  1. "Depression is not real" Andrew Tate
"Depression is not real" Andrew Tate
Depression is real and there are people who have it induced by brain chemistry through no fault of their own. And it can be debilitating to the point that you can't do anything when it hits.
    BUT
I would say the vast majority of people who claim to be "depressed" this doesn't apply to. Either they over-exaggerate their depression, use it as an excuse to avoid working on themselves, or haven't tried anything like exercise or changing their diet to fix it.
With the TikTok generation it's trendy and cool to say you're depressed and anxious. Mental illness and being part of any kind of minority group is glorified. If you don't have some medical diagnosis and you aren't a member of the LGBT community you aren't cool.
Most depressed kids these days it's just because they have too much time, too much opportunity and potential. Paradoxically, the better your life is, it seems like the more depressed you are. That's why so many rich people are depressed and drug addicts. Literally if you made these kids go and work in a factory for 12 hours a day they'd be less depressed than sitting around on their phones all day. Because when you constantly have something to do and you go home tired at the end of the day, there's no time to sit around and be depressed.
I've been hit with this depression of decadence multiple times in my life, especially when there isn't much going on, if you're between jobs or school or projects, or you're just coasting in life without much effort and not actively trying to improve yourself. Yeah it's real and you feel depressed. But with a little willpower you can start actually doing stuff and pull yourself out of it pretty quickly. If you wallow it just keeps going.
It's like if you wake up and focus on how groggy and sleepy you feel, it'll last like that for hours. If you just put your shoes on and go for a walk even though you're groggy, you'll be fully awake in 5 minutes. If you give depression your attention you breed more of it. If you allow yourself to believe you're depressed then you'll be depressed.
    The other 5 - 10% require medication

  2. Can anyone be my intimate friend and therapist?
Can anyone be my intimate friend and therapist?
It sounds like you just need a friend. There are lots of subreddits on Reddit for this purpose for example /r/Needafriend/ /r/internetfriends /r/meetnewpeoplehere /r/kikpals /r/skypepals /r/penpals
However I think you'll continually run into problems for one reason -- it sounds like you are going to demand too much from people and not really give anything back to them. It sounds like you are asking for a best friend who will drop everything to listen to you whenever you need it and constantly provide reassurance. That kind of thing is very emotionally draining for anyone, and people will quickly start ghosting you from that sort of one-sided friendship.
If you have never been to a therapist I think it would be a good idea. It sounds like there are potentially abandonment issues, or conditions like bipolar or borderline personality disorder. If you find a person to meet your needs and they leave, you'll end up back in this exact same spot again. You need to get personally strong in yourself and a position where you don't need other people to calm you down and meet all of your emotional needs.
I mean this in the nicest and most constructive way, but I've been observing your behavior on this forum for a long time and the amount of time and energy you spend here is not healthy. I'm sorry for whatever trauma and bad things you've been through, but spending hours per day making dozens of posts on this forum is not going to be something you can sustainably do for several more years. You need to find a more sustainable solution that makes you stronger and more confident with yourself. It's okay to use a friend to prevent loneliness and listen to minor emotional problems, but it's not fair to use a friend as a therapist.

  3. Is it possible to get a 7/10 woman
Is it possible to get a 7/10 woman
Most nights I would be out with a wing. But it's not like the wing is approaching with me. A lot of time the wing will be somewhere in the area but I will do my approach solo.
    Maybe 80-90% with a wing.
    WAY, way less.
You have to take into account that many of those approaches were done when I was totally clueless and inexperienced. I started from ground zero.

  4. Is it possible to get a 7/10 woman
Is it possible to get a 7/10 woman
I don't rate girls on a numerical scale.
I talk to a very wide range of girls. I'm also willing to sleep with a relatively wide range of girls. Although my natural standards are some of the highest of all my wings. I've only met one wing who has what I could consider higher standards than mine. But I deliberately lower my standards.
Attracting what you guys refer to as 8s and 9s is certainly possible.
I have attracted girls who would be considered the hottest girl in the club (a Vegas club). Of course this is rare. You'd have to do a lot of approaches for that and you'd need to develop some solid game.
The gist of it is, it's possible to attract stunners once you get good. You basically won't believe how hot some of the girls you attract will be if you go out long enough. You will be puzzled why she is attracted to you. You will also lose a lot of stunners due to your core insecurity and lack of entitlement.
If you don't feel entitled to her, you won't be able to keep her. Therefore you should brainwash yourself to feel like you are a 10/10 and entitled to any girl in the world. I know a guy who has 11/10 tattooed on his wrist. That's the attitude it takes to get the hottest girls. You need the confidence of a psychopath or a god.

