  1. Fair comment. I'm looking for topics that females are interested in rather than female topics per say. My post is a response to the recent proliferation of comments that this forum is very male dominated with little interest for women. As they things won't change unless change happens.
  2. True that. I thought the topic was done 4 days ago. Obviously someone had something to say
  3. Truth addict, I've been away for a few days. I was not referring to you. I like your style and your words.
  4. Oh gosh. No, no not at all. More the discussion here. Anyway was just a thought from a dim dark memory
  5. This reminds me of a TV series called Logan's Run. Very old now.
  6. Oh yeah, very tough age to both live through and parent. Love to you
  7. I have 2 children who are grown now, and to a point a I agree with this. I think as a parent having and infinite( I wish) amount of time to talk, advise, share, love and be generous is really crucial.
  8. Totally agree on dancing, I love dancing, the emotions incited to get you up and the often reminiscent feelings while flying around the dance floor.
  9. I agree. Given that they arise in consciousness, and awareness ensures our understanding of the wider environment, we also need to ensure that our understanding of the words emotions and thoughts is common with those we are interacting with. For me thought or thought patterns come from out beliefs and emotions are an outcome of that belief. Other than emotions of joy and love I'm overly keen on emotions.
  10. @Inliytened1 ??
  11. @Inliytened1 I also found myself in that situation and took myself off for a few days for a period of introspection. My position on the bad behaviour here is to protect, in any way that I can, those are coming through.
  12. @Inliytened1 I have no disagreement with you, and if heated debate amongst peers happens so be it. My point is that the more abusive tactics of those yet to rise are improper.
  13. In the past week I have been quite shocked at the level of criticism and abuse I have witnessed here. The problem is those of us who feel like we are at a "higher level " than other members then give ourselves the right to criticism and sit in judgement of those we have deemed to be inferior. If I were male I would be by upset at the assumption that this is simply masculine behaviour. Feedback and criticism are 2 very different things. I believe the moderators should be more harsh on criticism as it breeds the environment of "us and them." Besides you are only guessing who you are about to criticise, it could very well be an enlightened Buddhist doing research. ☺️
  14. I'm sorry this is. It something I know very much about.
  15. All sorted. Have you received an answer to your questions, if not I'll try to help with whatever is left. ,
  16. My meaning was misunderstood? I wasn't criticising you I was interested in what kinds of issues/problems you were talking about. Everyone has their own problems and thresholds for things turning into shit. ?
  17. I see this behaviour here, as well as in people in my life. Here, where you have quite a lot of people all at varying spiritual and awareness levels this kind of nit-picking, as you say, is inevitable. When you put a post up it is read with eyes of interest, criticism, lecturing and a greater number of agendas from different schools of thought. These agendas push the reader to conquer the original post and display their superiority. There are so many doing it, and if anything particularily clever has been written, it is often lost in the crush by the others looking for a much smarter and enlightened post to write. Leo is coping a lot of heat over this at the moment. I think the old saying about glass houses and people throwing stones could be applicable here.
  18. Hi Hiven, for the majority of my life I have been slim or athletic. However in 2017 I was quite unwell and I put on 20kgs which as a small woman pushed me into the obese range. When I started to recover I couldn't believe how heavy I was. I started to diet with fasting immediately and now 12 months on from the beginning of the diet I have lost 17kgs and am back in healthy weight range. There were so many things I took for granted that were impossible when I was obese. One of the most frustrating things was that I couldn't shave my bikini line. I just couldn't see it over my stomach. People looked at me differently and men didn't look at me anymore. I figured it didn't matter too much as I wasn't getting naked looking like I did anyway. It's great to have my sex appeal back lately.
  19. @leintdav000 Hi. I fast as well. Ive been doing intermittently fasting for 12 months, and I've lost 17kgs. Ive looked at the 5:2 method as well, but I was thinking of switching from what I'm doing now. I know the caloric swing from very low to normal is what the fat loss depends on. I'm not sure that adding more fasting would be helpful as your body may go into starvation mode and hold calories and body fat. Just thinking. ??
  20. Seems like you are moving forward with a good plan. Well done!
  21. @Anderz great answer. energy is moved around and delivers information, with intent, to the consciousness. The consciousness needs to be aware enough to understand both the internal impact but also the impact on the world around.
  22. The Root chakra governs sexual energy.
  23. Psychic vampires are also called energy vampires. They feed off the energy of people to feed themselves. They manipulate individuals to produce a certain emotional response, that emotion is what the vampire feeds off. So they trigger individuals to react in a certain way, if the individual is lacking in awareness they will respond as the vampire wishes.
