roopepa replied to Cepzeu's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This one is for God: I am in a new kind of situation in my life right now. Are you conscious of what I am experiencing? Can you give me any specific advice/helpful perspectives? Also, I love you. -

Why do you value "truth" over feeling? What if the truth is feeling? -

@Blackhawk Choose the truth that feels good. Why not? Nothing in your mind or sensemaking is real anyway. But feeling... Always here and now, always actual. -

I'll take it a bit further and say that what really connects you to life, is feeling. How are you feeling? That's the real juice. -

Here this is a belief you hold, an object you want and value - a thought. Inspect and see that above "absolute truth" you want Ah... Emotion. This one, always actual. The very center of your life experience. Now we're talking. What you want above all else, is to feel good. This is why you wrote your original post. This is why you asked your question about the universe and why it is as it is - this is you as you are. Feeling. With a little bit of digging we uncovered the source of the moment. See? Nothing is hidden. -

Why Why do you ever value anything? What do you want above all else? -

I'm not fucking around. Why are you not taking it for granted? -

"Why am I the way I am?" Why are you asking? -

You seem to care as you made the post. You, being you right now, wondering about why is the universe as it is... The "why" of it, is the same "why" to your original question. The "answer" is the moment, is the question. Nothing is hidden, nothing to figure out. Just look at yourself. -

Why do you care? -
Lately I've been having lucid dreams quite literally every time I take a daytime nap. It's weirdly regural. Do you have any fun ideas what to do during the dreams? Or how to make them more steady? Do you know any good books or other resources?

Thank you.

The dreamboard, letting go what does not feel good, understanding emotion and the thought as creative power... I can see it crystallizing already. What a relief, what a beauty this is. @Nahm Having hard time expressing my gratitude and the amount of love, joy and inspiration I see in you, and in me. Thank you. -

I might understand what you are pointing to here. The text being the object in meditation, until the separation is seen through. This is done with texts like Bhagavad Gita too, right? But what does this have to do with the text itself? Can this not be practiced with any text? Even with stuff like oracle cards? Or am I missing something? -

Can you point out any specific parts in the Bible that you think are most useful, or correct in a nondual sense? I'm having hard time getting my head around this. Bible seems very chaotic so I don't know how to organize the text in my mind. Where to start? Do you know any good resources to help to see, or study it from a standpoint we usually see spirituality at this forum, for example? -

Makes me wonder what are the baseless beliefs that I hold in order to keep my identity. -
I like Nahm's advice: feel good. What anyone ever wants, man or woman, is to feel good. If you are feeling great, people will be naturally attracted to you, as you have what they seek. These conversations always make me feel like shit.

That sounds awesome. I have to take a look. Your reply was very helpful. Thank you

This is the only way to experience yourself as absolute perfection. To experience yourself as your true self, you gotta experience who you are not. You may choose to experience the illusory self as you like. There are no right or wrong choices. You are free. I would recommend for you to read Communion with God. It goes very directly into this dance of illusions. -
You're just deluding yourself into thinking your selfish cheating is some kind of a loving rebellion. If you care about corruption, go and help to change the system. There is a system established via taxing, called democratic election, that you can most easily use to be the change. Not paying taxes and crying at some forum won't do shit.

For a long time I've had a thought-structure which goes along these lines: "I do not feel good about myself and my life. I don't feel loved and joyful. To feel good, I must become enlightened, a spiritual master, to know the truth, to radiate love & wisdom around me like a true guru should. Then I would feel good and have people love me and see how smart and great person I am." Lately I've become more conscious of this belief and it's becoming more and more clear how bad this makes me feel, and how, well, stupid it is. Due to becoming more aware of this I have realized that what truly makes me feel good, and a more radiant, joyful and loving person is letting go of this belief and becoming basically nobody. I can already feel it coming. I can feel the joy of letting go. The new vision of being a joyful nobody, right here now, feels so good that I can't wait for it to actually become my experience. Don't know why I wanted to share this. It's kind of a statement I guess. I'm breaking through guys!! Yay!!!

It is not your imagination. It is not @JJfromSwitzerland 's imagination. He is what is being imagined. Just like Leo, roopepa or the hot girl sucking ya dick. "My POV" is being imagined just like "the hot girl". -
Have you read ACIM? Have you found it to be helpful? I have it in my bookshelf but I get these weird, kinda scary vibes from it. It's so intense. Guess I just don't resonate with it for some reason.

Yeah, I used to do this more often. I have this one friend who is very rational/materialistic and a bit conservative so he kind of became this caricature of those beliefs in my mind. The reason might be that we are insecure about our own beliefs and views so we create an internal fight, projecting the rivaling beliefs into another person. This can also be helpful, by having a positive conversation, not debating. I often have talks with Leo or Nahm, and even God in my head, tapping into their energy and it is not at all unusual to have great insights. One of those insight is that these people are me, of course, so I'm really just channeling my own wisdom.