  5. Leo, you’re denying criticisms that are true?
Leo, you’re denying criticisms that are true?
I agree that Actualized is not a cult and have said this many many times. There is a difference between a cult (like Scientology) and a cult of personality (like the fanatics around Donald Trump, even though Trump himself is not the leader of a cult).
Actualized is not a cult, but there is a cult of personality around Leo which results in groupthink, delusional thinking, and is in my opinion pretty ridiculous.
I make this distinction in the video, its even right there in the thumbnail. Again if you actually listen to the words then its not thst unreasonable.

    Attraction Phase vs Relationship Phase
If you are sleeping with her more than once a week, it's already started.
Obviously you already succeeded in attracting her. You don't need to work to attract her any more.
Less than once per week is fuckbuddy territory. More than once per week is girlfriend territory.

If God is Infinite Mind, and you are God, there is nothing outside of You.
God is an Infinite Mind which imagines other minds within itself.

  9. How is attractiveness related to spirituality work?
How is attractiveness related to spirituality work?
Spiritual work will make you more attractive in many ways:
You will be more present, more secure, more grounded, more confident You will be more authentic, your personality will project more clearly You will have stronger eye contact You will be happier and more positive You will be more clear on your own values, life purpose, and what you want out of life You will have more integrity You will be more loving You will be more honest and truthful You will appear higher value, you will be seen as "relationship material" You will be able to form deeper connections and intimacy You will be more conscious and observant You will be less needy and more detached, which is highly attractive Etc. It will be especially attractive to people who are themselves into spirituality, because that is so rare. You can form an instant connection based on that alone. If I ever bump into a spiritual girl, she will be really into me just because she rarely meets a guy at or above her level.

  10. Can a woman ever love a man the way he wants to be loved?
Can a woman ever love a man the way he wants to be loved?
As I said in my video Part 1, the problem is deeper than just getting laid. Many guys are simply horrible as socializing. Pickup is the most direct way of addressing that.
And as I said, some people get laid easily simply from the kind of job or career they have where they are constantly talk to new girls.
If you don't have a problem socializing or getting laid, then obviously you don't need advice on this topic.

  11. Can a woman ever love a man the way he wants to be loved?
Can a woman ever love a man the way he wants to be loved?
    1) Most guys don't end up with hot girls at all.
    2) Even if they get lucky and find a hot girl, they will likely lose her at some point and become very frustrated. You are not taking into account how these guys feel when they lose their one lucky girl.
    3) Just being a social extrovert will get you girls.
    4) Talk and jokes is game. Looking nice and being chill is game.
    5) If you are good-looking you need way less game.
    6) If you are extroverted you need way less game.

    First date soon. Advice Needed.
Just change the topic to something else if it comes up. No need to lie but also no need to show all your cards. Act chill and normal. She does not need to know your social/dating life.
Best date location is a cafe or bar in an outdoor shopping mall area near your house.
Your biggest problem will be not leading enough. You need to lead her throughout the whole date. Take her by the hand and walk her around. Tell her where you're going. Be decisive and clear.

Teflon is highly toxic. You must throw away all your nonstick pans. They are trash and this applies to all nonstick pans of any kind, even if they are "green". None of these coatings are healthy and they all flake off.
Buy all stainless steal cookware. It lasts a lifetime.

Can a woman ever love a man the way he wants to be loved?
You guys need to find better girls. Most girls are loyal to a fault. If your girl is not falling in love with you you're doing something wrong. When you become a high value guy your problem will be that girls fall in love with you too hard.

Keep trying. You just gotta find the right girl.
Yes, women reward player behavior. They can't help it. It's what they are attracted to.

It's hard to avoid all powders. Just be cautious. Research the powders you're taking chronically.
The beauty of mastering chelation is that you don't need to eat as perfectly because you have a tool now for cleaning up your system every year.
Do maintainence chelation a few times a year for the rest of your life.

  18. How can I go deeper with psychedelics?
How can I go deeper with psychedelics?
For me I need to have a completely clear schedule for at least two days.  No responsibilities to anyone or anything.  If I know I have to be able to perform at my job the next day it is just too distracting for me and that becomes part of the trip.  I also prefer having a clean environment.  No clutter or mess.  I have fixated on a dirty carpet once with a mind loop that wouldn't let go.  I have done LSD enough times now that I don't feel the need for a trip sitter.  Most of the time I'm fine, but having someone sober around to help ground you if you start going down a rabbit hole of crazy thoughts is quite helpful.

I usually wait until I feel a calling to revisit the psychedelic space.  I use LSD 2 - 3 times a year now.  Every time I have taken psychedelics because of my ego, I get little to no insight or benefit from it.  Having a clear intent and my mind focused on specific issues or positive intentions helps direct the trip.  I do not use these substances as an escape or party drug.  It is for deep personal work and I always do them alone or with my wife.  If I'm in the frame of mind I want to be entertained vs. I want to self-realize it makes all the difference.
That is what works for me.  Your mileage may very.

