Inliytened 1, Only living organisms are conscious because they each have the breath of life, i.e. a spirit or soul of their own. Rocks, planets, stars, etc do not. The universe doesn't feel what you feel. I am conscious that I'm NOT the universe, only myself. We are limited beings, and so it isn't possible to explore ourselves through infinite perspectives because we simply don't have them. A finite mind isn't part of a bigger mind - it can only be itself, just as one's brain isn't one part of a larger brain. A finger is only one digit of the five that belong on the hand. It isn't the whole hand, just as the other digits are not. And you, I, and Arlin are not the whole sum of reality, but rather three small parts of it. These truths won't change. Andrea

If Time wasn't infinite eternally speaking, then God could not have created all things, because such a dynamic process could only have happened in time and not outside it. Time preexisted all things apart from God. Space-time is infinite. Another interesting thing to consider is the fact that God knew the end of human history as we know it from the very beginning, which suggests that absolute Time isn't strictly linear. Cetus56, All things on this side of eternity, where there is sin and death, have a beginning and an end. Eternity is infinite time, i.e. time with neither a beginning nor end. Jesus Christ is God and said to St. John in the Book of Revelation: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End [of all things]", and because He is the eternal Creator, He has no beginning nor end. I already know the Jesus of the Gospels, who preached the Truth, cast out demons, healed the sick and brought the dead back to life. I have been set free of unclean spirits (demons) by Him. They are real.

That's where you're wrong. The true spiritual birth happens when you start believing the biblical teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then you start to realize your true identity as an individual human being. There is only one true Christ, and we're not Him. He is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. He is my Savior. Jesus Christ is Lord!
