  1. Been building my personal brand with the goal to build a coaching practice. Found a creator who sells a program for coaches to scale their coaching biz. Program length is 4 months. 1:1 coaching 7-12 sessions. Helping create content, build offer, launch etc. The promise is 20k in revenue by the end of the program. But price is hefty: $10k The thing is i’m a very small creator at this point. Less than 5k followers. What do you guys think? Are these kinds of programs legit? Sounds a bit too good to be true for me, but I just don’t know. What should I look out for?
  2. Hello everyone, I'm 24, with deep interests in public speaking, personal development, human behavior, philosophy and entrepreneurship. I've chosen not to attend university, instead focusing on real-world experience and self-education. Over the past four years, while working various jobs, I've also been building a YouTube channel and learning about life coaching. Currently, my YouTube channel sits at +2,000 subscribers, and I've earned a bit of profit from my coaching endeavors. I really enjoy making videos where I share insights and teach things i've learned. Recently I moved back to my parents place, which allows me to invest more time and resources into my business. My strengths include social intelligence, visual aesthetic sense, and spiritual connection to reality. I love teaching. I love helping people get to the next level in their lives. This is my greatest joy. Ultimately, my life purpose is to help people make sense of themselves and reality. But heres the thing... I'm at a crossroads and would appreciate your insights: Recently I've been thinking about pontentially pursuing a university degree that aligns with my vision of building a business online around coaching and content creation. Frankly, I'm a bit afraid people will not take me seriously in the world without a degree. The question thats been on my mind is this: Should I pursue a degree that aligns with the current technological and societal shifts, or should I dedicate myself fully to expanding my online presence and coaching business? The thing is, I live in Scandinavia where uni is free, so cost is not a problem. If higher education is advisable, what programs should I consider that would be a worthwhile investment for my career in the self-improvement and entrepreneurial fields? Thank you so much for your guidance and thoughts!
  3. Okay interesting. But wouldn’t you say learning things like physics and chemistry is crucial for developing a comprehensive, tier 2 understanding of life?
  4. So I was never that interested in the hard sciences in high school, and chose to focus on subjects such as psychology, philosophy & history. But now after being out of high school for a few years I’ve become interested in learning some natural sciences such as physics and chemistry. I’m not interested in pursuing them as a career. I have my LP figured out (photographer/filmmaker.) But I Just think its important to understand science so I dont have any big holes in my understanding of the world. How do I go about learning about science on my own? All the formulas and equations are a bit overwhelming to me. Btw I’m not interested in going to college. Is my intution correct to say that it is really important? Thanks.
  5. @impulse9 @impulse9 thanks for the perspective! And yeah I’ve heard Khan University is a good quality source. Will be checking it out.
