@Corpus Wow, really clear answer, thank you. I liked what you said about "insights" being possibly self-deceptions, I'll be very curious to look out for that. -
LEO!! Where did you learn about your version of "contemplation" that you describe in your videos; How to Contemplate & How to Contemplate Using a Journal? I have never heard about this method anywhere else, from any other gurus or philosophers or online. Did you create this method yourself? learn about it at university? Did u get it from a course/book/seminar/another teacher? if you can remember please do reply, it would mean the world to me. I am asking is because I want to mention how important this has been to me in a university application, but ideally I'd get more info on it than "some youtube videos." Side note: thanks for teaching this, I'v been practicing daily for a few months & it is hands down one of the most powerful techniques I'v used. Link for those interested in learning this:

Thanks for the recommendations.

My attention always seems to automatically drift to my breath after i'v stabalised it on nothingness/emptiness/"true self"/choiceless awareness during my self-inquiry practice. I'll focus on my self & get that unique/weird self-inquiry-ey feeling u get when u flip awareness back on itself, but then once im sitting there in that thoughtless/concentrated state my attention always seems to just drift back to my breath. I'm still holding my attention on awareness itself/emptiness & getting that self-inquiry-ey feeling, but its as if, within/during that state of concentration, a part of my attention automatically drifts to the breath. This always happens anytime i practice self-inquiry, choiceless awareness, thoughtlessness or 1-pointed concentration on an object in my visual field. It feels like once i bring my attention to my object of meditation & it settles comfortably on it then it has nothing else to do & nowhere to go so it just drifts to my breath seemingly all by itself. Then it's as if my attention/awareness is split between the chosen object of mediation & then also my breath. Is this a bad thing? Have I gone astray? Should i be trying to ignore the breath somehow? Any advice on stopping this from happening if it's a bad thing? Thanks.

Anyone know where I can get them affordably online (i.e. under a dollar per tablet?) I can't find any cheaper than this, but I remember in Leo's nootropics video he says he can find them much more cheaply, but doesn't mention any specific websites (I've looked up the brand names he mentions, but can't find them any cheaper than anything else). Thanks a bunch, if anyone has any help :).

Good luck dude, don't recommend that u neglect all theory though (e.g. high quality books) - a few each year is always good to illuminate new ways of thinking & new angles to solve your problems.

Does anyone else have experience with these phenomena? I remember in Leo's self-inquiry video he says something along the lines of "don't stop when your heart starts pounding - that's enlightenment!" Are these indeed symptoms that lead up to awakenings? They do feel like they are building up to something, but always seem to subside & gradually pass away without really leading anywhere. More details: Accompanied by feelings of anxiousness & sometimes goosebumps & hands feeling to suddenly going numb/cold (especially when I notice something deeper about reality/become more conscious of non-duality - i.e. immediately during or following the realisation). Thanks ?

Thanks, narrowing it down will b a great start.

I've taken the ULP Course & found that the #1 thing I want to spend my life doing is simply self-actualization/personal development work itself. I am, as I'm sure many of you are, deeply passionate about learning this material. Any other forms of work/"life purposes" just result in a rather ugly divide between spending my time on that & then inevitably spending time on tonnes of self-actualization work anyway (e.g. reading books, studying material, taking notes, etc), so I figure why not make self-actualization the life purpose. The 100million dollar question especially really left me with nothing other than this - pursuing massive & profound understanding & mastery of (currently just about all - building a big picture, not specialised yet) of personal development. I'm curious as to what jobs/ways to turn this into a contribution/income source are available in the personal development/self-help industry other than life coaching, making book summaries (of which there are plenty), selling new courses & products online or making free content to rehash advice - what are the avenues I'm not considering? Would u say it is worth studying something like psychology at university if this is my goal (specifically helping ppl actualize/improve themselves)? Also, did anyone else get the same result from the course? Why would we want to divide our time between a life purpose & self-actualizing when self-actualizing can be the life purpose?? Huge thanks to anyone who replies to this, all feedback is accepted & appreciated, much love to all
