  1. Yeah I've read and heard about similar stories as well. Apparently kids remember information about past lives until age of 4 or so but then forget it afterwards. I dont remember where I read it though. I can understand your curiosity, I would be so interested to know more in that situation as well
  2. That's indeed a very consistent roll you got going there. My suggestion would be to just bring in your inner awareness when you tend to compulsively engage in activities like aimlessly browsing or surfing social media. If your awareness is strong enough and your habits are not so strong, you should be able to shed them away this way
  3. I learned this the hard way as well and I'm still experimenting with it.. But essentially I learned from Sadhguru and from my own experiences to NOT quit a compulsive habit cold turkey... Becauce even if you stop that particular habit, your conpulsivness would come back to your life in other forms. When I tried quiting porn sometime ago, I found myself for example heavily using social media more than I ever did before and it seemed very compulsive. What Sadhguru says is that, the only cure to this compulsiveness is consciousness. So if you just integrate a very serious meditation / yoga session, it could greatly help. Also don't force yourself into it, find a yoga program or a meditation program that you might be inclined to do in the beginning.
  4. A lot of positive replies but I will add my experience too I've been doing it for the past 9 months almost every morning and it has been a wonderful assistant to get myself ready for my yoga / medication session. Also my resistance against cold weather has improved a lot.
  5. @Shiva yes and for the record, the world famous vipassana teacher S.N Goenka was also a business man before vipassana made him woke
  6. Have you heard of the Isha Foundation? Their Inner Engineering program has had phenomenal results in treating Insomnia with about 90% success rate. It is a 21 minute daily practice which you can learn. The programme is a 4 day retreat available in almost every major country Check it out here. Feel free to ask any questions https://www.innerengineering.com/ieo-new/total/
  7. Many yogis and enlightened masters talk about reincarnation. If it is true, then suicide is definitely not the end to any suffering because you will be right back here to 'suffer' more. Having said that anything will not seem true for you until you have a direct experience of it, so you wouldn't know for sure if reincarnation is real. But is it worth taking that chance? Killing the body doesn't mean the end to the real you. Killing body will limit you from experiencing the physicality of existence but that doesn't mean you cease to exist. There is nowhere to go. If anyone is in a state of suicide, it is most probably because the mental structure has become a mess. There are ways to undo it. Real Yoga and meditation are few of the tools you can use
  8. There are literally thousands of Inner Engineering programmes happening around the world in a year. So Sadhguru cannot physically attend them all. They will be conducted under trained teachers who are able to initiate you into the technique just as well as Sadhguru would. Sadhguru conducts only a handful of Inner Engineering programmes by himself every year. The next one is in July in Melbourne
  9. Glad to hear that. I think what Sadhguru has accomplished in the last two decades could take some people lifetimes to achieve. I think anyone here can definitely benefit spiritually from what Isha Foundation has to offer. Specially from their Yoga programmes. They have an establishment in almost every major Western and Eastern country one way or another.
  10. With close to a 100 million fan base, I can't imagine the changes one could make to raise human consciousness. Especially in young people in this case. There will definitely be a lot of resistance though if anyone in his position tries to share more stage green/yellow values through their media platforms.
  11. I've seen this video, have you and or anyone actually tried it?
  12. Happy to hear that! Let us know how it was once you are back, maybe a review for the others
  13. So Leo hasn't answered a question on this thread in more than a year? Why is everyone still asking questions? ?
  14. I feel much sympathy towards him and much intrigued by your psychedelic experience as well. I have heard of psychic phenomena under psychedelics but I have to do much research to learn more about it. Thanks for sharing your experience
  15. @noselfnofun Damn, that's intense. I am so curious how seeing the future even worked? Was it exactly what happened to him later on?
  16. Shambhavi is a combination of a few kriyas. One of these kriyas includes an AUM chanting, which only lasts a couple of minutes. It doesn't necessarily have to be loud. The whole practice takes 21 minutes. Are you planning on attending the retreat?
  17. That is completely fine. Just for the first 40-48 days you should just let you system adjust to Shambhavi and then you can add any other practices to your daily routine
  18. What do you have to say about different degrees of Enlightenment? How enlightened would you say you are compared to Ramana Maharshi himself or the Buddha?
  19. If you have the option, I might consider LSD since it goes really well with music than shrooms in my experience. But eitherway sounds a like a good time ?
  20. Nope, it doesn't I have not heard of that condition before, just learned about it. Seems quite rare
  21. Yeah that's a fair enough reason but I very much wish that you can make it there next year
  22. @Salvijus I'm in middle of my university degree right now but there is a good chance that I will still go. Postponing something so valuable doesn't sound right for some reason. What about you?
