Is there a particular vaporizer you recommend for 5meo-dmt freebase? I have searched on the forum and internet, but I am not clear on what works best. -
I am just coming down from a 5meo-dmt experience. I insufflated an est. 45mg. For some people this may be dangerously high - for me 40mg is the amount where it gets interesting. Also, while this (and previous trips) were the strongest spiritual experiences in my life, they were probably just threshold experiences by other people's standards. I felt the God body, but my self didn't die. Let me tell you a few things that I found noteworthy in today's trip. I had watched one of Martin Ball's talks the night before and applied some of his advice. After keeping my head down for the first 8 minutes I switched to a lying position with bilateral symmetry, as recommended by Martin. I had the impression that this was helpful. Some of my previous experiences felt quite taxing physically, with a heavy feeling in my upper body and me wondering if my heart rate or blood pressure were too high or too low. This time, on the other hand, it was pretty easy and free of discomfort. Multiple times I was tempted to move my head or arms into an asymmetric position, but I stuck to my plan and kept it symmetric. Interestingly, shortly after the peak I started moving my hands and arms in a symmetric fashion - a behaviour that Martin observed in many of his sessions with clients. I don't know if this was genuine or me merely repeating what I had seen in Martin's talk the night before. It certainly felt appropriate to make these movements at that point. Is this a sign of the deeper meaning of bilateral symmetry and the relation between left and right brain? Another remark: I am a bad swimmer and during the last couple of weeks I have been taking lessons and practicing regularly in order to become more comfortable in the water. Today's experience made me think of the feeling when lying on my back in the water. It felt a bit like I was diving into the bigger body of white noise that surrounds me. As if my learning to float in the water was a metaphor for me floating in the rest of existence and connecting to it. Again, I don't know if this is just my mind weaving stories around the experience. A third thing I want to mention is about the integration of psychedelic experiences - and the analogy with the water will help me explain what I mean. For a long time I have been struggling with the contrast between my high, inspired state of mind and my sober, skeptical mind, which tries to acknowledge what happened, but eventually downplays it. Think of the psychedelic experience as me being thrown into the water for half an hour (or a few hours depending on the substance). Once I have come down I am back on solid ground and I have no access to water whatsoever. It's not surprising that I am not able to integrate the experience of water into my regular life. It seems that I'd need much more regular practice of altered states of mind just as I need regular practice in order to become a better swimmer. Is micro-dosing the answer to this predicament? Can one micro-dose 5meo-dmt?

@Leo Gura What does it really mean to be omnipresent when one doesn't have a clue what's going on everywhere? To me the word omnipresence suggests that there is something that's connected to multiple centers. -

@Koyaanisqatsi I get the analogy. But here is where it fails. The child stops pretending and remembers that it is both black and white. It is conscious of black and white at the same time. It can see and know of the black and white pieces simultaneously. With me and you this is different. We take 5meo-dmt (or meditate) and say "I am you and me", but we know nothing about each other's lives. In the analogy the child is a much more integrated God than the one we experience. -

What does being connected to all living beings mean? Does it entail any transfer of information? According to Leo it's not visual information. A friend of mine once told me that when he did dmt he saw absolutely everything. I then asked him what specifically he saw and he couldn't tell me. I experienced 5meo-dmt and at the peak of it I myself talked about being everything and feeling the God body. Afterwards I was left wondering: How can I be everything and come back with so little information about what this "everything" is? Is this experience intrinsically void of content? Or is there content and I just haven't learned how to access it?
