@Why? Great Post ! You seem to be very mature for a 15-year old as far as i can tell @Tu Pimp A Caterpillar Book: -"Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen Laberge, its standart for lucid dreaming starters i think There is no doubt about that, it can be used for entertainment as well as self development I am sure you already read about the technics, so i wont mention them here, but here is some important things i can come up with now: -Sleep quality is very important -More meditation = more lucid dreams -May sound lame but a healthy died helps a lot too -Most of the lucid dreams will be early in the morning ( for me at least ) Edit: Avoid caffeine, it suppresses sleep and dream time Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions -

I think Meditation is emotional labour, it sure isn't easy and fun to sit for one hour, not move at all and stay focused. In fact when I do it "Boredom" is killing me, but that is what makes it so powerfull. Besides all the physiological benefits, meditating makes you more persistant and strongens your will power. Only with a lot of pracitce it can be truned into something relaxing and fun I think. -
good question, it sure seems like flow is opposite to conscious, does it really have to be that way? I would also like to know. but I think that when you are in "flow" you can only do things that you already know how they're done, where as in "conscious" you can do new stuff and learn etc. does that make any sense to you?

The "awkward silence" is a really funny thing ... But have you ever considered the possibility that silence may be not awkward for everyone? In fact you just perceive the silence to be awkward. It is easy to assume that everyone feels that way, but often this is just a false assumption. Try to not feel awkward when short pauses are there, there is no way to avoid them completely anyway, this helped me a lot to be more relaxed. There is no need to fill every gap with more talking

I think it is very important to develop a genuine interest in others peoples thoughts and opinions. Example 1 : If you have a genuine interest in hearing what other persons have to say about certain topics or how they feel about something you wont be able to help yourself but to ask and talk about all kinds of things, isn't it? Example 2 : Why does it seem that women have a much easier time talking than men? Women are generally speaking more interested in the people around them, this makes having conversations for them almost effortless , because they have a genuine interest in what the others have to say ( they are not just talking for the manners ) By pursuing self development my interest in people and Life , as a whole, started growing. Over the time I realized how it always became easier for me to have funny, diverse and interesting conversations because of that I hope that, what I say makes sense to you and helps you ! Have a nice day

Ever since i heard of lucid dreaming for the first time it started happening to me, since then i have had many lucid dreaming experiences, almost consistently. A lot of the lucid dreaming experiences lasting for hours (or at least that's how it felt to me ) jumping from one dream to the next, multiple times in one night, without loosing consciousness. But also a lot of vague ones, ones that lasted for only a few seconds, and scary ones as well. Lucid Dreaming for me is a really great experience, and I don't think that it is far fetched to say that it can be an "eye opening" experience. Although they can also be very frightening sometimes. Fear is definitely a very important subtopic of lucid dreaming and should not be dismissed. Still I believe that it is very much worth pursuing it and I can just encourage people who want this to be part of their lives to do that. But just like anything in life, attention and care will be required. It is a little unfortunate that that Leo isn't into this topic ( for now at least ) because I'am sure that he, as smart as he is, could have a lot of fun and really benefit from Lucid dreaming . Anyway, I would really enjoy him sharing his own experiences and thoughts on it. I'am also looking forward to sharing and receiving experiences from this forum. This is totally my topic and I'am open for any questions or thoughts P.S.: I don't mind but I'am not sure if "Alternative Healing" is the right place for this topic
