaninglessness of the term used. So what's the point of strictly defining terms? What's the point of mathematics and other S.T.E.M fields without strict definitions for their terminologies? So definitions impart usage and some usefulness of words communicated to others. -
@Carl-Richard You can preach Daniel Schmachtenberger's points and proselytize Game B, tier 2 cognition, or Spiral Dynamics stage yellow/Turquois, but when the majority of people are still lower/middle class, struggling for material needs and security, last thing that'll help is fancy sophistry from James wheels, and other systemic thinkers. The arguments are not only not convincing/persuasive enough, like Lex Fridman and Curt Jaimungal, but it's far more difficult when practice/application of those theories happen. If Daniel's dream of peace Utopia happens, it happens when almost everyone is secure enough for game B, but until then we're stuck for 100-200 years of game A.
