  1. No need to get personal. That's a sign of ignorance and arrogance.
  2. Not believing is not strictly what I'm pointing to. There is an aspect of us that when strong enough just looks at thought and instantly says "nonsense". That is the beginning of the end of that particular karmic pattern.
  3. I don't think he does understand enlightenment. His integral model isn't about realization. Psychotherapy has absolutely nothing to do with enlightenment. Psychotherapy is a dogma, it never came from consciousness. That's not to say he hasn't helped people, but he can't help a person become realized. He even says so himself.
  4. @molosku He thinks ego development is akin to strengthening the witness. The ego is identification with thought, so how can strengthening the witness = a bigger ego? Yes the witness is the last part of the I to go before complete transcendence, it's still I, but it's not "ego". I want what some of ken is smoking because he's gone for sure!
  5. Even the notion of "consequences from people around you" is still a thought. Any thought of oneself or a other is delusion.
  6. @kieranperez wilber doesn't know what he's talking about
  7. @Anirban657 Not a chance. There isn't even anyone to communicate it to at that level.
  8. I have my own suspicions about osho too. Something isn't right with him.
  9. Enlightenment does dictate behaviour. The ego dictates behaviour, so if the ego has behavioural manifestations then ego transcendence has genuine behavioural manifestations. The problem with theorizing and borrowing information is that the obvious is missed.
  10. Look at osho. He had narcissistic personality disorder. But the more I look into him, the more I don't even think he was enlightened. He was a cult leader and tried to make up his own version of enlightenment. He didnt teach classic enlightenment, he taught a mish mash of everything he studied. And he studied a lot. His talks seem to be the mind regurgitating stuff rather than true insight
  11. You just think when you have to. Let me make something clear. Enlightenment is not about abandoning life and mind. It's about the end of suffering and that means no longer looking for oneself in the mind. Science is actually very accurate, there is not going to be a time when science isn't valid. Concepts have their place, but they are just not the big picture.
  12. Yeah. Enlightenment proper will happen when you stop caring and stop teaching can't wait for the day!!!
  13. @Satchidananda Nice. It's only a stroy if you don't use it to become enlightened and then let it go. It's a very nice tool to have possession of. Use it wisely.
  14. If you do it properly, by developing an ethical personality first, then you should be fine.
  15. @Pouya I think I've heard of a non duality and science conference.. So possibly, yeah. Why not? And enlightenment is a science. It's been proven for a long time. There is a system.
  16. You can process this by doing a lovingkindness meditation towards Ralston. Include yourself while you're at it.
  17. Enlightenment requires practicing unconditional love for everything until it becomes your nature.
  18. @FunBun I have those thoughts but I am not those thoughts. Try that for a while and see how you get on.
  19. @The White Belt The ego mind can never be healthy really. It's the inner witness that is the observer of the mind that is the healthy authentic self. That is a situation in which emotional healing can take place.
  20. Yeah. It's like do nothing meditation.. I also do a little netti netti when my ego is going insane..
  21. @Salvijus non directive meditation is what I do. Vipassana is part of that, but can't always watch the breath, you need to process thoughts and feelings too.
  22. When someone hates you When you don't get what you want When you're treated unfairly When someone pushes your "buttons When people do crazy things that are socially unnaccepable When someone gets away with breaking the rules and wins When you lose and someone you hate wins Would others like to expand upon this list?
