Haha you run the assumption you know how I'm thinking! I am not discounting every experience, just 99% of them. If I said I was enlightened and told you the experience I had was meeting an old man who told me he was god and that he loved me what would you say?

@Nahm I was just talking about people who say god has spoken to them. I don't think it is an enlightened experience, I think it's a confusion of their emotions and ego. Was really just trying to get other's thoughts. I smoked DMT, had a death experience where my ego dissolved and I became pure awareness, came back through a birth experience and life made sense.

Yea now I want to process this in plain language people can understand easily. I thought your self awareness meditation you posted earlier was pretty good in that regard.

If what I said was not what you heard. To bring it back to the topic maybe an example like: If I say god spoke to me and said 'Druid420 you must go and do this that and the other' rather than saying something more like 'I had a profound experience and felt a calling to go and do this and that'

@Nahm Very nice, I like it! What I would say though, we learn how to communicate so that the inference is as close to the intent as possible. But if you communicate in a way that gets completely lost in translation then Chinese whispers begin and something like christianity is born.

I think you've gotten confused. Like yes we can say this is god typing because I am god, but these words I type are coming from my ego, not my self.

It's not to say they did not experience anything at all, but that is is very likely they are misinterpreting their internal dialogue as god during an emotional experience. They are as right as Joseph Smith I suppose. I think it's a little bit of a jump to call that god speaking anymore than this post is god typing.

I could link you many video examples! Perhaps it's just a cultural thing, maybe some hear those turns of phrases and understand that the proclaimer didn't hear an actual voice speaking actual words. For me though, there are appropriate words to describe it without making it a bluff.

Yes, that interpretation is what I said I could maybe understand. But these people are speaking literally. And they don't say they heard, they say god spoke to them and then go on to quote the words.

But like it's nearly every american christian you hear claiming some sort of divine encounter!! Although I admit they probably all do need to re-evaluate their situations!

If someone is reporting hearing words being spoken to them literally how a person communicates to another in everyday life then I would be very strongly of the opinion that they are confused over their experience. That's just a complete non answer.

The premature ending of your experience.

Why?

So as my NN-DMT journeys continue (now down to once a week, to allow for proper processing) I have noticed myself at times thinking of Druid420 in a 3rd person context. I've found this to be very helpful -for example, Druid420 might be entrenched in the deep dark hole of youtube suggested videos and not want to go to bed, but then the thought comes 'Maybe it's time for Druid420 to get some sleep.' By doing this I've found my convictions to be much less corruptible (oh just one more video), and that my judgement is much less marred by the ego's narrative. Just thought I'd share this - If you have any thoughts please share. If you decide to try and practice this please let me know how you fare!

I don't know if murder is only relatively bad though is what I am saying. The fact of feeling anything is good so feeling oneself burn cannot be bad.
