  1. What hurts me is that the discussion here blames Israel automatically without doing any little effort to check if there is at all another realistic way to eliminate hamas without causing the amount of casualties we have seen. Because maybe really there is no other way to do that and people here fall prey to what hamas most wanted them to in his propaganda.
  2. Is he from West Bank or Gaza? I wish we would see more like him.
  3. When cannot handle the complexity of the situation, our brain must pave a shortcut and just blame one side very strongly and make absurd claims about him in order to feel calm again.
  4. They have been asked to evacuate to southward of gaza lake from the beggining of the war. Israel can't get million of people even temporarily this is not realistic.
  5. @zazen The government represents part of the Israelis, and hamas represents part (~65%) of the gazaish. If you have a good strategy to eliminate hamas with less civilian casualties, please display it.
  6. @Breakingthewall The expansion of the settlements is wrong in my opinion and this is a mistake our current right wing government is doing. The wesk bank is more complicated because Jerusalem included in it and so there is a value of Jews being there and in some villages around the city too to not be in enclave, so the occupation of part of the west bank is necessary and understandable.
  7. Every country in the world does or did some amount of that. This is the nature of any country's existance.
  8. Children in Israel are educated to respect the different, to help others, to follow their dreams, to be independent. Children in gaza are educated to hate jews and to kill them. They are poor from age 0. "But Israel!"
  9. Just the very fact those children are under hamas regime is enough to make them poor and misserable with no future, but of course the world doesn't speak about that. Pure hypocrisy.
  10. I wish those children will get an appropriate leadership for their future in Egypt/europe/both. In gaza it will be almost impossible at least how it seems right now. Israel is doing them good long term, although short term the situation for them is hard as they are now humen shield hamas forces them to be.
  11. @PurpleTree The isolated settlements and part of the settlers DO cause a lot of problem. With that I agree. IDF have to be there anyway to arrest (almost every night) hamas terrorists, what prevents them from being the monster we have seen in gaza.
  12. Thank you again! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿงก I really appreciate it. And yes, I know there are many intelligent quiet readers here and I write this also for them. Being convinced even a little bit is a choice. Who don't want - won't be.
  13. ๐Ÿ‘ We will respect ourselves and keep going with our goals thats anyway the only way to be respected back.
  14. I hope our 240 hostages will be free.
  15. Because you dont know Israel and its ok. no anger on you. You are not suppose to know. I live here 36 years (from birth), I know the society, mentality, conversations, thinking patterns, values and know that your claim is pretty unlikely.
  16. Because Egypt closed the door for them and they can't go out. But Israel told them to evacuate to the south where there is food and water and very little (realatively) bombing Of course your idea is good, and to oppose to this and be against such idea is pure hypocrisy and support the terror.
  17. This is a place civilians were asked to leave many times before the attack, which under it a tunnel in which a big regimen of hamas is found. But hey, you won't justify it any way because from distance it seems simple to avoid. "What is the problem? Go there with only infanty." But then we go back to the problem above. We won't agree anyway. The debate is useless because emotions and indentity are leading the game. Only a post logical approach which in you will agree to see interviews and videos of Israeli perspective and I will listen to the opposite side will be effective, what I try to do.
  18. Much much less. And dont forget in those destroyed building there were many traps built for months and years to the time idf come.
  19. No. There is a whole intelligence unit responsible to guide IDF airplanes into strategical buildings hamas uses. This is quite selective.
  20. 100 times safer than if IDF would just enter Gaza without the air phase first to this impossible fortrees hamas has built for years.
  21. I fixed it to 100-200 this is quite realistic. The tunnels are actully not the main threat. The war is in urban zone with from hamas can fire you from every building from above and from hiding places. This is an unacceptable advantage to hamas Israel must diminish first.
  22. In this way get prepared to lose 100-200 soldiers every day as hamas has a HUGE advantage on you since you have not destroyed his fortrees from the air first.