  19. Alan Watts on Understanding Absolute Love
Alan Watts on Understanding Absolute Love
He was an alcoholic, but he died of a heart condition.  While I may not agree with him completely on the use of psychedelics, he was one of the greatest spiritual minds of the 20th century.  Mozart was likely an alcoholic as well, but that doesn't change the fact he was one of the greatest composers of all time.  Who else should we cancel for their personal failings?  Van Gogh (psychotic)?  Thomas Jefferson (slave owner)?  Einstein (he married his cousin)? Steve Jobs (a megalomaniac who denied his own child)?
This "Woke" culture of canceling someone's genius because of their personal failings is perhaps the saddest thing about our current cultural zeitgeist.

  20. Alan Watts on Understanding Absolute Love
Alan Watts on Understanding Absolute Love
For me discernment includes separating the message from the messenger.   Carl Jung had insight into the human psyche like few other Europeans before him.  Yet he was prone to bursts of anger that made him difficult to be around.  I can separate his flaws from his genius.  Watts opened the minds of millions of people in the West to another perspective on spirituality.  I count him as one of my greatest teachers even though I never met him or saw him live.  I simply don't care about his alcoholism because his message was so well articulated and clear.  I'm open to learn from anyone who has wisdom to share.  I'm not going to be dissecting their lives to make sure they are perfect in every way before I listen and learn from them.

Anyone who claims to have transcended all human faults is lying.  Sometimes the most profound wisdom comes from those who are most broken and those who struggle the most with their demons.  The Shadow has much to teach us.  Our faults and where we are broken is often where the light shines through.

@impulse9 I’ve done LSD about 30 times and mushrooms about a dozen times and just recently 5MeO DMT for my first time.  I totally agree with your assessment that using psychedelics won’t get you enlightened.  They are tools that can crack the ego temporarily to give insight into higher consciousness.  But they will not get you there, only point the way.

  22. 5 Meo- Dmt and admitting "I do not know"
5 Meo- Dmt and admitting "I do not know"
This is a profound sign of growth.  Probably something to be celebrated.
I don't consider Leo to be my spiritual teacher at all.  He is my 5MeO teacher and that is why I first came to Actualized.org.  It is a drug I had never taken but wanted to.  I was looking for someone who had a lot more experience and Leo sure fit that bill.   I was intrigued by him and what he had to say at first.  I have watched a few of his videos and have interacted with him here and frankly I'm not impressed.  I get that he has helped many people.  I guess I'm just in a different place.  I get the impression that most of his students are much younger.  I'm 55 years old and have been doing spiritual work since I was 15.  I have worked face to face with masters and Leo just isn't there yet.  He just simply lacks maturity, wisdom and integration.  The stuff that takes decades to really get.  There are reasons that most masters are 50 + years old.  His over confidence and narcissism are major liabilities to his future.  There are no shortcuts.  Not even 5MeO-DMT.  Beware of unearned wisdom folks.

  23. I might need some help
    I might need some help
My advice is to NOT take 5MeO-DMT.  Your psyche is too unstable and the results could be catastrophic.  Don't look for a quick fix of your problems, but work on eating well, sleeping well and getting exercise.  Make your life as simple as possible.

  24. Skeptical about Awakening
    Skeptical about Awakening
@caelanb You will never find awakening.  It isn't lost.  It isn't some hidden truth.  It isn't a feeling or even a thought.  It is simply the realization of who you really are and by extension, what is really real.  As they say in Zen, "It is too clear, and so it is hard to see."  It is as close as your breath.  It is what is looking through your eyes and thinking your thoughts.  It isn't some new theory or belief system.  It is not some better version of you or some superhero.  You don't need psychedelics to discover it (although they can help in some cases if we are really hypnotized by ego).  I can only imagine how many people have chased their tail in looking for it.  Like Michelangelo said about sculpture, just remove everything that isn't you.  What you are left with is enlightenment / awakening / self-realization.  When it comes to you, you will think, "Damn!  It was right here all along... I just didn't recognize it".

  25. Adyashanti Claims Irreversible Effects From Psychedelic's
Adyashanti Claims Irreversible Effects From Psychedelic's
I agree with Adyashanti with this one.  He isn't claiming that the use of psychedelics can't facilitate a deep spiritual experience.  Just that for many people taking these substances, they just aren't ready for the experience.
I can only speak for myself.  The first time I took psychedelics I was 51 years old and had done a shit ton of spiritual work.  If I had the same experiences when I was in my 20's I can honestly say that I was no where near ready to deal with what they can reveal.  It probably would have messed me up.  I had to wait until I was spiritually mature enough, grounded enough and understood life enough to go there.  I would perhaps disagree with Adyashanti in the fact that psychedelics CAN facilitate deep spiritual insights that can be VERY meaningful and positive.  But only if the person is ready to receive the teachings.  Based on what I see in my own life, most people just aren't there and hence the warning.  Life is NOT about just eliminating the ego, but living your life with a healthy relationship with the ego.  Immature people will get lost losing their ego once the drug wears off.  It can create major issues.
