  1. Because of hamas. The Israeli-Egyptian border only prevents marine and air ways from Gazans.
  2. @Raze Thank you. Exactly what I mean. Of course they will do that. They think about their family members who are hostages of hamas. This is very understandable.
  3. @zazen Yes the Palestinian propaganda machine is very effective. They are very rich and enormously funded in billions. Not innocent nor "weak" at all. Their weapon is strong and sofisticated. Too bad that in regular days their mental weapon is used towards their own civilians, also, very effectively.
  4. Thank you for putting down your mask 🙂 Now I understand better how immaturity there is here, and that 90% of the pro palestine / Anti Israel propaganda is rubbish. I will keep trying to relate and make discussion with the sane 10%, although, this is difficult to find. Not so common as I used to think.
  5. The Israelis here stopped responding to this kind of things because they are tired from those toxic lies 🥱 They have been crashed from the food trucks and the soldiers in the tanks shot in the legs of those who ran deliberately towards them. Happy to help.
  6. hamas plans his whole strategy to make it impossible to harm him without harm civilians too. This his survival strategy. This is his 24/7 job. The number 1 survival strategy of every gerilla terror organization. To hide behind civilians and use them as a shield. Imagine 20,000 hamas terrorists hide behind civilians and see how difficult this war is.
  7. @Danioover9000 Ok. Yes. Everyone have their biasies. But bias is also experience in your side's world.
  8. @Danioover9000 Of course in the big picture. The developmental differences are night and day. Israel is similar to USA average and have big chunks of the population who are like New York and California and in the other side the more rural countries in USA too. Its a mixture. Anyone who will deny that is, sorry, but deluded in that issue.
  9. No. There is a huge difference between the good intentions of aljazeera and that of Israel. I saw the whole video of course two years ago.
  10. Pro Palestinians are not "bad". They just don't know at all the Israel world. A world which is completely and utterly out of their eyesight. At the same way, for example, that I may have a sense that I shortcuted in my mind of who is the Italian guy. Unless I visit there for at least couple of weeks (accumulated) I don't understand sh*t. Only after couple of weeks of touring I can start, only start, to have glimpses of the real thing.
  11. They focused during the whole video on almost only one case which I personally don't like or support, even if most of the arrested were hamas, what very plausible, still, I don't like this act. aljazeera will always focus, purposely and fully agenda driven, on the dark minority. What aljazeera are really doing is to project their own darkness, which is far-far more toxic, unhealthy and manipulative, into Israeli soldiers. But what can I do that the soldiers I know, part of them personally, and part of them through interviews (not in toxic channels) and I see humanity, good souls and a broad heart from their personality and talking. There are many good high quality people among IDF that been educated to the acceptance of the differencies in ethnicity, and to not want to harm the innocents. These are the majority.
  12. This country legitimately belongs to Arabs and Jews as one.
  13. @zazen If someone feels a connection to something - to a land, to other person, to another creature, to a flower, to a tree etc. you can't say he isn't right. If he feels that connection deeply in his bones and his emotions - he is right. Your function here is to respect and investigate this mysterious and special feeling, asking him questions and be interested in the root of this connection and maybe, if you see he need to, to help him find this connection root and a way to fulfill it.
  14. Shabbat Shalom from Israel 🌼
  15. Thank you! 🙂 nice to hear. You too provide high quality insights including this message and you are an asset to this discussion.
  16. Totally agree. They remind me the extreme relativism problem of the post modernism, when everything goes and there are no healthy principles, compass or guidlines anymore.
  17. @Thought Art I disagree. hamas has 90-95% of the blame to the situation in Gaza. To say our government didn't go too far from time to time? It is. I am not denying there is an extra damage in Gaza that could be avoided. There are problems of course. But Israel right now is a cornered animal and if you can't see that you can't see the situation clearly. Talking on history, both sides poured fuel to the fire, but the palestinians chose more terror even after a decade long of agreements to their favor. They don't want compromises. They want the whole cake. Most of the Palestinians came to the region just a little while before Israel, by the way.
  18. @Danioover9000 If he wants to see a clearer picture he must put himself in the hostages families shoes and also understand that yes even the decision makers minds are affected by the obligation they feel to the hostages lives and their indentification with them. But he doesn't want to see the complexity of the situation and prefer to maintain his story of the "bad vs the good" which make him a sense of meaning and put himself as the "good guy" who exposes the "injustices" and so on. Well ok, I understand he needs this meaning for himself. What about to call to put more pressure on hamas to release them ones and for all? Nah. Less interesting. This isn't sound as sexy. Ok.
  19. @Yimpa Of course you couldn't do anything otherwise. You are right. Thank you for the sharing. How do you feel today?
  20. Do you mean if you could take hormones instead of psychiatric pills that you took because your family interpreted your desire as a problem? Did you know from early age that you want to change your gender?
  21. Our brain is wired to have REAL connections and have real conversations and to be in a REAL natural environment. No AI nor virtual reality sunglasses will make us happier, but rather it will make things worse.
  22. This video of Teal Swan summarizes very well the problems and immaturity of the "woke" culture. Most of them are even not really stage green especially the young activists who appeal to this out of a desire to be different and "special" in all cost or even worse, from a sub culture conformism.
